New user account not accessible under MS-DOS

Come play with BACK and passwords. Running Win 7. I have an admin account, a guest account, and I created a third account to try a white hat. When opening BACK in the profile of the admin, I can see the name of the third account (let's just call him Sam) and for awhile, I could go in the account options by using the function "net user". Trying to learn how to reset the password, I left BACK to seek more help online. When I came back to the "net user" function, I could see Sam's name come up, but when I tried to access it I got an error message that says "the user name is not found" and refers me to the error 2221. Was I somehow lock the account through BACK? Because I didn't have any password try restrictions put in place yet.

So, I tried to restart the computer, stop the computer and finally deleted the profile and created it again. Same thing: the profile name as user of the net, but I get the same error message when you try to access it.

Then I deleted the new profile and created a new one named differently than Sam, say that I named him Ted. Same thing: the name appears under the "net user" command, but I get the same error message saying "the user name is not found."

All this time I am still able to access the admin profiles and guest through BACK.

Any ideas?

Is there a way I can hide it to appear with the other profiles on the logon screen?

Under Windows XP, it was possible to hide accounts, but use them when you want. In Windows 7 it is no longer possible.

    Hello

I hope someone can help me, my OS is Windows 7, and after the execution of some updates my wife account rendered by the following message appears during startup, after entering his password: The Group Policy Client service is not logon. Access is denied. I did some research online and tried to solve this problem by using the system restore, but these attempts have failed, restore and resolve the issue, I finally go back to a time before the restore. Another suggestion was to create another user and migrate all files in General, that this seemed to be a solution, to the point where I needed to find the new user that I created, just, he did not appear in c:\Users, there was a reference to the fact that I would need at least 3 users on the system to accomplish this transfer I , but just to be sure I created another user but this does not seem to be.
I have show hidden files and folders checked (but why these new users need to be hidden I don't know).
The only users that should be in the file I think are: administrator, by default, Jim, Public and Verena, yet I have a lot of other files which some I think that created Xbox which I can't delete it, it may be a permission problem, but knowing that doesn't help me because I do not know how to get the necessary permission.
I am now at a loss as to what I do, any help would be very welcome.
    Kind regards

The folder that you see in the C:\Users folder for a user is that 'user profile '.  Simply create a user does not create a profile.  After you create this user, you must connect to the computer as that user so that the folder to create in C; \Users folder.

Duplicate of variant records "PC - Jim. 00 x" would indicate that you had profiles corrupt in the past and these are "temporary" profiles that still exist.  Corrupt profiles are almost always caused by the Corruption of system files, so you must perform a 'Check disk' operation as best as possible, by specifying the 'Repair' option to ensure that your file system is in good shape.

«Check your hard drive to find errors in Windows 7»

A few things you need to know:

    • The real disk check will be presented at your next reboot and runs before Windows load fully and cannot be interrupted
    • The disk check can take more than a few hours depending on the size of the disk and the amount and type of corruption - sometimes preferable to from one day to the next.
    • Sometimes, with certain types of damage, it can delete files or cause your system to start - so make sure that your 'important' files are backed up before performing this operation. (By definition, however, the 'Important' files are always saved)

  • New logon user - new user account is created, but it does not work

I have Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.  My computer has suddenly developed a little problem on user account and the guest account.  Every time a new user is created in the user accounts in the Control Panel, or the guest account has been enabled, users cannot open a session.  Any attempt to these users or comments of logon is greeted with "service user profile Service does not have the logon - user profile cannot be loaded."  When the new user is removed, and is used to save all the files, there is no file to be saved.

The problem is not a corrupt profile or SID which should be deleted or renamed and so on.  The problem is that when I create a new user through user accounts in the Control Panel, no profile or anything else seems to be created with it. The computer shows absolutely nothing more than the new user in the title of the user accounts and on the logon screen.  The new user is not in the settings under the my computer properties. There is no document (desktop and so on) for the new user in Windows Explorer; There is no SID for the new user.  It seems that there is no profile or anything for the new user.  System Restore could not help, because the incident that wiped out all system restore points also annihilated profiles. There is no '.bak' file in the registry for all users.

I have the same problem with the guest account.  There is nothing in the browser to indicate the existence of a guest profile. It doesn't seem to be a SID for the customer.  The guest account cannot be used because any attempt to logon as a guest is greeted with "service user profile Service does not have the logon - user profile cannot be loaded."

Yes, please is there someone who can help us solve the problem of not being able to effectively create new users and have a guest account. Thank you.

    Hello temp8127,

    Thank you for your answer!

You can do a 'repair Start Up' but will have installation disc.  If you perform a new installation, then Yes you will need to copy your personal files on a device.  Please let us know status.

Startup Repair is a Windows Vista recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as system files missing or damaged, that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. When you run the Startup Repair, it scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that your computer can start correctly.

  • Cannot create a new user account, the user profile service service does not log and cannot install a program

I can't create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service has no logon.

I have an administrative account which is the only account. I have problems with the installation of Autodesk Inventor so I need to create another user to see if I can solve the problem. But when I want to make a new user account and I get the following message: I can't create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service has no logon.

I haven't added new programs in a long time and I don't know when this question has been raised as I've had my laptop for 3 years and this is the first time I create another account than my original. I don't want to reset my computer manufactured settings.

I also followed the http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/947215/en-us but I can't find any registry master in the list of profiles. In fact, I am the only user in there...

It seems that my computer does not have a record in the system registry.

In fact, the problem started when I tried to fix the "C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer.or on a network. Check to make sure that the disc is inserted correctly, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If he can't always find the information could have been moved to another location. "I was at least able to connect in the new user but will load a default profile and therefore do not load the profile properly. It seems I've done worse the problem after doing

    gpupdate/force

at the prompt as an administrator.

The very initial problem started all this was when I was running from Autodesk Inventor, it gives me the following error: Mismatched Ole32.dll and Comcat.dll. And the support2.microsoft.com/kb/201364/en-us is to say that since I am under Win7, the solution is not applied. So I'm stuck. And the next move was trying to see if a new user profile may solve the problem.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

And if possible, please also suggest a "repair" method so I can get Win7 function correctly without reinstalling the whole machine. "" I use a laptop so I do not have installation media.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you for your update on the issue.

I suggest that you try to run the file system (CFS) Checker scan to check all the corruption of .dll files.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

  • New user account appearing is not in Windows Explorer (Windows 7)

I just got my reset of the HP laptop and I'm trying to set up a new account, I followed the procedure, but my new account does not appear in the list of users under Windows Explorer. only one generic user appears.

When you create a new user account in Windows 7, it prepares the system for the new profile, but does not create records.

User files are only created when a new user connects to Windows first. While Windows creates the folder structure for the new user, you will see the text in preparing your desktop on the Welcome screen. That's why the first connection to a new user profile takes a little longer than usual.

So to see a new user profile folders in Explorer you should first user or disconnection of the account used to create the new user, and then connect to the new user profile.

  • I created a new user account, but it does not appear to connect to it. (Vista Home Premium)

I created a new user account for my admin account.  I tried to create a standard account and I tried to change to an administrator account.  The only place that this account presents itself is managing it new user accounts in Control Panel.  If I try to change user or sign out and then sign back, it never gives me the possibility to sign until the new user account that I created.

I read another post that said to try to restart in safe mode, what I tried without success.

I also don't get no error messages, so I was not trying to fix anything, given that I'm not sure it's broken and I don't want to do something worse.  I only use this computer and Vista for a few days now, so I hope it's something simple I'm missing because I am not yet familiar with the operating system.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Microsoft Office not installed in the new user account

I recently installed Microsoft Office 2013 month last on my Windows 7 PC.  A few days ago, I created a new user account, but for some reason, Microsoft Office is not installed on this account.  It still works fine on other accounts of 2 user on my PC, but it's just a nuisance to have to switch between user accounts to use Office.  Is anyway to fix this?  I tried to fix it on my account, but nothing seems to have happened.

On Windows, applications are installed in all accounts. You will find some MS Office by clicking on the Globe to start / all programs, and then scroll down.

Good people you've heard of this one before:

I can connect to my basic admin account, but not others.  I tried to create new user accounts after you delete the old user accounts but system would not apparently carry out process.  I get the following warning:

Service user profile Service failed to connect
    User profile cannot be loaded.

I tried all of the recommended patches (see list below)

1 ran all appropriate steps as stated in the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215 - no joy
There is not other profiles listed in the register except the administrator account on the basis and since I couldn't connect successfully to a user apparently newly created accounts, the profile has not completed the process of generation.

    2. I have not ran the SFC system - no joy.  He replied with the following: Windows Resource Protection did not find any breach of integrity.

There are no entries in the registry for a guest or a new standard user account.  The registry entries for the three accounts normal-quickly (2 x admin, 1 x level) seem to be appropriate.  Watch register computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

    S-1-5-18 = system profile

    19 = local service,

    20 = network service,

    21 long numbers + 1004 plus User1 (admin),

    22 long + 1005 plus 2 user (admin),

    23 plus long + 1006 is user3 (standard,

All except the default user (I can't open) seem to have the appropriate, NTUser.DAT files although I don't know how to check for corruption.  Having both a default value

Plan h - while another user said that it was caused by a file Windows Live problem

This is the thread I can not create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service doesn't have the logon

You find it difficult to follow the thread as it's long and reported problem by different people to confuse it and there is also a bit of bickering [long filaments often end up being quite incomprehensible].

..., See references to the event viewer in the middle of page 4 and Windows Live we [at the bottom of page 2 more on page 3].

I see not the logic of the any of those things, but if one of them do things long enough that you are trying to create new accounts that works, you will know how in the future until a proper solution is found.

This is the useful part where this user has tested the solutions proposed in this thread linked above: -.

This has proved to contain leads to a difficulty.  Have to admit, when I read everything the first time, several days, I did indeed find it confusing and even the parts that I "heard" (sorta) does not appear to be related to my symptoms.

It turns out that the answer of JDMICHAL May 17, 2011 contained this:

    (1) C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows open live
    (2) this directory has two subdirectories with a single file of each. Go into each directory and apply the following:
    (a) make a right click on the file, open the properties.
    (b) click the Security tab.
    (c) it will issue a message: "to continue, you must be an administrative user with permission to view this object's security properties. Would continue you? ». Click on the button continue.
    (d) click on the Add button...
    (e) ' everyone' type in the box at the bottom of the dialog box. Click on "check names"; It should be emphasized the "everyone". Click OK.
    (f) ensure that the new "Everyone" entry "read" and "read & run" check under the column "allow".

After doing this for two files, attempt to connect to the account. He must undergo.

The procedure (bascially) worked... Although the different answers on my system differed slightly along the way (perhaps due to the slightly different versions of Win 7?, because I was already logged in as an administrator?).

In any case, "Everyone" with the read and read/execute permissions adding to these two files seems to have done the trick:

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\Bici1_00.sqm

    and

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\SqmApi\SqmData720896_00.sqm

Thank you for leading me to this!

I had the same problem.  Get the «user profile service has no user of logan...» "I tried everything I found online and nothing has worked.  Then I reinforced to the back and looked at the whole picture.  It turns out that it wasn't a computer after all problem but a question of the user.  Under folder C:/users/default in the end I managed to delete all subfolders except appdata.  So when you went to create a new user he could not find the correct files to copy to the new profile to store information in.  To ensure that I had a correct records back into the C:/users/default folder, I went on another computer and just copy paste the new default folder from another computer in the folder users on my computer and erased mine.  Of course I could create my comments and new users account once again.  Finally.

I do not see other user accounts in the guest account but I can't create a new user account because it requires admin name / password and my old details are not recognized? Any ideas on what I should do next?

  • Cannot create a new user account

    Hello and good evening,

I have a laptop HP Pavilion I've had for about a month. I was creating a HP recovery disk. As I didn't have the right amount of available disks, I cancelled it. The next time I went to do the same thing, there was a message in the HP support assistant saying that the recovery disk was no longer available.  So I created an image of the system in case I ever needed to recover my OS. It was stored on drive C. I copied and pasted into the recovery d drive [I don't know if you can do].

Anyway, some things have changed after I created the image of the system. The C: disk OS folder has been renamed Windows C:.

I felt a little uncomfortable about the whole, so I thought that I create another user account. Hoping that this would also restore my HP Recovery disk.

In any case, I went to do this and all seems to be OK, install applications and so on, until he came to a blue screen that says "Please wait". He remained on the screen for about 2 hours, after which the battery was flat. I repowered it and he started upward. He returned the same screen. I took the battery and plugged a USB based recovery disk. This led me to the Welcome screen, and I could log into my original user account.

I'm not game to try again to create another user account in case something terrible happens and it does not restart.

    What should I do?

    1. create another user account give back me my recovery drive originalHP?

2 could have another go to make him a corruption on my hard drive?

I don't know if it's an HP or a problem of Windows 8, so I posted both.

    I hope someone can help

    Chris

    Hi jcdck,

I see that you have some problems with your recovery disk. Create a new user account won't get your recovery disk. The same file structure will be implemented regardless of the user account. You should not generally be copy or save anything on the recovery disk.

You should be able to restore your PC to factory settings , but you need to back up personal files on an external drive or burn to a CD. It might not get your recovery back disc because this isn't the Windows function of HP.

Your only other option is to order the recovery CD for your model. If you can provide me with your product number I should be able to get your link to order. Are which country you located?

    Thank you

Back to your admin account > transfer document files/records in the Public record > logon for the user account > go to the Public folder > you should see all the documents.

How to "transfer" documents in the Public folder?
You can use one of the following methods...

    1. drag and Drop option.

    2 copy and paste option.

    3. copy to or move to the right click options.

    * My favorite is the options copy to or Move To.
