New user log on

I have assinged a new user and password on my computer and when we try to open a session as long as the new user I get the following message:

Service user profile Service does not have the logon - user profile cannot be loaded

I deleted the account and reassigned a new and have rebooted my computer and continue to receive the same message.

What should I do to fix?

Thank you.

Hi shepard890,

Microsoft has an article in the knowledge base that takes care of this. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the profile by using the computer properties dialog box. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, right-click computer, and then click Properties.
    2. Click change settings.
    3. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
    4. Under user profiles, click settings.
    5. In the user profiles dialog box, select the profile that you want to remove, click Remove, and then click OK.
  2. Click Start , type regedit in the box Start Search and press ENTER.
  3. Search for, and then expand the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
  4. Right-click the SID that you want to remove and then click Remove.
  5. Log on to the computer and create a new profile.

  • Cannot create a new user account

    Hello and good evening,

I have a laptop HP Pavilion I've had for about a month. I was creating a HP recovery disk. As I didn't have the right amount of available disks, I cancelled it. The next time I went to do the same thing, there was a message in the HP support assistant saying that the recovery disk was no longer available.  So I created an image of the system in case I ever needed to recover my OS. It was stored on drive C. I copied and pasted into the recovery d drive [I don't know if you can do].

Anyway, some things have changed after I created the image of the system. The C: disk OS folder has been renamed Windows C:.

I felt a little uncomfortable about the whole, so I thought that I create another user account. Hoping that this would also restore my HP Recovery disk.

In any case, I went to do this and all seems to be OK, install applications and so on, until he came to a blue screen that says "Please wait". He remained on the screen for about 2 hours, after which the battery was flat. I repowered it and he started upward. He returned the same screen. I took the battery and plugged a USB based recovery disk. This led me to the Welcome screen, and I could log into my original user account.

I'm not game to try again to create another user account in case something terrible happens and it does not restart.

    What should I do?

    1. create another user account give back me my recovery drive originalHP?

2 could have another go to make him a corruption on my hard drive?

I don't know if it's an HP or a problem of Windows 8, so I posted both.

    I hope someone can help

    Chris

    Hi jcdck,

I see that you have some problems with your recovery disk. Create a new user account won't get your recovery disk. The same file structure will be implemented regardless of the user account. You should not generally be copy or save anything on the recovery disk.

You should be able to restore your PC to factory settings , but you need to back up personal files on an external drive or burn to a CD. It might not get your recovery back disc because this isn't the Windows function of HP.

Your only other option is to order the recovery CD for your model. If you can provide me with your product number I should be able to get your link to order. Are which country you located?

  • Prevent the creation of new user accounts in Vista

Is there a way to prevent the creation of new user accounts in Windows Vista? What about restricting internet access to all new account that is created? Help! :)

    Hello

If your contact is logged on as administrator, then he or she can create a new user account. If you don't want someone else to create a new user account, you can then create a standard account for them, in this way, they will not have the privilege to create a new user account.

    Hello

The problem is probably damaged the ADMIN account, you were when you created the user account.

Log on as an ADMINISTRATOR or use the HAA below and REMOVE the user account that you created. Then move forward
as if your ADMIN account (the one you used to make this account user) has been corrupted. Once you are sure
It is OK then DISABLE the HAA - login to your ADMIN account and make a different for USER account
    see if everything is OK.

Try these to erase corruption and missing/damaged file system repair or replacement.

    1. run DiskCleanup - start - all programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup

    2. start - type in the search - box COMMAND find top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

Then do-, use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times. Do the
same for other accounts that may be difficult. Then if necessary you can also reset your password
in the accounts. Do not forget to leave your Admin account and the other to the desired level.

Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for

  • New user accounts won't load

Recently, I tried to set up a new user account for my fiancé on windows vista (64-bit). I have never tried to create a user account on this PC before, but did it often on other systems.

The account seems to be created very well, but when you try to log on to her computer freezes on the 'welcome' or 'office preparation' steps log in. I tried to delete the user account and making it once more. The same thing happens when I turn on the guest account. My account 'admin' of origin works fine, but the problem persists or not the new user is "admin" or not.

Can access other accounts in Mode safe, I don't know what to do from there to solve the problem. To retry again in normal mode the computer freezes.

No error message is displayed. The PC becomes totally unresponsive to everything I tried - Ctrl + Alt + Delete or keep the keys F for example. The only way to restart seems to turn the unit off. The gel lasts indefinitely (I tried to leave during the night and in the morning it's the same thing).

Your help will be massively appreciated!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
In addition to the suggestion of Michael Murphy. Try the following.

You are able to connect to an account in safe mode, there must be some programs that are unable to laod. We recommend that you try the following steps.
    Step 1: Safe mode.
    1. start the computer in safe mode.
Start your computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
2 disable all non-Microsoft programs. Try the following steps.
    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    b. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
    c. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
    d. click OK, click on restart and try to sign in to a user account (not in safe mode).

Step 2: If you are able to connect to a user account by disabling all non-Microsoft programs, find out who is causing the problem.
Read the following article and follow step 2 to step 6 to determine which is the origin of the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
When you have found the culprit, check if there are any patches or updates available for this purpose.

Step 3: Start the computer in normal mode.
    1. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.

I wasn't able to log onto my user;  I searched online for an answer and advise him to create another user - I had 'Admin' status with the original user.

    I followed the following instructions:

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/DSN/en/document?c=us&CS=19&docid=39CC797DE6882CB6E040A68F5B285C29&l=en&s=DHS

According to these instructions, I've logged on the account current and open a session on the new user account.  However, all my documents, pictures, music, files, office, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook Email, etc. have disappeared!

I not created it of new files or documents under the new user in the fear that it crushes everything and help restore everything back to its original state.

When I performed a search of the system / "C: drive", none of the documents or files have been found.

How to restore these things, especially my photos?  Or, how to restore the original user?

Any help you give me for this problem will be greatly appreciated.

original message: error message: "could not load user profile and user profile Service failed". Made a function to create a new user, but all my files, pictures, music, desktop icons and other stuff are GONE AND I can't FIND them ANYWHERE!

    Hello

Your data and files are still there in the C:\Users\Your user name where C: is the drive where
    user profiles are stored.

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup.

Some programs such as the updated Google (if you added the toolbar Google, Chrome or Google
Earth) has been known to cause this problem.

Use the Admin account hidden to lower your user account APPLY / OK then wear again to
ADMIN. This allows clear of corruption. Do the same for other accounts if necessary after the
    above message.

You can use the hidden - administrator account to make another account as an ADMINISTRATOR with your same
password (or two with the same password) use a test or difficulty to another.

You can run the Admin account hidden from the prompt by if necessary.

If you cannot access your old account, you can still use an Admin to migrate to another (don't forget
always leave to an Admin who is not used except for testing and difficulty account).

  • Restart the system created the new user profile

When trying to connect to my laptop (before leaving), I have a blank screen with only a cursor before I could log on to the computer. I got tired of hitting CTRL alt del to get into the Task Manager, but he did not do anything.

Then, I held the power button for five seconds to turn off the computer and restart it.  When he started upward, it showed an error that says the computer is not stopped correctly and on this screen, there are several options to reboot windows, I chose the option "restart windows normally" I could connect with my fine existing password, but when the windows actually open, my experience had changed and all my files are gone.  After some research, I found that all the old information of my were still there, but a separate user profile had been created and everything has been re-pathed to the new user.  The new user profile name was my existing profile name, then my name with a .pc at the end (ie. user name - username.pc).

My questions are twofold: one) what the hell happened? and (b) what is the simplest to make everything re-pathed to my existing user profile.

    Thank you

You have been put in a temporary user profile because the original was damaged. You can try the techniques below. If this does not work, let me know and I'll give you another path.

Critical files are under % systemdrive%\users\user-account\ntuser. The ntuser.dat file is actually a registry hive. Run regedit high and select HKEY_USERS and "load hive" in the menu. Now, go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

There is a line for each profile. If a profile is bad, check:

    (a) that the name of the key does not stop in ".bak" (remove .bak If it)
    (b) that the RefCount value is 0 (change it if it is different)
    (c) that the State value is 0 (change if different)

If this is not the case, make the changes and try to connect as this user.

More details of MVP Aaron Tiensivu - assume in this example that the user name is "atiensivu", field is "personal" and the user profile is located in % systemdrive%\users\atiensivu. Letter is usually C: on standard Vista installs. Replace each instance of "atiensivu" by the username of the corrupted profile.

    1. If you can log in profile, take note of the variable value environment % USERPROFILE. It will probably be "C:\Users\atiensivu" or "C:\Users\atiensivu.staff". Logoff.

    2. If you have opened a session with the profile at any time since your last reboot or you think that there are files in use in the profile, reboot. The important part is to ensure that there are no open files in the directory of the profile broke.

    3. log in as administrator or another account that has local administrator rights.

    4. run "takeown /r /a /d y/f % systemdrive%\users\atiensivu.

    5. starting at % systemdrive%\users, rename "atiensivu" to "atiensivu.old".

    6. in % systemdrive%\users, create a directory named "atiensivu".

    7 run "takeown/r/u staff\atiensivu/f % systemdrive%\users\atiensivu".

    8. run regedit and go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and remove the SID key to the corrupted profile. Best way to find the correct SID is looking for the 'ProfileList' key to the directory mentioned in %UserProfile% in #1 step.

    9. closure of the session.

10 log on the account "atiensivu". A new profile must be created. Copy all the files you can of the old profile directory.

Orders "takeown" might be overkill, but I don't like permission errors.

  • Access connections 4.52 tries to authenticate until the user logs

We have a large number of computers laptop R61 and R61i on our field. How they are to connect to the network is the Windows login screen appears, the user enters his user name and password, THEN access should try to access the network and connect.

Now, we have a few computers that start at the login screen but before the user can enter their credentials, logins continues its merry way and starts logging in the wireless... Since many of our customers are looking at the keys instead of the screen, they don't see what happens and are QUITE frustrated that they have to keep re - typing their username and password.

Of course, the network connection fails because all users logging into our wireless network must have a domain account.

This is how it is currently set up and works on MOST laptops.

I also tried with PEAP settings as well, but that he has not solved.

Any ideas?  Y at - it a Windows update that causes maybe this?
