help someone like Microsoft are as much help as nowt and I refuse to buy an another activation key, I contacted amazon who assured me it is a new product opened the United Nations and are not willing to help until Microsoft explain why he is blocked

-

I finally got Win7Ult working upgrade retail box.  Well, a Microsoft technology, or more precisely a maestro of Windows, it works.  When I called Customer Service of Microsoft, this morning I had a Microsoft technology which have recognized that my product key is new and authentic, but that the product key is not recognized by the basis of activation of Microsoft.  This technician properly recognized the problem of product key, created a WAU - key (Windows Anytime Upgrade key) to get the upgrade work, formally off defective product key and took control of my PC Win7Pro remote for about 45 minutes to install the upgrade software Win7Ult together (technology needed no DVD (, because everything has been done in line with a key WAU).  I suspect everything I need, it was the new key WAU and I could then use the sale to the retail-DVD sets to easily do the work myself, but I'm glad that Microsoft technology took from start to finish.  After that the technician disabled Microsoft product key from the sale to the retail-box, he gave me the new key WAU (looks like a product key), should I ever need to recharge the Win7Ult upgrade for some reason any.  Note that Win7Ult updates are now outdated, but from February 2016, Microsoft technicians who recognize correctly the question can operate.

  • Once for all, I'll be able to transfer to a new PC or not? Retail Win 7 Ultimate to win 10

    Hi all!

I spent most of my night navigation on these boards, trying to find an answer to this question and found tons of answers, many condradicting between them and some even condradicting the EULA, so I'm stuck. I'm to the point that I think I know the answer but I havn't really got confirmation.

    Heres so the deal:

I havn't improved again and I plan to do more, but... this computer is starting to become old enough and I'm planning for a new build soon enough, don't expect that adequate material being released, Pascal ftw!

I don't want to upgrade my Win 7 Ultimate retail to win 10 just so he can be locked on this current computer specification, so I just keep my Win 7 cause frankly it has served me very well, but if there is a chance that, after upgrading my license will be mobile to my new future computer (that I will be buying in the coming months) , then that is a leap of faith, I feel I must take.

    Thus,.

IF I go now, I have 2-3 months will be able to use a bootable USB key with a Win 10 on my new computer image (after wiping this computer ofcourse) and everything will work?

In view of the many questions on this subject, I suspect you educated people are pretty tired of that question now, but please bare with me and give me some closure, I'm literally pulling my hair :)

    Kind regards

    Fredrik

    SOLVED.

    Hello

I have a laptop Samsung R60 (which was under Vista) and I put a larger HARD drive in and DVD intalled a new copy of Win 7 Ultimate and all updates.

Since the installation of Win 7 my battery lasts now only 5 minutes and the laptop goes off, where as before he would take 2 hours + with Vista.

If I stick my old hard drive in the laptop battery is now 5 minutes where as the same day installation before sailing, new HARD drive and Windows 7 install battery lasted more than 2 hours.

  • Cannot connect Win 7 Ultimate to my secure WPA2 wireless network

Any suggestions for how to connect to a wireless network secure n.   Currently running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit and cannot get the sysytem works correctly?

    Hello

    Maybe this can help

There is an inherent Catch22 to attempt to repair a computer wireless through wireless. Given that the without wire is not connected to the source, there is no interaction between the wireless source and the Wireless Client and no frame of reference to find what works and what does not.

As a first step, I will temporarily move the computer to a place close to the wireless router and plug with a wire.

When he works with a wire, switch Off the Wireless Security in the router, disconnect the wire and try to make wireless work. This must be done when the computer is always close to the wireless router to compensate for the weak, and or blocked the signal that could be part of the problem in the new suite spot work.

    In the computer itself.

Most laptops have a physical switch for the wireless card. Read the manual of the computer and make sure that the wireless adapter is on.

Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Check network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

Above everything is OK and it connects to the wireless router. Log in from any computer which is, or can be connected to the router with a wire wireless, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless streaming is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.

When the work turns on the Wireless security.

Note * people sometimes make mistakes in writing and retype the password for security.

Another way is to copy in the menu of the router and then paste it when asked of the wireless card.

    --------------------------------------------------

I really checked and configured every thing and it doesn't work.

Software firewall application that is not configured to allow local traffic (between the computer and the router is also a possible problem.
some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

reinstallation of the system for the media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

I am a IT consultant and in this crazy business for nearly 30 years. I currently have three computers, two desktops and a laptop.  I bought the laptop and the old office of Acer with Vista Ultimate.  In the meantime, I've updated for Windows 7 Ultimate.  I recently bought a new computer from Dell with Win 7 Home Premium desktop and my two primary readers left the old office of Acer and get in the original drive that has Vista Ultimate on it.  Therefore, I do not use the license for Win 7 ultimate I bought.  I want to improve the Win 7 Home Premium to Ultimate on the new office.

  • (Win 7 Ultimate) 32-bit to 64-bit without

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to computers, I just have a question. Can I switch from 32-bit Win 7 Ultimate to a 64-bit version, I do not have the CD right? Thank you very much.

You can upgrade, but it will be a "Custom" / Clean install because there is no direct path from a 32-bit OS to a 64-bit version of Windows. "" See detailed information on getting a 64 Bit DVD and installation procedures below the dotted line.

What this means is that you will need to re-install all of your applications and make a backup of your data (Photos, music, Documents, Etc.) files before start you.  I also suggest that you create an image backup of your existing installation of 32-bit as safety net.

You will also need to download 64 bit versions of the brand device drivers your computer and model number. Install the drivers once the upgrade has been completed, starting with the chipset driver and then install the drivers, SATA, USB, Audio, LAN, or the Internet, wireless.

  • Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 not recognized ZS running Win 7 Ultimate - 64-bit

    Friends,

I have a situation where I ask for a help. It's as follows:

    1. the old desktop that PC is equipped with a device for Creative Sound Blaster USB based - Audigy 2 ZS attached, it was purchased in August 2008 and since then, initially worked with Win XP (32-bit) - August 2008 to Oct 2012, then Oct. 2012 (when I upgraded the operating system to Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit) until last week when I upgraded the PC hardware.

    2. However, after the upgrade, the PC does not recognize this device shows at all - a yellow exclamation mark with a label "unknown device" in Device Manager, when I connect the device to the USB port.

    3. the last time (in 2012) when I upgraded the OS on the old XP PC to Win 7 hardware, the operating system recognizes the device even without installing the drivers (i.e. for Audigy 2 ZS of Creative) and he has been active (usable), as soon as I plugged the same. However, later I applied Win 7 64 bit drivers from the Creative support site. Now, even though I applied the drivers for Win 7 64 bit for the device, it is not recognized under Windows.

At the config of my old PC: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6540, card mother Intel graphics card Nvidia GT 220, some hard drives SATA 2 x 250 GB, 8 GB of RAM.

At the config of my new PC: Intel Core i3 (3rd generation), card mother Gigabyte, graphics card Nvidia GTX 650, SATA 1 x 1 TB hard drives & 1 x 250 GB, 8 GB of RAM.

I understand that this question, referring to the Creative device, should not fall directly under the responsibility of Microsoft, however, I looking for entries from anyone who may have any suggestions or is faced with identical situations / similar. Thanks for the patience to read this long query.

    -Milind

    BossDweebe,

Thanks for the suggestions. The origin of difficulties - the PC also has graphics card Nvidia GTX 650 and as part of the package of drivers for this graphics card, HD Audio driver (Nvidia) also was installing. This HD audio driver not allow Creative Audigy 2 ZS on USB to be recognized as an audio device. So I had to remove the HD from Nvidia audio driver and then install (an update) Creative driver for the device. It worked.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium to Win 7 Ultimate upgrade

I am running Win 7 Home Premium OEM 32 bit OS.  I have a new DVD Win 7 Ultimate disc authentic (not UPRADE) full version retail.  To upgrade, do insert a new disk and instal from that using the code activation which is included in the package.  Also can I use the 64-bit disk. In due course, I intend to upgrade to Windows 8 k once I've sorted on the application. Any help will be appreciated, but keep it simple.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation).

Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • Installation of Win 7 pro on win 7 ultimate

    OK, the first facts:

My friend has a computer that came with Vista installed.

Some time before, she had a problem with the computer and brought it to a repairman.

When she got the computer back everything was in order, but the repairman installed a copy of Win 7 Ultimate instead of Vista.

Everything went well for a while, but yesterday after an update, Windows 7 has been declared as not authentic.

She immediately called the guy who told him that it is not surprising that it had installed a pirated copy.

She now wants to buy a legitimate release of Win 7.

    Now for the questions:

She does not have the ultimate version of Win 7, Win 7 Pro would be better suited for her. Is it possible to downgrade Win 7 Ultimate to Windows 7 Pro without losing all data on the hard drive?

In addition, she still the Vista COA at hand. Then it would be possible to just switch to Win 7 Pro without having to reinstall Vista first?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to downgrade directly from Windows 7 Ultimate Windows 7 Professional, without modifying the files. You can not downgrade any Windows like the upgrade. THUS, back up all personal files and other files, and then perform a new installation (will erase the partition and install Windows 7 professional fees). You can then restore the files. Note that installed applications/programs should not be backed up because they can be installed after the installation of Windows.
This process requires no installation of Windows Vista. But if you plan to upgrade, rather than clean install of Windows 7 Professional, you must install Windows Vista (new installation) first and then proceed to the upgrade.
Note this upgrade can be made between architectures, i.e., x 86 (32 bit) x 64 (64-bit) or vice versa, even if it's Windows Vista to Windows 7.
