New Wireless Desktop 800 with no transceiver - what can I do with the keyboard and mouse?

I have a MS Wireless desktop 800. After a week, I broke the mini transceiver and bought a new game. Since the first set keyboard and mouse are matched at the factory and cannot be re-synched, I find myself with essentially a new keyboard and mouse that I can't use. I wouldn't throw out - they are brand new. Is this WHAT can I do with them?

Hello

There is no suggestion that we can do to solve this problem.

It's specific hardware of matching which can only be solved through software.

You must contact the material support of the link below:

I have a keyboard and wireless Microsoft mouse 2000 but the transceiver does not seem to work.

I also have another transmitter/receiver (same model) which belongs to Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 5000, so my question is:

    Thanks in advance

    You can not.

The receiver is synchronized with the keyboard and the mouse in the factory and cannot be re paired at the level of the Office

    Hi s lyle,.

    1. what operating system is installed in your machine?
2 have you installed updated drivers for your combo logitech keyboard/mouse logitech mk320 wireless?
    3. What mail client do you use?

I don't think it's a fault of Microsoft, since the problem occurs with a logitech product.

However, you can follow the steps below:

    Step 1:

I suggest that you install the latest updates from their Web site .

    Step 2:

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers logitech MK320.

    a. Click Start and right click on computer and select manage. This will bring the computer management window, now on the left sidebar, select Device Manager.

    (b) then go to the keyboard and do a right-click on its name and click on uninstall.

To reinstall the drivers, right click on the name of your keyboard and click Update driver software.

    c. you have two options here, click the option that reads «Search automatically for a driver software updated»

  • System Restore with the keyboard and the mouse works do not and do not know admin password

I recently decided to update my drivers on my 9 year old bridge. Apparently the program that I used to do didn't realize a bad driver when he sees... Sort of my keyboard and mouse not responding while windows was loaded. They work enough for me to access the bios, enter the menu start and also when I hit enter to boot from a windows cd.
I'm trying to access my restore points to get rid of the driver that has been installed. Unfortunately when I put the windows CD and try the repair option I can't log on to the volume because it requires an administrator password. I tried Admin admin admin admin and leave blank. I even ran a program to reset passwords (I do not use any which way.) still cannot log on to the volume. I also tried to pass in front of the screen to repair and installation of windows to fix this. I can hit escape and pgup and pgdown but not f8 to agree to the agreement.
When I boot in safe mode with command prompt that it still forces me to click on an account to connect. Which I can't because the keyboard and the mouse do not work when windows is loaded.
I can't get to the command prompt to display the box to help restore points?

  • How to use the Arc keyboard and mouse Arc using the same USB Transceiver?

I bought a bow from Microsoft and Microsoft Arc mouse keyboard.

Both devices come with their own 2.4 GHz USB tranceivers.

I want to connect the keyboard and mouse to a transceiver.

I can't find any instructions on how to do it.

In comparison, my Logitech keyboard and mouse comes with software that allows me to pair several devices to the same Transceiver.

How to connect the keyboard and mouse to a transceiver?

    P.

As far as I know, you can do that.  If you want the keyboard and mouse on a transceiver, you buy a keyboard/mouse kit, commonly known as a desktop computer.

Is it possible to get just the driver of the transceiver, or am I just GROUND on this until we have upgraded to Windows 7 in 2015?

Guys, my original problem was solved when I realized the transceiver has been broken. Return unit and to get a job one was the only solution, as transceivers are apparently matched and unable to be activated, making the matched kb/mouse unusable and trash.

  • erratic wireless keyboard and mouse

    Two week old HP Pavilion h8 - 1380t, core i7-3820: 3.60 GHz, 14 GB of memory 1600, Win7 Pro 64-bit.

Keyboard & mouse extremely accurate up until yesterday. KB & mouse connect with internal wireless, not the Receiver USB receiver. Keyboard started erratic behavior: simple typo produced several repetitions of key or other random character; keyboard is unresponsive to the strike and tab; When you type two words, leaving aside the characters, you know that you have entered. Mouse sometimes slow to react and temporarily freezes for several seconds. First, I replaced the batteries, but did not hold the buttons connect for 5 to 10 seconds. I did re - synchronize both today and as I type this, the keyboard and mouse seem to behave normally.  I have been installing new software constantly for two weeks and no doubt have you installed something yesterday. Re-syching may have solved the problem. I'll reply to this post at the end of the day. No idea why the keyboard & mouse would lose sych in the first place?

My problem with the erratic keyboard & mouse disappeared when I moved the dongle to the USB port on the top rear.

  • HP 15 laptop: problem with the touchpad and the key "stuck."

    Hello!

Last weekend, I have an irritating problem with my HP 15 laptop. Bought two years ago and upgrades to Windows 10 a year ago.

First of all, my touchpad started to not work properly. It "freezes" and I can't use it until I click the ESC key, but it doesn't last and "freezes" again a few seconds later. Then, everytime I open a window where there is a text box (Start menu, edge browser, Control Panel, etc.), the number 5 is entered automatically and permanently, as if the button 5 has been blocked. I did a quick check and button 5 do not seem physically stuck.

Yesterday, I restored the system to the factory settings, so I'm back to 8.1 for Windows and then upgraded to Windows 10. Everything seems to work fine, but this morning, the problem was back. Is there something I can do? What is the problem caused by Windows 10 or the computer? Should I restore it to Windows 8.1? Everything worked great til last weekend, I don't know what that was.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Welcome to the HP support community @gouch3.

I understand that you have a problem with the keyboard and the touchpad on your laptop from HP 15.

Have you tried to use a keyboard external and mouse at all?

Have you tried to go to Safe Mode to see if the problems persist in there?

Have you tried to perform a material or forced reset Reset?

Did you do a test of material?

    Have you updated your drivers?

It could be a driver problem to be able to look at that for you, I need your model number. I wish I could give you an answer or not, but at this point without the troubleshooting results and the model number, it is difficult for me to say.

I can say that if everything works in point 8.1 of Windows without problem, the driver TROUBLESHOOTING is a great place to start. Please try to follow these steps for the keyboard and the touchpad of troubleshooting:

    • Beginning
    • Search for Device Manager
    • Search results, open Device Manager.
    • Click on display
    • Show hidden devices.
    • Click the arrow next to keyboards.
    • Right click on the name of the keyboard device.
    • Select uninstall.
    • Continue deleting the names of devices in the category keyboards until the feature of all the names have been uninstalled.
    • Restart the laptop twice.

    Touchpad:

    • Type of research, "Device Manager."
    • Click on Device Manager,
    • Expand mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right click on the TouchPad,
    • Click on uninstall.
    • Restart the computer laptop twice,
    • Reinstall the TouchPad card.

I found a document of troubleshooting for you to try also called Portable keyboard troubleshooting. Please be sure to follow the steps described in this document.

The best document I have for TouchPad problems is the use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad document.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers that need to put up-to-date.
