Newbie #2 - got AnyConnect works, can not get to work computers

This simple solution is beyond me!

I got work AnyConnect successfully and I can get a VPN connection to my public static IP (69.x.x.x). I can ping devices on my home network (10.x.x.x) and surf the Internet from my PC at home, but I can't ping any computer on my work network (192.x.x.x).

I added a NAT exemption rule (please see attached screenshot of the NAT exemption rule) and I entered the command management-access to the Interior of the ASDM, but I still cannot ping any computer work.

Just to make sure the connections/ICMP traffic works in what concerns the firewall settings.

Make sure you have ICMP inspect enabled on your firewall.

My firewall is the newest software, so I'm not 100% sure if the menus/options are named in the sameway about your ASDM software.

Try to navigate in the following sections

  • Configuration (in the top bar of the WHPA)
  • Firewall (in the lower left button)
  • Policy rules (in the lefhand side with which is visible after the choice of the previous section "Firewall)
  • There should be something called "inspection_default" in the main window
    • Click to select
    • above, it is the "Edit" button, click it
    • In the opening window, go to "Rule Actions.
    • Check the box in the section "ICMP" and then apply the configurations

There was also a 'Search' function in the ASDM. Somewhere in the upper part of the window of the ASDM may be. If you type write "inspect" it (without the quotes) you should get the results of a search that takes you to the section where you can change the configurations "inspect".

If you have the SAA in pretty basic configuration, you could simply "drop" these lines of the ASA configuration by choosing

  • Tools (from the toolbar above)
  • Command line interface
    • Choose several line
    • Copy and paste the below configurations
    • Press 'send '.

    If you use a 32 bit Vista copy then any upgrade must be run from the Vista desktop.

    Make sure your network connection is working and properly configured.

    1. what happens when you try to start the remote access connection manager? You receive messages or error codes?

    2. you receive error codes or restore messages when you perform the system?

    You can check the status of the following services and make sure that the services are started.

    a. Click Start and type Services in start search and press ENTER.

    b. in the services with the right button on the phone and then click Properties.

    c. under the general tab, select automatic next to startup type.

    d. under the general tab, click Start under the service status and then click apply and then click OK.

    e. Repeat steps c & d to the remote access connection manager and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager service.

    I can run my code very well but can not get the debugging work. When I click on debug that code runs immediately but in flash builder it says launch ProjectName (percentage)

    and it takes quite awhile ~ 3-4 minutes and then I get the error message

    Ensure that:
    1. you compile your Flash application with debugging on.
    2. you run the debug version of Flash Player.

    Hey chris,

    from the looks of it, two things can be wrong here. check your debug configurations and search two fields for the IP address and the IP address of host debug. Was that changes of IP address of your host (DHCP) and you need to update periodically in your flash builder settings. You can check your IP address using your command prompt and appropriate controls (ipconfig / ifconfig). Good luck!

  • tiles of Windows 8 & shortcuts not working does not and can not get cmd prompt

    Currently have a friends laptop to look at as they were able to add a user. When I connected to my wifi I beieve an update has been installed and now tiles and shortcuts will not work and can not get command prompt.

    Win + R key comes box but cones with errorwhen all orders entered for example cmd msconfig etc.

    Have not all discs re - install - suggestions?

    CTRL-SHIFT-Escape is the direct shortcut for Task Manager.

    If you can't have the power button to enter safe mode, you can do it from the login screen.  Restart your computer, but do not connect.  The login screen, use the power icon and hold down SHIFT while you click on restart.  This will take you to the menu troubleshooting then you can try to refresh.

    There is a known issue with iOS 9.3 and there is still no specific treatment. The ideas below can help, or they may not. It has been a success among others and no simple way to resolve the situation.  You can judge if you want or you can just wait and see if it fixes itself. The problem is most likely on the end of Apple, which means it is not much end users can do until it is resolved.

    Some have suggested to go to icloud.com, sign in with your apple ID and remove your device from your cloud account, and then try to activate again.

    Others have suggested to simply try to restore the factory via iTunes on your computer settings.

    The restoration works for others once they go to iCloud.com and remove their device.

    Option 4 is just wait and see when Apple can issue a fix.

    The only way to install an ipad app is through the app store.  PC or Mac software does not run on the ipad.  Search in the contacts link at the bottom right of this page.  Give apple a call.

    I guess is the icon for pages in icloud for storing documents pages.  At the same time, apple had a cloud based pages.  Not sure what happened to her.
