• Header image causes the displacement when loading pages

  I built a project with a size of header 215px on only one master and placed a box of 'Wide' with a ladder to the fill picture, with my logo and the navigation Menu I want to expand on all pages of the Web site.  When I move from page to page, the menu bar and body of text temporarily transfer and then down again made the transition from one page to another very clumsy looking and have a nice static header between pages.  If I remove the header image this behavior disappears, but given that it is a standard feature of Muse and is covered in the first tutorial of training Katie coffee, I guess it should work more smoothly.  As a side note, I went back to the site of the Katie coffee I built with instructional video and noticed that this behavior also occurs on the homepage of this site, so therefore it doesn't seem to be specific to the design of my site.

  Given that I put a header size on my master, at least, I think the position of the page body to stay consistent with this, even if there were changes in the header box?

  Please change the fill to fit and then check, in addition to publish the site to the live page as the browser view probably will not show the same question.

  Hi all

  I have a site I created in DW CS3 I'm kicking around the idea of adding an affiliate store. I think I might be better served if the store has an image of header different than the main site. I can create a whole new site for the store, or what I like to do now is just make a new page in the main model and change the header image just for this page to see how it goes. Anyone know the code I could use to have a template page replace the CSS and use a new just header image for only one page?

  I have DWCS4, so perhaps this was changed between 3 and 4?

  EDIT: Another way to go (in DWCS4 anyway) is to click on the image in Design view, then go to insert > template objects > editable region

• Header image overlapping the menu div...

  I decided to play a little more with Dreamweaver and started building a website in it. So far, everything went smoothly, but I have to cover the menu buttons in the header image (which is the bottom of my buttons at the same time) and noticed that the same header image overlaps the buttons menu, but only in editor mode, when I test the Web site inside my browser buttons are visible and are ok.

  I tried to put them both in absolute positioning and the value of z-index... but in the header Editor always overlaps the menu buttons.

  Hello. I'm really, really new to web design. I started with a free template and have made some changes. I've been messing around with the spry menu bars, and I don't think I'll use it right now. Somehow, I accidentally created a space between the header with the navigation bar and the main wrapper. It wasn't like this before. I don't know if it's a CSS or HTML error. • Newbie Help: PE7 Images?

  Hello, I just downloaded the version first Elements 7 track. I have a small video of 15 seconds and I'm wanting to add a. GIF image in the video. I asked a friend, and she said to use PE7 to edit my video. Well, my friend recently went out of town so I can't ask him for help. Is it still the right program to add a. GIF to video? I also Adobe Flash Professional CS4 for a future class, but I've never really used that is. I would really appreciate help, quickly. This video is for a good friend of mine and I have to give her as a farewell present before he returned to his native country.

  What you're talking about requires you to put movies on separate tracks.

  If you are familiar with the concept of "layers" that Photoshop (and image editing programs such use), then video titles feature in the same way.

  Basically, if you have a movie on Video 2, it will appear on the top of the film which is in video 1.

  See "place one clip above another in the timeline" in help for a description of how to do this.

  Hello. I am a newbie and really wrong with the basics. Please can someone help me?

  All I'm doing is to insert a logo at the bottom of the page (or as much as really!) I inserted the file on the page that shows fine in dreamweaver, but it doesn't seem to 'put' and when I check the page online that shows simply that the name of the image.

  You're prob. saying "duhhh" in your head right now! but I'm used to photoshop and illustrator, I find dreamweaver so complicated!

• So frustrated! Need help positioning of image...

  Hi people...

  I'm learning CSS fitfully, and well I don't have a pretty good understanding on this subject. I hope someone can help me.

  I created this page and tried to place an image in the large 'essential' to the right of the slideshow area. It did not work, kept be moved elsewhere. Then I specified it as background image for this div instead... It looks fine in Firefox and Safari (I'm on a Mac), a colleague with Internet Explorer 7 on a PC however, it appears way down at the bottom of the page after the slide show

  I looked at all the ways to insert the image, but none of them work. I know I must be missing something very simple. Can anyone help?

  I'm trying to focus my website using Dreamweaver. When I saw my site in Dreamweaver, it looks good and centered. When I upload the site to Godaddy my site left justified. Can someone help me please. I am a novice and I am trying to create a page for a small business. Here is the coding of the site. I tried several stuff online help, and nothing seems to work. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks for your time! Also, I think it has something to do with the CSS part. I'm also using a CSS stylesheet.

• FF17 Personas do not display the header image.

  In Firefox 17, none of the Personas I apply show any type of image, if header or footer.
  They even change the color of my tabs and the text of the names of my tabs, so the personas are applied with success in some way.
  Looking for an answer was not clear. According to a few suggestions, I re-enabled the default theme, restart Firefox, then changed Personas, but the problem persisted.

  I created a region of the head of the region that needs the background image to repeat vertical as horizontal, so that the class has been changed to include repeat them instead of horizontally.
