  I have two Clips Sansa (2 GB and 4 GB) and that both exhibit the same behavior.  When you listen to the Clips with a helmet, all right.  However, when I connect the clips on my car stereo (using a cable miniRCA to the dashboard stereo) Clips will play OK but the problem is due to the noise of road etc, should I increase the volume on the stereo of dashboard and Clips.  However, when I do that, at some point, the Clips will be 'clip' or 'pop' when the noise gets to a certain level.  I tried to change back and forth between normal and strong volume and also played with the equalizer with no effect.  My car stereo volume is thus contributed to the maximum.  This is a real problem because it is virtually impossible to listen to the Clip when driving (especially with podcasts or audio books where sometimes the voice is low, then I need to turn up the volume).  Is there some kind of limiter built into the Clip?  If so, is it possible to disable it?

  I don't know how you are set up exactly, but try another cord to connect to the car. It can be such a thing as the cord you can not handle put it.

• Crackling / popping noises during playback of music via Bluetooth for car radio (6 s iPhone / iOS 9.2)

  Since getting my iPhone to launch 6s, I noticed that there are quite loud crackling and popping noises coming through when I listen to the Apple music in my car audio system (connected via bluetooth).  For those of you old enough to remember, it is similar to the noise that scratched used to make recordings of LP!

  Curiously, there is no problem when first to connect the iPhone to my car (a Ford S-Max).  It appears that when I get in the car for the second time - and then it stays until I have cancel the twinning of the iPhone from the car and start over.

  Interestingly, the problem is not present on my old iPhone 6 (which I still have) or 5 my wife's iPhone or iPhone 5 s son.  This makes me think that the problem is not with the car.

  As an extra touch, the iPhone 6s has been replaced by Apple because of this problem, but the alternative is to have exactly the same problems.

  I would really advice or tips that anyone of you can offer.  In addition, it would be good to hear if anyone else has experienced this problem.

• Newbie question: how to extend in unallocated disk in a VM XP?

  Hi all:

  This is a newbie question, but looking for answers only left confused me...

  I have VM Fusion (v2.0.6) running on a MAC (OS X - Snow Leopard) with an XP VM. When the XP VM has been implemented, it has been implemented with 20 GB hard drive space. I used VM Ware Virtual Machine settings to increase the disk space of 50 GB. (I left the "pre-allocate disk space' and 'divide into 2 GB files' options unchecked.) I don't have any snapshots during execution/implementation.

  However, my current XP VM flashing me alerts "low disk space" - I see only about 1 GB of free 20 GB (I don't see the 40 GB listed in 'My Computer'). When I use the Services of management of disk in XP, I see a disk 0 20 GB System Partition with 30 GB of unallocated space.

  How can I extend the current Parition (System) in the space of 30 additional GB? And do I have I done this to begin with?

• Newbie Question: What should I put in for "Hostname" in the DNS Configuration during install ESXi

  Note: I'm not a professional but rather an amateur trying to test the power of virtualization technology. I understand the IP addresses and how to configure my router, Setup static IP address and build my own computer, but I have some limited knowledge when it comes to the configuration of the servers. All I want to do is use this ESXi server locally in my house to run several operating systems on one physical box. I really don't want to have a server on the internet, I think that Comcast doesn't let me run the servers with dynamic IP package I have. In any case, here's my problem:

  I followed with the installation of the link video tutorial ESXi in the intro email vmware sends you after registering. I'm around the 14:30 mark minute now where we are the management network configuration in the configuration menu of DNS.

  The tutorial guys sets its hostname to something he obviously installation but mine appears as "localhost.hsd1.ca.comcast.net". I do not understand what I do when I set up a host name - and as I said above, I don't want to be put in place a server on the comcast network.

  I think I'm a bit confused and don't know what to put in host name. I tried "localhost" and also "localhost.hsd1.ca.comcast.net" but hen t when I chose "network of test management", I got a message of failure for hostname.

  Sorry if it's a super newbie question, but I will not continue to implement virtual machines or what then if this setting is incorrect. I appreciate your time in reading this / to help me. Thank you.

  UPDATE: Ok, so since I'm impatient, I tried just letting the host name to what it was and continues with tutorial and realized that I could simply type the address static IP address from my ESXi server in my web browser from another computer on my home network to get the VI of the esxi Server client , then I typed just 192.168.1.50 which is that I put it was and it was successful! Is there a reason to set a host name then?

  So, my next question becomes: can I run my windows XP 64 OS at the same time as the ESXi Server? Each are installed on different disks in the same physical box, but this computer is one of my main computers that I work on in windows every day so ideally I would have ESXi running but also be able to use the base operating system. Is this possible or am I just dreaming / confused?

  Your welcome hardnesses, I think you can try to re-insalling ESXi with the hostanme you want, or you can connect to the existing installation with an unsupported option and try the same thing.

• 2 blackBerry Smartphones newbie questions: do I need it, and how I spoil my phone?

  My IT has already set up my phone to receive email from their Blackberry Enterprise Server.

  (1) do I still need to install the desktop software?  Given that I can transfer files via Bluetooth from my laptop and my contacts/calendar/notes are stored on the Exchange Server, is there any point?

  (2) if I do not need to install it, given that my email is already working with BES, and the Office installation configures email settings, how do I keep the new Desktop install to mess up the current configuration of e-mail?

  Of all the notes of support on the software, looks like more trouble whereas at this stage.  I really need to treat it?

  There is not much need of DTM, but it is convenient to update the OS of your BB. Sometimes there will be releases of minor bugs corrections and such to your BB - DTM will be meaningless and install them, while updating wireless could not detect them. For a major OS update, you want DTM, as it will do a backup/complete restoration of your BB, including configuration settings, and others so that you don't have to redo those. But, to your e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc. - you are right, it is useless given that your Exchange Server is actually your master with your BB being actually a backup of that (in a sense).

  In addition, USB drivers (which are part of the package DTM) are necessary in order to charge your BB via your laptop USB. You can download and install all the USB drivers if this is the only part of the DTM you want.

  When you install it, it will ask if you are in a company - say Yes and it will install properly. Installation when your PC is connected to your corporate network and your Outlook is open. Who will get the best and fastest configuration. When you install, do not let it select the functions of auto-launch... If you wish, attach your BB and manually run the DTM.

  Basically, on the whole, I vote 'YES'. You get the USB charging. You can save if you wish. You get the device OS and other updates. Most of the reported problems are people using it to synchronize via USB things - you won't do that because most of your stuff will be syncing via BES OTA. Other things, you can simply drag-and - drop (music, videos, etc.). .. .follow these instructions (use the latest 5.0 DTM):

  I just bought two s BlackBerry Curve 8530 from Sprint. I'm pretty tech savvy, but there are some things about this phone, I can just enter in two or three days I got em:

  Deleting photos: Well, then I'm in my media folder, in the images. I selects a photo and press the BlackBerry button and select Delete. Then he said: it is read-only, and when I remove it, the icon is still there. I tried to turn on/off the device, and it's still there. Thought this one myself. I plugged it up to the Desktop Manager and all of a sudden all the photos I had taken appeared. I was also able to delete using the "BlackBerry" button and then "delete". It doesn't give me that read this option.

  Saving images: So, for some reason I can't save more photos. I don't know even how I saved the first 12 photos I have taken... but now it won't save any more. What the hell happened? xD I have a 2GB card in my phone... surely these 12 images didn't fill in this card... Thought this one myself. I plugged it up to the Desktop Manager and all of a sudden all the photos I had taken appeared.

  There may be an icon on the home screen of your camera to buy ringtones. Or you can open the browser and go to http://mobile.blackberry.com. There is a link of ringtones that you can click

  If you select an icon, click the menu button and choose move. You can rearrange the icons. The icons in the top 5 on the list will be those along the boittom when not looking at the full home screen.

• Ideas for portable installation for cars?

  As some of you know, the wife and I recently bought 2 clips, where they will be used in a variety of portable applications, including in our cars.

  As they work in our cars, portable installation we use is not all that elegant.  We have all two VWs so space is at a premium, but I usually cut it attached on the right side more away from my rear view mirror.  It works pretty well, but the cable hanging in the main unit is looking rather dubious...

  I was wondering if there is a method or a product out there that could clean up a bit to the top of the installation.  Since we use the clips in a variety of locations, we are not really looking for a permanent or even installation permanent sem.  I looked at some of the media car locally and they are so huge in relation to the clip, I don't see that as a very good option...

  As you can see, I'm puzzled to find a better solution.  If anyone has a method that works, I'd like to hear about it!

  In my little VW, the ashtray is below the car radio (with a control line between) and is one great place to another an audio player with a minimum of cords dangling.

  You can place a Cup, with built-in CAP, in the Cup holder and place the Clip.  Or would the video clip to a part of the cupholder?

  You could also get a device of ventilation-mount holder, use it does not hold your Clip, but just cut your Clip.

  I wonder if there are cracks in your car you might slip a piece of plastic or metal L shaped in and then attach your Clip?  I know at least a manufacturer that sells kits like this, with instructions that are individualized for various models of cars.  (I would like to give you their name, but don't remember now, unfortunately).

  Finally, given the light clip character, would be a button velcro at the back of your Clip, plus a Velcro companion button whenever possible in your car, do the trick?  Usually, I do not think this, but the Clip is so light...

• When Windows starts it is always a dialogue box that flashes on the screen and the CPU usage high (above 50%), after I connect sometimes for several minutes.

  Original title: at the start of Windows there is always a dialogue box that flashes on the screen, but I've known idea what it is.

  How can I determine which program is using this dialog box? I also don't expect high utilization of the processor (over 50%) after that I connect sometimes for several minutes. I see not all applications running in the Task Manager. The amount of CPU utilization in the services tab doesn't match what I see compared to what the gadget is read in my sidebar. Any ideas?

  The thing of the cripping: the thing is, the updates are provided only by the suppliers (they get a barebone RIM OS, then add their stuff like facebook or AOL). Even if you buy a single "BOLD" without a contract, if you want to upgrade the regular way, you wait fot your carrier to publish the upgrade. Or you can do the regularly (which can be made with or without the purchase contract at the same time).
