NFL videos don't play in FireFox, but will be in IE

When I try to play a video from the websites of the NFL, all I get is a blank video display. Everything around him is, but there is no video. He played in IE9. I right click on the video in IE9, and he states that he uses NFLVideoPlayer 3.5 Build e930502. FireFox supports this video? How can I make it work?

I had the same problem, the only site that wouldn't play videos was vikings.com
Figured out finally that it was the donottrack plugin. Disabled and can now watch videos on vikings.com.Hope this help, it took me months to track him. Craig

  • I just downloaded the latest Windows updates, now online videos don't work on Firefox but on other browsers, does anyone else have this problem?

After that download the latest version of Windows Update, I found that I could not play videos on YouTube or other sites. Switching to other browsers I found that I could play these same videos now without any problems. So I did a system restore to determine if updates of Windows had hit video play using Firefox. The restore point has been updated with the day before the download of Windows has occurred. After System Restore has been completed I could now play videos using the Firefox browser.

To ensure that Windows Update has been the problem, I downloaded again the most recent Windows updates and once more could not play videos on any site using Firefox. System Restore has been used to put my computer on the eve again and once more the OE videos would play in the Firefox browser.

In fact, your answer took me in a different direction and I found this on the Adobe site:

The extension of RealPlayer for Firefox, the download and registration, has problems of compatibility with Flash Player 11.3. If RealPlayer is installed Flash Player content does not appear. YouTube provides an error message when you try to view a video.

To work around the problem, do the following:

       Start RealPlayer.

Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper-left corner and select Preferences.

Select Download & Recording in the left menu and deselect Enable Web Download & Recording for These Installed Browsers option.

Click OK and restart Mozilla Firefox.

Once I did this I could replay now videos in Firefox.

  • MP4 video does not play in Firefox 35.0.1

Some of my MP4 videos do not play in Firefox. They worked very well last week. Now, I get the message "Video cannot be played because the file is corrupted. The video works fine in IE, Chrome, Opera, Safari

I use Firefox with 4 profiles. One of them had problem work mp4. When I opened http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/videos/big_buck_bunny.mp4 mp4 it says "Video cannot be played because the file is corrupted.".

After I compared the two profiles prefs.js files, I saw that "media - media.windows - foundation.enabled" was false. I opened Subject: config and reset "media.windows - media - foundation.enabled. After restarting Firefox http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/videos/big_buck_bunny.mp4 works perfectly.

    Hello

Try a new installation of the plugin flash/ActiveX as follows.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

When the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

If the above is not correct the problem, try the following.

First of all, download and run the uninstall program of Shockwave on the link below.

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/Shockwave/Uninstall/Win/sw_uninstaller.exe

After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, download and install the latest version of Shockwave on the following link.

    http://get.Adobe.com/Shockwave/

Once again, after the installation, restart the laptop.

  • Freeze YouTube videos in full screen with Firefox, but not other browsers.

I had a hard time watching YouTube videos in Firefox in recent weeks. Basically, the video does not start and if I keep using small video player it works fine. But if I click on full screen, the video stops for a few seconds, then catch up and repeat this operation until the end of the video. However the sound plays always continuously throughout the video, even though the image is frozen. I don't have this problem in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, and it only happens on one of the three computers that I use Firefox on. I ran Malwarebytes Anti Malware, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Windows Defender full scans, so I'm fairly certain that it is not malware or a virus that is causing the problem.
I also tried the following without result: reset Firefox, Firefox run in SafeMode with no addons, reinstalling Firefox (more an another clean reinstall), reinstall Flash player

I can't understand what is wrong, and Firefox is my favorite browser, so any help would be appreciated.

Before restarting my OS in safe mode, I checked to see if I still had the problem and now he is gone magically. I did no change at all since yesterday when it was not working properly and now it's fine. Kind of strange. anyway thanks for your help, that's why I love Mozilla so.

  • Videos no longer play in Firefox

I am an avid Firefox user since about 2008, but my main browser on this laptop I've had for about 18 months.

A month ago, videos randomly stopped playing, I have the latest, most up-to-date browser adobe flash player and have tried everything on this page http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-common-audio-and-video-issues but nothing has not yet, it shows just a white screen on the videos and a play button on Youtube with no background

    Please notify

You can check the problems caused by a recent update of Flash 11.3 and possibly upgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

  • the videos do not work in Firefox, but work fine in windows Explorer. Why?

I tried to check my plugin and all are enabled. I found here where it was suggested to delete and reinstall Firefox, but that did not fix problem either. I tried to change the Viewer for video, but still no luck. Not sure why Quicktime does not work. Note that when browsing videos will not open, but everything else works fine. Videos work very well with windows explore, but not Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe or make changes.
  • Videos don't play do not

Currently, the videos seem to play in YouTube.

  • Videos don't play do not (including recorde Whatsapp, videos, Youtube, Twitter, etc) since the iOS 10 updading

From time to time, all types of videos would stop playing on my iPhone more including Photos videos 6s, Youtube, Twitter, Whatsapp and everywhere else. He would return to normal only with a reboot. Closing force all the apps won't help, switch networks, locking and unlocking or anything else. I have iOS 10.0.2 and all applications are updated.

    It's so boring please help!

    Hi there, Awartany_Dubai!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. I understand from your post that you have intermittent problems watching videos using various platforms (those you make on the phone itself, YouTube, Twitter, etc.). I watch a lot of videos on my iPhone, I'd be happy to help you!

Looks like you already have a few to start great troubleshooting steps. Since force close your applications, evolution of networks and rebooting did not help, I would recommend backing up your iPhone, and then reinstall your software iOS.

You can get the measures to save here: How to backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Once which is finished, use this article for instructions on reinstalling iOS: If you can not update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Even if the title of the article is not exactly specific to your problem, the steps under "putting your device in mode of recovery and put up again" will guide you in how to reinstall software iOS to help solve your problem with videos.

    See you soon!

  • YouTube videos don't play no not on Mozilla Firefox, but playing with Google Chrome for 2015-01-09

    Hi guys,.
Videos YouTube played very well in the morning, but stopped playing recently on my PC and laptop at the same time. I updated Firefox to version 34.0.5 and Adobe Flash player version 16.0.0.235, but that did not fix the problem. My Google Chrome still works fine with videos of youtube.
I have the following extensions on Firefox:

       AddBlock Plus 2.6.6
       Avast on-line security 10.0.2502.149
       Flshblock 1.5.18

    Any suggestions or ideas?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards
    Vladimir

You have Flashblock installed 1.5.18 on Firefox. Mozilla Firefox does not completely support HTML5 for YouTube Player. Your extension is blocking Flash Player, which in turn blocks YouTube videos.

You can use this page to see what your browser supports and pray the HTML5 YouTube Player: https://www.youtube.com/html5

  • What plugin should I use instead of Unity Web Player? Firefox you disabled due the vunerabilities but my videos don't play well.

Already reset Firefox, been restart Firefox at least twice a day. Now I see Unity Web Player has been disabled. So, what are you going to make us use instead of UWP?

I have updated Unity Player 4.3.7f1 after I noticed that a previous version, when I noticed that an earlier version of the unit has been disabled by Firefox. The entry for the plug-in has more red alert on the unit are disabled because it is dangerous, but it is also always never 'enable '.

How can I find out the current state of security safe/not of this plug in?

  • Youtube videos don't play Firefox after updating to 37.0.1.

After the update to 37.0.1 Youtube does not play videos. I have not installed Flash Player. Never done install. I have always used the Youtube HTML5 video player and everything was ok. Unfortunately until today when I installed Firefox 37.0.1. I tried to remove hisotry, cache etc completely, but it did not help.

It is to "year error occurred, please try again later"?

When you visit the YouTube HTML5 page, does show 5 6 functions with a blue checkmark box (all except the last one):

    https://www.YouTube.com/HTML5

On my Windows 7, if I "MSE & H.264" enabled, then YT fails on HTML5 and past Flash.

Could you try disabling a Firefox preference and then reload the YouTube page and see if she leaves?

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the media and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference media.mediasource.mp4.enabled to true to false

  • Why Divx won't play video with sound on Firefox, but will play with sound on Chrome?

DivX will play movies based on the web in both sound and audio on Chrome.

DivX will play only video on Firefox.

I've deleted and reinstalled Divx on my computer.

I have a desktop running Vista.

I just became aware of this problem yesterday. In the past, I got no problem to launch these videos on Firefox with the sound and video.

I had this problem with videos at home yesterday as well.

I've also seen this conversation http://veehd.com/forum/viewtopic?f=523714 and it may be a codec problem? No one has confirmed yet.

Please post back with your results, it might help other users!

  • No youtube videos play in Firefox, but I can play them using Safari and I have made no change in my system.

On November 29, 2012, I could no longer play youtube videos in Firefox. They play well in Safari. I have made no change in my system, Flash is up to date (and has been; this has not changed), and RealPlayer is not active. What can I do to fix this? One minute, he was working; the other, it wasn't.

    I have only one computer.

I have reset Firefox instead of making the diagnosis, which seems to have solved this problem, but now I have more Ad Block Plus. I can't wait to see what I have to do to get Firefox the way it worked before.

    Thank you.
