Nikon NX2 with Win 7 Home Premium software conflict

I installed Nikon NX2 software on my laptop HP G71-340US, Win 7 Home Premium edition, 64-bit and the program opens, the camera sees the laptop (I can even "go down" to the DMTC map and see the photo on the camera chip but will not automatically fill the transfer software to go from camera to the laptop (I can do it manually).)

I checked the compatibility of the program (defined on W7). uninstalled, even restore to an earlier point (cannot go back to an earlier date than the original installation).

I know that this is a conflict with this laptop that I installed the same software on another computer and it works fine.

Just puzzled as to look elsewhere, short total reinstall I would avoid as much as possible.

Hoping that someone out there has an idea or a solution.

Sincerely,

Bruce

    Hello

What follows is certainly not what you wanted to hear, but it is frank and honest.

There is no support for Windows 7 on your laptop. If you were able to get to the top and running, so you were lucky.

The only provided HP drivers and applications that are available for your laptop are for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You can try to install the Coolsense driver in compatibility mode, but there is absolutely no guarantee that it will work.

Just as it says on the download page of Coolsense, "this feature is available on mobile phones supported running a supported operating system." Unfortunately, your laptop is not grave in either categeory.

  • keyboard and the mouse do not work on the new computer with Win 7 Home Premium

I just bought a new computer game.  The keyboard and mouse work in BIOS.  But when win7 brings me to the first screen for all upward (which requires language and country options) both the keyboard and the mouse both stop working and their lights go out.  The mouse is a Razer Death Adder, who i saw possibly requiring drivers to be installed.  However, the keyboard is a 4000 ergonomic Microsoft natural and I expect that it works.  Can someone please help me get their work.  Any help is appreciated.

I had damaged USB drivers.  Technical support from the manufacturer did to be operational.  Thank you all.

  • Can I transfer a computer dead for a portable Win 7 Home premium OEM Windows XP?

I can only remote access / VPN my workplace of servers (Cisco), using XP & I can't download XP mode with Win 7 home premium. The XP box is dead since March, & it's the only way I can think to restore my ability to work from home.

How is it, you can only use Windows XP to access the VPN?  Cisco came out with Windows 7 and 64-bit software customers just now because so many people had the complaint of the old clients did not work.

Anyway - OEM licenses are tied to the first machine that they were installed on.  Regardless if this machine was used in a shooting Skeet or succumbs to a natural death, according to the agreement, if the original machine dies (cannot be retrieved), then the license also dies.

I watch (or find work to examine) get the latest version of the Cisco (5.0.07.0290) client, if that is the question.  Or you can locate an unused OEM or an unused license Windows XP retail and use VirtualBox to make a virtual machine on Windows 7.

then, there are solutions for this problem?

    Clear Hello Moon,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Forum.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. If you have recently reinstalled the operating system?
    2. Did you do last changes made on your computer before the show?

Try it out below mentioned methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest to refer to the link below and run the troubleshooting in construction tool and check if it works for you. You can also refer to different steps.

Tips for solving common driver problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/tips-for-fixing-common-driver-problems

    Method 2:

Start the computer in the Advanced Startup Options and disable the driver signing verification.

The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting mode.
Restart your computer. As soon as the boot process starts you hear a beep, start pressing F8 on your keyboard. Instead of loading normal Windows, Windows Advanced Options appears.

Select this to disable driver signature enforcement and check with the question. This allows drivers containing a bad signatures must be installed.

See this link to start advanced boot option:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Method 3

Now if you're talking about drivers then you can follow the steps described in the following Microsoft article and see if it helps to update the drivers.

    Update drivers: recommended links

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

  • Qosmio X 500 - 10W: old software with Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hello

First excuse my bad English, I'm french.

    A month ago, I bought an X 500 - 10W.

I would like to re - install two old games that turned on my satellite M30-104 with windows Xp.

I just can not install those on the Qosmio that works with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, even if I use the compatibility mode.

Is there a way to make these ancient works of software?

I found the virtual computer (for windows Xp mode), but it only works with Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate.

    Thanks for your replies.

This with virtual PC is good idea and you should get the right version.
I mean if you have games that are designed for Windows XP Home edition, then you know that this will not work on the new operating system to Win7.

Best application virtualization for me without a doubt is VMware Workstation > http://www.vmware.com/

  • How can I replace the corrupted Win 7 Home Premium on my G71 with Win 7 Pro?

The Win 7 Home Premium OS came with my Pavilion G71-340US laptop is damaged and must be reinstalled. Rather than reinstall Win 7 Home Premium, I want to install Win 7 Professional - I bought. I have Win 7 Home Premium recovery disks, when I came to the computer. The professional Win 7 I like an installation disk (.) ISO file).

What is the best way to do it? I can just do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro? If so, how to install the drivers for the laptop? I searched the knowledge base information, but could not find anything on a Win 7 reinstall / update. Thank you.

All of your drivers must be posted on your support page of models which can be found by clicking on the link titled 'Support' at the top of this page. You will need to "full" (not only G71) model number or product number as indicated on the attached at the bottom of the laptop Service tag, can be under the battery. You can also get the info by pressing the FN and ESC together.

To install Windows 7 Pro read the article here. Page 9-15 including explain removal of partitions for a new installation of Windows on:

  • problem with upgrade from xp to win 7 Home premium

After an update from xp to win 7 home premium and unable to play games, I found that xp and win 7 Home premium are not compatible. Is it possible to install vista (well that it may not be registered on this pc because I will only be borrow) then directly upgrade to win 7 Home premium?

Have you tried to install the games in Mode "compatibility"?

    What is program compatibility?
Program compatibility is a mode in Windows that allows you to run programs written
for earlier versions of Windows. Most programs written for Windows Vista are also running Windows 7,
but some older programs might run poorly or not at all.

  • Vista Business - > Win 7 Home Premium upgrade does not work with my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disc

I bought a Windows 7 upgrade for $99 at Dell when I bought a new computer Win 7 and am finally getting around to upgrading my Vista Business.  The reason for road upgrading rather than clean install was to avoid reinstalling all applications, a major, major time sink, even if I find all the drives in application.  Is the upgrade to Win 7 Home Premium.

After starting the upgrade, he stopped, telling me that I can only switch to Win 7 Pro, Ultimate or enterprise. For the upgrade to proceed, told me that he needed a clean installation and that I would then have to re - install all the applications.  I looked on the Microsoft site, trying to find how to set my Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc, but I have been unable to find how this could be done after through many convolutions of web pages.

Could someone tell me please how to put my Win 7 Home Premium Upgrade disk to a Windows 7 Pro upgrade disc?

Thank you very kindly for any response.

I guess it depends on what side of the coin of your on. If someone bought the Windows 7 Pro upgrade, whereas they would have only a single lane of evolution, which is the more common scenario.

I have a R630 - 11L. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium. Now, I need to change the profession in order to run competible XP software. My question is that when I install Win 7 Professional, it will install the necessary drivers by itself or will I have to find and install all the drivers of devices one by one? I have recovery media, but I couldn't find the drivers inside? Any idea?

    Thank you

Recovery image is a large package which includes the operating system, all necessary drivers, Toshiba tools and utilities and some additional software. This is the package and you can not use some simple components such as drivers or anything else.

If you install own OS, you must install all the necessary drivers also one by one. Please visit the Toshiba download page and check what is available there.
