  transfer photos from ipad to mac. everything is good. photos in the photo library. Once I have transferred the library on a drive external hard, in case of an attempt to open it, gives me the following message is displayed. "the library could not be opened. pictures has tried to fix the 'photos' library but is unable to open it.   No - you don't have a problem with Photos - you have a problem of format hard drive - library pictures are used on a drive as Mac OS extended (journaled) dierectly linked to a fast wired connection and not used as a Time Machine backup volume

• HP C309g - m 3-in-1 printer Photo - problem of re - load software

  I'm on Windows 8;  I used this same photo printer 3 in 1 HP C309g-m on an older system of Windows 7.  I was able to use this printer for a year and so far this week, I had no problem.  I can print documents, but for now, I am unable to open the HP Solution Center to scan documents or images.   I don't remember if I had installed something new before you have problems.

  I restarted my laptop and printer, the error message reappears (unfortunately, I capture a screenshot of the error message).  I decided to uninstall/reinstall the software.  The uninstall appeared to go smoothly (I don't, however, have uninstalled the primary software first), so I put the software CD reinstall the drivers/software.   There is no option to install the software, only one option 'leave' (screen attached).

  

  I went to the HP support and downloaded the HP Print and Scan doctor.  I also used the HP printer install wizard for Windows.  Both seemed to work without a hitch.  The same HP C309g printer installation window came to download the software and drivers.  The download went through the entire process.  When I clicked on 'Finish', a time error msg (screen attached).

  

  On a previous Help topic, it is suggested to download CCleaner - I decided to do it, but I don't want to change my browser in Exchange by using the tool, so I cancelled the download.

  Here is the screenshot of my program list that shows there is "empty" remains of the downloaded software previously.  As you can see, the only software that today is a result of reinstalling is the HP Photo Creations & support Solutions Framework.

  Your very informative post, I see that the Photosmart C309g software gives you a very difficult period, do not install it and allow you to analyze.

  I would suggest a few steps which I think will be very useful.

  • * If you use a USB cable to connect the printer, disconnect it.* *.
  • Since the Office Windows and R key on the keyboard
  • Type %temp%, press ENTER> last 7z Ouvrezledossier > Util> CCC
  • Run the L3 uninstall and restart the computer
  • Disable your antivirus / firewall.
  • Open the folder %temp% again, this time hit CTRL A to select all and delete the contents of this folder.
  • Disable start-up items; Windows key and R and then type msconfig. Click Start and disabled all the, and then click Services, hide all Microsoft and disable these institutions.
  • Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player: Adobe Flash Player
  • Restart the computer and try to install, HP Photosmart Premium C309 all-in-One series full feature software and driver.

  Let me know if it has things working again.

  I have vista Home Version on my computer compaq laptop.  The photo program I've always used is Microsoft Digital Image 2006.  I can't download my camera directly to this program.  I used to have Windows XP and had no problems.  It is not compatible?  If this is not the case, can what program I get that I can load photos, difficulty, add titles and make the DVD as a slideshow with music?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook photo problem

  My wife is a 9810 torch which began to hang and I updated its software for os 7.1. Now facebook mobile site doesn't show any photo/picture and says it's a fb without version photo. I got the software again and it does the same thing. FB uninstalled and reinstalled and it remains the same. Can someone please help.

  Hi again... I found the solution to my problem... The user of the file was hidden...

  Solution through PC... Connect your BB to your computer and use it as a USB key. Click on the Blackberry as an external hard drive and make sure that, under the folder HOME USER folder is not hidden. (click right properties and change the attribute is not hidden)

• B210 Photo problem

  Print photo B210A.  I have a black streak very short horizinatal on a photo 4 x 6, approximately 3/4 in side left and then to about 1/2 in towards the Center.  This takes place about 1 1/2 in. high.  He once again repeat vertically from 3/4, twice to the bottom of the photo, and then disappeared.  There is a second weak point on the right edge even with the first and about 3/8 in. from the edge.  He doesn't have a problem with standard paper.  Seems to be a problem of roll, but where and how do to it to clean.

  After trying to clean all the different rolls, which you are unable to I am sure I have found/solved the problem.  Finally, I removed the ink cartridges and then the printhead.  There is cacked of black ink on the bottom and lower edges.  After that I have all this carefully cleaned, I could print a photo 4 x 6 white and not WOW no black ink as described in my initial post.  There has never been a problem with standard paper, while the photo paper is fed to be printed it should initially arch up against the print head.  Frustration more! I hope.

• Get Photos problem

  I just scanned a few old photos n & B in my library Windows. However a problem when they are put in PSE11.

  They are all good pictures and appear perfect in the Get Photos and videos of files and folders, but when I click on get the media, they are completely black in the Organizer.

  Have done about 30 photos and 12 are black. Have tried to remove them from the organizer and repeating the process, same result.

  All of the suggestions.

• Order sorting photos problem

  In the Photos, I want my photos appear in order of date/time taken, regardless of whether they have been taken on my camera or iPhone, but they are grouped (by order) depending on what device, they were taken.  Can anyone help please?

  In the view of Photos, they are sorted by date taken and grouped by the date.  In view of all the Photos, they are sorted by date added to the library with more recent photos at the bottom.

  However for a simple view of only the photos you want to create a smart album with the following criteria:

  

  Select a date that will precede all your photos. This includes automatically all in the library and all-new photos added.

  Then use the discover ➙ sort menu to sort by Date taken with the oldest or most recent at the top:

  

  

• PHOTO PROBLEM

  Hi all, still waiting for a response to my question. I have a load pictures on my Amazon cloud, which I access from my laptop. I want to copy these photos (MUCH) to my iCloud, which I also access from my laptop. I don't want to use other devices, just my laptop.

  I thought it would be simple enough, but obviously not. Ideas please, much appreciated.

  Other than to download them to your Amazon cloud service and then transferring to the iCloud Apple, no service.

  Who did you ask? Amazon?

  Why do you do this? iCloud is maybe not the best option for you.

• Organize photos problems

  I have photos of the different versions of iPhoto, Picasa and Kodak EasyShare scattered on my main drive and 4 external drives. When I went all together in one place I just disorder. It seems that my Mac (OS Mavericks) cannot handle large masses of photos. It can transfer small batches but I tried Lightroom, Picasa, ACDSee and some others, and they all start and then choke. Finally, I used the Finder to search for all jpg files and then I could only drag small batches. It would take much time to spend it.

  I was thinking something like rsync could cover all of my hard drives and do drink

  t I think that will transfer only a whole folder not many files in many different places? I'm not good at the terminal commands.

  Any help out there?

  For sure the issue is not the operating system - Maverick can handle a large number of photos very well - since you do not inform my guess is the lack of free disk space

  Is OS X 10.9.5 as you say correct for your OS? What version of iPhoto? It should be 9.5.1

  How much free disk space you have on your hard drive?

  This can be quite lengthy so bear with me...  I have 80 + GB of photos and video in the cloud. And on my computer, the discrpeen is between my phone and plateau. On the phone, it shows 20.1 concert but on the pavement, I show only 2 gig with a double ferocity of 300 + photo County but the same number of videos. No idea why the difference and what I can do to make things.

  What are your parameters to iCloud and iCloud on Mac and on every IOS device status and what is the number of photo and video (not size) on each device

• Import with Photos problem

  Looking for a direction on why I get following error when you try to import photos g:

  Database, error: could not persist version

  I can import fine in iPhotos app but do not know why I can not download pictures from iPhone/Pad on my Mac Book. Have not been able to do for a while now...

  Apart from anything else, you need to update Photos to version 1.5. He piled up the many bugs and added new features.

• iPhone photo problem

  I made the mistake of using one of these dime-store Chargers to recharge my iPhone at work one day. The phone has only connected to the charger for a minute or two, when I noticed that he has changed a bunch of settings on the iPhone. I was able to change most of their return. One, I can't. It now takes pictures in black and white. (itwill take a photo color in mode 'square'). I can't find a way so he could take pictures in color when on the normative action of the Photo.

  When you are in ordinary Photo mode, press the three points at the bottom right and then press the mean square (none) to remove the filter.

  Note: If the points are colored on a particular vision, it means that a filter is enabled. If they are black, white and gray, that means there is no filter enabled for this view.

• Update the images download Photos problems after 30 December 15

  "Of the photos' on my iMac now won't download pictures from my sandisk memory card, after the update today 30 Dec 15.  Please can someone advise/help?  I tried pictures, then re-opening, closing, but all that happens is very briefly the memory card appears as if the download, then 'photos' back to my library of images.

  What OS do you have? What photo software?

  The memory card moved to the finder? If so, use the finder to get the photos off the card and import them - and then reformat the card
