You should then be able to attach the entire document to an email, depending on the size of the file, and the size of an attachment is supported in your e-mail program.

  I'm sorry to hear that the problem persists and that none of troubleshooting was able to solve it. Looks like the scanner bulb has developed a problem with this printer at this point. If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out.   This has been fixed by a HP escalation Manager today!

  I restart my printer and it will not scan. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Previously, before I had scanning problems, my wireless on my printer button was flashing and I couldn't print wireless. I uninstalled the software from my laptop and remove the printer.   After you download the HP driver online once again, I went to HP utility (I had to add my printer again going up in system preferences > Add button > IP and enter my IP address).

  In the HP utility I cliked the name of my printer under devices, then on the right side I cliked the additional settings under settings of the printer.

  Then, I clicked on the embedded Web Server Open button.

  My web browser opens and it is the HP embedded Web server for my printer. I clicked the Scan button and the scanned image.

  You will then need to right click to save the image, and it allows to print wireless.

  So after a few days of trial and error my scanning has been fixed.

  I can finally AirPrint. When you sent the message on the router, it reminded me to update the firmware. I've updated to the latest firmware of the router, reset the printer and my iPhone, and it finally showed up.

  Just installed a new print 60xl cartridge to replace the one that was being ink. Now the black ink basically does not print. I cleaned the cartridges 4 times and run all Diagnostics pages. The black prints just a small piece of the upper part of the letters on the pages of diagnostics and in grayscale on the test pages.

  Since you bought the cartridge hp shopping that I recommend that you only click on the link at the top of this page titled "Ink & toner.  Go ahead and find your cartridge and put in your cart.

  You will then see an option at the bottom of the page with a photo of a young woman with a helmet on.  You can click this help and either chat or ask for a phone call.

  HP.shopping should be able to arrange a refund or Exchange.

  I got a new Photosmart 6510 all-in-one printer. I have the ability to scan to a .jpg file ot a .tiff or a .pdf file - just like the pictures, no form of text that can be edited. On my old photosmart printer (a 2572) I was able to analyze OCR allows you to place the scanned document in a file with the Edition of the text, how can I do that with this new printer? I thought I was adding features, do not remove them. I use the 6510 wireless on a home network. I am also on the Windows Vista system.

  Software OCR Iris didn't come included with this printer. If you have OCR software installed on your computer, you should be able to scan using this program. If you do not have an OCR program installed you can check the link below.
