no access to my javascript after window.location code
Hello
I work with Webworks 2.0. I installed my project, do things in index.html (javascript inline code) and then I use window.location to a link where is another web app I need to show in my blackberry app.
After window.location, the code in the index.html file no longer works. Is it possible to use window.location and continue to use the code in the index.html file? (imagine that there is there any code to handle notifications of type push for example)
New value window.location move you to the next page. You must have a file/code js well be included. Your source code for index.html will not be available here.

Deny access to files restored after Windows 7 clean installation of Vista
I have an external hard drive on which I saved my windows backup files. After you perform a clean installation of Windows 7 (in order to minimize any problems!) I restored my data files, but now I get the message "Access denied" when I try to open more (but not all the files), I spent at properties-security-advanced options to right click tab and tried to enable permissions, but it did not always work.
I am logged on as administrator, and one of the strange things is I see four entries under the heading "power entities. Also, when I downloaded and installed iTunes, it installed, but you try to start the program I got the message "access denied." This happens with any of my other programs (can open the program, but not a file) and I just can't understand what can do. Help, please!
You must 'Take Ownership' if the files and folders. Type that in Windows 7 help... If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you! My Blog

Display driver stops after windows starts (code 43)
I bought the Pavilion 17 - f002sm and instaled Windows 8.1 on it... and now, every time I start the computer, Device Manager indicates that the display driver has collapsed because it reports an error (code 43)... Please help me because im going out of my mind with that! I downloaded the driver from this site, I got this error, and on the site of AMD, he had the same problem... is the graphics card AMD RADEON R7 M260... in the Device Manager I have an another display driver - Microsoft Basic display adapter, I thik these two are in conflict... I don't know...?
And another question, is possible to install windows 7 to this laptop? In the store guy told me that it is not possible, but I am skeptical
Thank you!
Hei.
Thaks for the advice... I solved the problem... it wasn't easy... first I had to reinstall windows 8, first I had to install radeon r5 and then I had to install r7 if I wanted it to work... I used the everest program to search for info on the device and searching the Internet for drivers... so it was a nightmare to find the druver wireless... I hope that you will download the real drivers for this laptop on your site...

Lose the ability to access Internet after Windows updates published in the last 24 hours
I lose the internet connection if I install the Windows updates published in the last 24 hours. I have had access to the internet after restoring to a restore point. I was able to recreate this problem be reinstall them again.
Update the example is KB2121546
Manually install a - alone.Reset.Still have Internet?Manually install the next one, one.Reset.Still have Internet?Repeat this until you lose Internet or have installed all updates - what comes first. If you lose Internet - uninstall that one and install all others (using the same one at a time - at the most method you will have 8-9 for this cycle) then come here and let everyone know what update was kill your Internet connection.Why? An update of the example is of no help. There are 9 updates you could possibly have * if * you were aware through yesterday. Knowing the SPECIFIC update that is causing your problem would be better for you and those who help you.

Mailto PL/SQL block with window.location.href
Hello, everyone!
I was pulling on my hair for the last two days and would like to ask your help, please. So far, for the life of me, I can't get the value of a variable to pass into the body of the email.
I have a main page of the APEX (3). By clicking on the button Add will call a JavaScript to open a modal window (page 260). Page 260, based on values of selected drop-down list, when the user clicks a button Save to save this file, I would call a MAILTO to open an Outlook email with some information in the subject line and body.
On page 260, I incorporate this new addition in an existing branch on submit: after 'treatment' (for PL/SQL procedure):
DECLARE
v_emp_count varchar (20);
BEGIN
SELECT COUNT (*)
IN v_emp_count
EMP;
HTP.p ("< body > '");
HTP.p ("< script type =" text/javascript "> '");
HTP.p ("var obj = new Object();'");
HTP.p ("obj.saved =" Y";");)
HTP.p ('window.returnValue = obj ;');)
HTP.p ('window.location.href = "mailto:[email protected]? subject = good day. & body = Count is ' + v_emp_count +' ;'); )
HTP.p('window.) Close (this);') ;
HTP.p ("< /script >" ");
HTP.p ("< /body >" ");
END;
The code above gives me now "error processing creates a branch. ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character conversion error number. »
When I got an alert in there, the alert line seems to work very well- htp.p (' alert ("v_emp_count is ' | v_emp_count |' number.)) ") ;") ;
260 page contains all the data I want to include in the body of the email. My plan is just to get a value (from the SELECT statement) to present and get the workflow first working.
I could get the Outlook e-mail window opens with this line, but I would like to get a value for the SELECT statement is displayed.
HTP.p ('window.location.href = "mailto:[email protected]? subject = good day. & body = project is & P260_INSP_STATUS_IND. ' ;'); )
I tried different ways, trying to get the SELECT variable appears in the body of the email. No luck so far. :-(
Help, please!
Thank you!!!
Are you having problems with quotes and concatenation? Try this
HTP.p ('window.location.href = "mailto:[email protected]?") subject = good day. & Body = Count is ' | v_emp_count: ' "(;');"

not quite sure of your question. But try this: goto options-> applications-> scroll down to the bottom and thin "mailto", change it to any application you want, or 'always ask '.
BTW, I've attached a picture below to indicate its location.

In Firefox, version prior to 35.0 window.location returned decoded hooks (e.g.: http://example.org/something[values]) as all other browsers we support for our Web site. In Firefox 35.0 and 35.0.1, hooks are encoded (http://example.org/something%5Bvalues%5D). Is this change is voluntary or is this a bug as a side effect of something?
We use Sammy.js to create courses for access to the different pages of the Web site, and some roads are broken since version 35 because the hooks are not more detected by sammy. We can modify the library to decode the URI before the comparison, but I'd rather avoid making changes to an external library.
I found looking for bugs for Firefox, it has been fixed in Firefox 36 or more.

Problems after Windows Update on Vista wireless
It seems that other people have a similar problem, but I'll post this new...
I've been running Windows Vista Ultimate on my Toshiba laptop for years without any problems. Earlier this year, I started seeing issues after Windows updates. The main problem is that after updates Windows, my wireless network is is more noticed and the wireless card (which was installed on the computer, and never had problems before) is not recognized. I manually installed updated drivers with no luck. The only thing that has worked is to do a system restore to a point before the updates. The problem seems to be related to an update in general, I can't uninstall.I find it extremely ironic that I have no problems with Vista until Windows 7 is launched. First of all, it's the wireless card, then a problem with a driver graphics card (apparently... which seems to be fixed now) and return to the wireless card. Should I expect to continue to have problems unless I upgrade to Windows 7? I can't continue to spend half of my day trying to fix my computer after an update that is supposed to fix the errors, but I don't like the feeling that I am forced to upgrade.
Hi dabaum77,From your post, it seems that the issue was occurring when Windows updates are installed automatically again even after the restoration of the system and that is why I suggest to restore the system again to a point before the updates and download and install Windows updates manually.
Access the link belowhttp://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/system-restore-frequently-asked-questionsFollow these steps to disable the automatic updates:1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.2. in the left pane, click on change settings.3. under important updates, choose the option you want.4. under recommended updates, select the Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates check box, and then click OK. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Install the updates one by one and check the update is causing the problem to occur. If the problem persists due to a particular update, repeat the process and refrain from settling the problem causing the update to.
You can also check the update problem in Windows Update history.Follow the steps to check which day caused the issue:
1. open the control panel (all items view), and click the Windows Update icon.
2. click on the link to view update history.
3. to view the details of a single Windows Update-
(A) select and right-click on a Windows Update list, and then click details.
(B) click on close when finished.You can also uninstall the update that is causing the problem to occur, although it is not recommended.1. to uninstall a Windows Update, you must go to programs and features. There are several ways to find it. One of the simplest is to use the search box on the start menu.2. in the programs and features, click the link updates installed.3. after a few seconds, Windows Vista will load the list of installed updates. Scroll down the page until you find the update you want to delete, select it with the mouse and then click on uninstall.4. Windows Vista will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall the update you selected. Click Yes and the uninstall process will begin.5 depending on the size of the update, the uninstall process may take from several seconds to several minutes.
6. wait for the window above will disappear and, if necessary, restart your PC. The update is now deleted.

Original title: restore access to My Documents after reinstalling XP
Recently, I acquired a virus with which Microsoft Security Essentials could not cope. Then one day the computer refused to start. I wrongly assumed that my hard drive was dead, so I installed a new HD and reinstalled Windows XP. [Actually, I first tried the upgrade to Windows 7, because program upgrade windows 7 Microsoft has already said that my computer was compatible... but Windows 7 disk says otherwise!] Then I tried to install the HD original in an another drive Bay and discovered it still worked, but I could not boot from it. Apparently, the virus has killed the OS (Windows XP) but my files, programs and documents are still there. The problem is that when I try to access my old "My Documents" folder, I get the message: 'access denied '. I believe that this is because the files are stored in a password protected user account. I know the password, but I do not know how to access the files.
I tried to create a user account on my new HD (with the operating system Windows XP reinstalled) with the same name and the password that I used on my original (with the Windows operating system XP corrupted) HD to create all the document files. However, opening a session with this account name and password did NOT restore my access to the My Documents folder on my original hard drive.
I'm out of ideas. Help, please!

Here's how to use startup repair system restore command prompt, etc. to bleepingcomputers link below
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
to boot from the dvd drive to be able to you will see a way to get into the bios Setup at the bottom of the screen or command menu start
It would be F2 or delete etc to enter the BIOS or F12 etc. for the start menu
Change boot order it do dvd drive 1st in the boot order
If you can make the above change how you receive updates to find the update problem
When right-clicking on it UAC prompt you hide it
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial140.html
Choose one of these settings:
Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.
Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

mobile jQuery and window.location.hash broken?
Now that I finally got the app to work on my handheld I seem to have run smack into a new problem and it is this change in the 'page' in mobile jquery using window.location.hash seems to be broken.
I have my entire application is setup within a html file using the architecture of several page mobile jquery where each 'page' is really just a div. On one page, I have a link like this Setup.
link
the javascript method only certain logic and determines which page to see the next. the href = "" is there just the cursor to turn to a helping hand. " Disconnected did not make a difference in this problem, so I don't think that is the question. (yes I know there is a style that can do the same thing, but it works and I did not had the time to find it)
That the method performs a bit of logic, including a DB query and other stuff, but even the kidnapping all downwards to the trivial case like this, still does not change the target page.
function showNewPage() { window.location.hash = "#newpage"; alert("setting hash!"); }
I see the alert fine. Now, it works the same on both devices and ripple, (which means that it does not change the current view), but I think that should be! When I did the initial test in Chrome, but not using ripple, this technique worked and the pages successfully changed, so my logic any app is based on that. No idea what is the problem? Is this a bug?
