No Bluetooth settings

Hello!

I have 8 Windows Tablet feeds and also bought a Bluetooth keyboard. He connected immeidately without any problem. Now, three days later, all of a sudden the keyboard no longer works, and the bluetooth settings have completely disappeared! Even the search for "Bluetooth" does not reveal anything. I did not remove anything, but he did run an update (for Bitdefender).

Help please!

  • Bluetooth settings went on my Satellite C50-A-19U

    Hi you all,.

the bluetooth settings in the Windows settings on my laptop Toshiba Satellite C50-A-19U have completely disappeared. I can't connect to one of my bluetooth devices more. I have installed drivers (News), has been in contact with Microsoft forum (answers.microsoft.com...), nothing brought the parameters so far.

Everyone recognizes this problem or knows how to solve? Or what information you need to help me with this problem?

Your help and your suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance!

    Friend, DUT Twente!

Guess what? Try reinstalling the packet filter for the Atheros BT driver and the driver of the system Toshiba.

The laptop was equipped with Wlan / BT Atheros WB335 module.
For BT work (running Win 8 / 8.1) you must install the software items mentioned:

    • Packet filter for the Atheros BT driver
    • Toshiba system driver.
  • Bluetooth settings lost on the Satellite L850D - 12 p

I seem to have 'lost' my Bluetooth settings, including the icon at the bottom of the screen.
I tried to download a driver, but I'm not sure I have the right pair.

I downloaded the driver Package version Realtek Bluetooth filter 12.28.2013.0912 81.5 MB. I previously had access to Bluetooth and used it without any problems, but I obviously he messed up by deleting the program and trying to re install.

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

    Could you give some information?

    (1) what model of laptop do you have exactly?
    (2) what system is preinstalled on your laptop?
    (3) have you already activated BT using the function keys?

    Your comments would be appreciated.

  • Could not open the Bluetooth settings HP DV8T-1000

    I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

I have the HP DV8T-1000 with built-in bluetooth.

Software for bluetooth in installed (actually I uninstalled and reinstalled).  Everything said "the device is working properly" However if I right click on the bluetooth icon, and then click "open bluetooth settings" nothing happens.

When I click on see bluetooth devices we just search forever and can't find anything.

When I click on add a device, he never finds my Motorola S305 headset detectable.

I checked on the HP site and I have the latest drivers installed.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  I think if I could get in the bluetooth settings, maybe I could solve the problem. Who knows.

  • Satellite P L50 - B - 1 1-Bluetooth settings disappeared

    Fairly new laptop computers.
The bluetooth was working fine, then I realized one day that he was not there.

Unable to access all the settings for it.

Have tried to change the bluetooth support service to automatic options, through the menu services.msc.

    Anyone have any ideas?

What Windows system do you use?
Have you tried to activate the WiFi using the Toshiba function key?
It s the same key that is used to enable and disable the Wifi

However, if you have already tried allow BT using the function key a dif, it did not work, so I recommend you to reinstall the driver Package to filter Bluetooth Intel and the Intel Wireless Lan Driver
The two drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba UE driver page.

Laptop was equipped with the Intel WLan/BT combo card and therefore its recommended to update the driver in case there is some kind of problem of BT.

  • I never put a password on my bluetooth settings and when I try to connect my laptop to my computer it asks an authentication key that I don't know.

is there a predefined access key and how do I know. I use never only 1 password and it does not work, but since my computer is new, maybe there is a predefined access key?

    Hi arood511,

Most devices allow you to choose your own password, or you can use a password that is generated by Windows. To make Windows generate a passkey for you, run theAdd Bluetooth device Wizard; otherwise, contact the manufacturer of the device. Note that some devices use "0000" or "0001" as a password.

    Hardware - iPhone 5s (32 GB/ATT), iOS 9.3.2

    Hi a. Heimert,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I can see your post when you try to open the settings > Bluetooth, the settings app unexpectedly quits on you. I know it's nice to be able to additional pair to iPhone devices. I will be happy to provide information on this.

Thank you for all the steps you made, that helps us a lot. What we want to do is to reset all settings.  This removes any data, but he'll get over things like settings, settings VPN, layout screen, Wi - Fi password, etc..

To do the reset go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.  Test and see if it is working as it normally should.

Based on your post, I see that you did do a restore. If the steps above did not work, and restoring you have already done from a backup, then the next step would be to make sure you have a recent backup, and then restore it to the factory and parameters established as new instead of restoring a backup.

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Once you set it up as news, please go ahead and test the Bluetooth settings and see how it behaves now. If the settings app opens ok, you can add the backup turn it back on for the iPhone, and then test the application again. If the settings app continues to unexpectedly quit, then we would know that there is something in the backup that is the cause to happen.

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    Have a great day!

  • My Mic Bluetooth disconnects when I close the window settings Bluetooth =)

    Hello Microsoft =)

For some strange reason, which I do not know... whenever I close my Bluetooth settings... window my micro disconnects-_ -

My adapter had windows 7 find it of own drivers... you know, plug & play. So it's using the basic drivers... which is fine. the meaning of the use of does ' t Bluetooth adapter it's own software. So I'll tell you exactly what I'm doing...

First... I take my Bluetooth headset... Secondly, I right click on the Bluetooth icon in the status bar. Then I click on show settings. Then I click on the Audio tab, go to my bluetooth headset in the list... Highlight it... and I click on connect... 3 or 6 seconds... wa... connected. now I have a... OK button and a Cancel button. I click ok and my Bluetooth headset will beep... I will come back and it is disconnected = (I also on Skype or any other audio software like that... and it won't work. no sound of it. of course.)

Thank you, Kim. Of course, this problem has been occurring for some time in Windows 7 and continues to persist to this day. I tried your above corrections, and the first didn't work. However, I changed the Startup Type to automatic as you suggest. It doesn't have an effect at first. Your second explanation does not specify which Bluetooth driver to uninstall. So, I tried to remove the headset from the list of devices, put it back. My sound settings configuration has not changed, and the helmet device was still attached to the default playback and recording device, it was when I first set up the bluetooth headset. When I reinstalled the helmet, it connected automatically this time without having to open the checking of helmet and do it manually. Before I followed these steps, it wouldn't connect and the headset is not found in the sound control window. I had to open the box to control the headset and connect manually. Then, when I was closing the command window, the headset to disconnect, and it disappears from the sound settings window. Now, it connects just when I turn on the headset and put in Bluetooth mode. So, my suggestion for someone else who has this problem would be to follow step 1, and then lift the helmet of devices, then add it to devices. Then restart the computer, and it should work. It did for me. Thank you!
