  Your question is not very clear to understand.

  If Vista is preinstalled on your laptop, this product key is NOT for Windows 7.

  There is a free upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 years, but that offer expired for a long time.

  How does the Windows 7 upgrade Option?

  The Windows 7 upgrade Option is available through participating PC manufacturers on some PC and Microsoft on any purchase of packaged product Windows Vista. The Windows 7 upgrade Option applies to Windows Vista Home Premium, Business and Ultimate editions.   If you have a retail version of Windows 7, then it is more than likely came with discs both 64-bit and 32-bit. In this case, boot from the 32-bit disk and do a clean install.

  If the 64-bit version has been pre-installed, then you need to contact Acer to see if they have a 32-bit recovery disc.

  Unfortunately, after looking for HP Support and drivers; I found 11 products part of the major HP G56 series - however after viewing each of them - all models had drivers for Windows 7. and some even had for Windows XP - BUT there is no Windows Vista drivers for one of the 11 models.

  However, Windows Vista is a bit like Windows 7; and although I've never tested Windows 7 drivers MAY work correctly for Windows Vista.

  Download Windows 7 Bluetooth drivers and try to install.

  Do you have you format the drive and installed Windows Vista?
