  The instructions below were provided by HP support.  This has restored the function on the keyboard volume controls.  The referenced below drivers are drivers IDT high definition Audio Device.  I am not sure that it was necessary to reinstall the audio drivers.  It can only had to remove the USB dongle and back to restore the functionality of the button.  Note: the USB dongle is located behind the VESA Panel to the back of the PC.  No tools are required and the dongle can be removed and replaced without shutting down the PC.  VESA panel removal requires a bit of a steady hand, pulling the lip which is close to the connections on the rear panel.

  (1) I wan't make a full screen videoplayer who listens to the keyboard and playing a video on demand. I won't be using the menus or buttons on the screen.

  It should work almost like a video DJ app or an audio sampleplayer but for video. Then; When I press one of the 10 keys may be the corresponding clip should be played.

  I intend to run it locally using Flash player so not a browser or the internet so I'm not really limited by the bandwidth. I'm on the Flash CS4 Professional.

  I have a Tecra S2 with the following specifications:

  1 GB OF RAM
  GB of Nvidia 6600

  Software:
  Operating system recovery cd
  MS Office
  Norton Internet security
  Logitec Webcam drivers
  Sync Nokia Software
  (all updates made)

  When I play Battlefield 1942 or watching DVDs, the laptop fails. The screen freezes just after playing for a while. Nothing works anymore but the reboot of the computer (with prolonged pressure on the power button). While I can play before the crash varies from 1 to 30 (+) minutes. It happens with battery and AC power (with and without the battery).

  I tried to disable the sound card in the hardware Manager. I have disabled all programs beginning on startup with msconfig. I reinstalled the drivers of graphics (Toshiba download). I played a bit with the resolutions and other graphic parameters.

  Nothing helps.

  It's not easy to say why your device breaks down but the high temperature can be a reason.
  If play you games or watch DVDs all the laptop parts (i.e. graphics card, CPU, etc) running at high performance and produce a lot of heat. In this case, you should check the cooling fans if they can work properly and if they are clean. If this isn't the case, you can use the vacuum cleaner to clean the fans. If the cooling fan is dusty it can t work properly and the temperature rises.

• How to activate the keyboard repeat

  This is a topic that has received a lot of comments, but I have found no solution.  I have an Elitebook 8530W, the problem is when you use the keyboard built into the laptop the keyboard repeat does not work.  If I use an external keyboard through my docking station, everything works as expected.  All key functions are working, but for holding a key, so only the key repeat place ideas help please.

  It may or may not be possible (although more - I would have said just before that - keyboards provide the functionality).  Go to start / Control Panel / Keyboard and check for repeat rate or repeat what allows - if they exist, you should be able to make it work (unless the keyboard itself is perhaps faulty).  If it is not there (there are no controls) then the keyboard maybe do not have this feature, but it may be available.  Go to the web site of the manufacturer of the computer and are looking for the most up-to-date drivers, firmware or software for your keyboard and install it to see if that adds functionality.  If not, then the keyboard only has not the function repeat that it contains and there isn't really anything you can do on this issue (since same replacement will not solve the problem if it is not programmed to do).  The only option would be to search Bing, Google,www.tucows.comand www.download.com for 3rd party software which adds this feature to the keyboard and is compatible with your version of Vista and your computer (if such software exist).

  I use Illustrator CC.  I just use the image tracking tool to create a version vector of my company logo.  It worked pretty well, but now I'm just trying to clean it up a bit.  I have a few anchor points that I want to just push upwards or downwards into the smallest possible increment.

  I think it would be easier for me to do using the arrow keys on the keyboard instead of the mouse, but the arrows cause my selected anchor point to jump in too large a distance way.  I checked to make sure that the bearings commented, snap to grid and snap to Point are all extinct.  I don't see anything else to do.

  Can someone tell me which control how the keyboard arrow keys will move an anchor point, and how can I fix this to the smallest possible distance?

  I have Windows xp and I have sound problems and I get answers as no card available and or no active mixer device. I read some outings. I'll problably do a full restore. But there's the right driver for the Realtek sound card.  I went from the top of the files down, checking the drivers and to see if there were those that could be updated. I have found only one and he said that all the rest are the best and all performed correctly.  I have sound if I play dvd but the only control I have is the speaker controls.  The icon in the task bar disappeared and my sound more of the keyboard are inopertive to.

  You most likely corruption sndvol32.exe, which is what allows access to the sound engineer and other sound controls in Windows. The solution is to restore from restoring your system. Following the steps in this tutorial on the way to install Windows Volume control should solve the problem and restore the normal functioning of your sound on your computer. The only thing to watch is to make sure you know which drive is actually the restore disc, because that can vary from the procedure described in the tutorial.

  Click Start on the taskbar, and then select Properties from the context menu.
  Ensure that the selected option of Start Menu as ist and click Customize to the right of the Start Menu option.
  This will display the Customize Start Menu dialog box.
  Use the Option Select an icon of Sice to Programms and now select small icons

  To configure your display appearance, wants to get small icons on your desktop

  Right click on an open area of the desktop and select Properties.
  Click the appearance tab.
  Click on 'effects' (in my Version of XP in German), perhaps you will need to click on Advanced.

  In my XP there is a "huge symbols" choice, if you have this choice, remove the hook.

  I bought Earth 2160 gog.com installation and download went well. However, when I try to play the game it crashes at the player selection screen. Now Ive downloaded June DirectX run time package, re-downloaded the game download the latest DirectX web installer, thus, run as admin and tried a solve compatibility issues.   When a 3rd party application plays on my iPhone (Audible, Castro,...), my Apple Watch does not show the playback controls to it.
