No driver installed for any other device

How to identify and download the driver for the universal series (USB) bus controller.

Other devices in the Device Manager icon and the computer in both devices and printers have a yellow exclamations.  In the properties of the window for the icon of the computer is listed as hardware ID

PCI\Ven_8086 & DEV_1E31 & SUBSYS_05431028 & REV_04
PCI\Ven_8086 & DEV_1E31 & SUBSYS_05431028
PCI\Ven_8086 & DEV_1E31 & CC_0C0330
PCI\Ven_8086 & DEV_1E31 & CC_0C03

The hardware ID exact same are also for other devices in Device Manager.  The icon of the computer in devices and printers has my computer name.

Until I uninstalled the driver for other devices, the icon of the computer was named unknown device, but now it's LIGHTELLEN-PC.

I tried to update the driver, but Windows Updater cannot find a driver.  I have Windows, turned on automatic updates, but have selected download updates but let me decide whether to download and install them. I don't know how to identify the driver updates.  I checked all the boxes (4) to choose how Windows can install updates.

Someone can tell me how to locate, download, and install this driver?  I would like to get rid of the yellow exclamations in devices and printers, and in Device Manager.

I have a Dell XPS 8500.

Check here to see Ellen, under "Chipset".

  • USB key used in iMac unrecognized by any other device

Hi all, I recently encountered a problem using USB keys with my iMac 2010 10.11.3 running OSx.

My iMac will recognize UBS sticks and allow me to save documents and files for them, but when I insert into any other device (e.g. a few friend PC and Macs, professional printers to Officeworks etc.) the USB stick is not recognized and does not see the same on their system.   Then when I insert the USB in my iMac, it is recognized immediately as well as its content.

Before that, I was able to share files and documents with family, friends and clients on USB with no problems at all.

I tried a variety of different USB keys (old and new) and what is happening to all of them, whatever the brand, age, size, etc.   Is produced only for a few months and at first I was in denial and thought that it was my friend PC, but now I see that it is certainly a problem with my iMac.  He may have started happening around the same time that when I upgraded to IE Captain earlier this year.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you.

The fact that this happens with different computers suggests that the problem could be the configuration.

Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk utility. Insert your flash key and look at the settings. It may look like this:

Everything on this list must be verified. While you're there, see if your USB is correctly configured:

So what do you have? Installed a new drive or just back to the old one? Maybe your disk is not inserted properly or the drive is may be defective.

Check your drive with certain tools? One useful thing is the "UBCD - Ultimate Boot CD" where are many tools to check the hard disks.

I suggest you to control your player with this CD.

  • Does not see the utility Airport Airport Extreme or any other device in the House on the network. However, all devices are getting internet.  Backups on external hard drive are going wireless, too. Yosemite day and other software. What should do?

Said Airport utility cannot find extreme AP, which used to be on the network and shows no other devices on the network. But all devices (MBPro, MBAir, iMac, iPod touch, iPad 2 air2) are connected to the internet. Wireless backups on external drives are being completed. El Capitan 10.11.2; Airport Utility 6.3.6. How do "seen it all" again?

    What should do?

All you can do is to try to circumvent some of the bugs crawl into El Capitan.

Given that the AirPort Utility becomes easily confused about what are the devices on the network, it will sometimes help to perform a complete cycle of power on the network. If you want to try it...

Power off all devices on the network, routers, computers, accessories, mobile devices, printers, etc... in any order you want

    Wait a minute

Turn on the modem first and let it run by itself for 2-3 minutes

Then, switch on the device connected to the modem and leaves turn a good minute

Keep power devices one at a time about a minute out until the entire network is back

    Recheck the AirPort Utility

If still no luck, we will have to try some repellent on Mac.

Go to the Device Manager and see if "other devices" is listed, then uninstall it.
If the device is connected before the driver being installed or the driver was not installed correctly, the device will appear under 'Other devices' or 'unknown '.

  • Pavilion dv4-1145go: software for the "other devices" in the Device Manager in a new installation

After having rebuilt the laptop above with the new motherboard and the hard disk, I loaded a new copy of Vista using an ISO Setup disk and my COST. Everything seems perfectly.

But I can't connect to my router, LAN or wireless. Realtek RTL 8101 E NIC driver appears to be installed correctly, but the network controller and several "other devices", for example: device Base system, SM Bus controller, etc need drivers.

My dilemma is that I don't know what (s) to search for.

In addition, while searc hing of HP Web sites, I was not able to locate the drivers available for this model of Pavilion. Just Web sites ask me enter the model number, then display the image of this model and ask again the model number. Pilots locations have changed on the HP Web site?

Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

    At any time.

    Glad to be of assistance.

Try the driver wifi directly from Intel.  You want the driver of first or second in service if you're running Vista 32 or 64 bit. Then download and install the first driver on a Web page.  You don't need the software if you let Windows manage wireless connections.

    Hello, gentlemen:

I've been looking on this issue and the problem you are experiencing, it is that the driver files do not contain the & Subsys secondary ID for the card reader (2393197B).

This is why the driver is not installed.

I did a search of the forum and another person who had ID.

David has provided the driver and the person never anwered one way or the other.

In any case, I believe that there is a problem with the hardware with the card reader because here is the list of caught IDS supported by versions of the driver that I could find.

It took a while to browse a few files, but there is no drivers in the 4 or so MS # files that I looked through this full support of ID.

It's in the folder Driver2, jmcr_hp file of configuration information.  I keep my message below this list of ID.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to add this ID to the list and see what happens.

Copy and paste your ID to the list in this file as follows... then save the file and select as David suggested.

    %DEV_2393.DeviceDesc% = JM, PCI\VEN_197B & DEV_2393 & SUBSYS_2393197B

If it does not, unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.

I think that something has gone wrong in the installation of windows, either with the hardware itself.
