No driver working for switchable graphics installed properly in Windows 8 on my VPCSB1AGX/B.

I tried everyway possible to get graphs of swichable working on my Vaio VPCSB1AGX/B, but nothing works. I did a clean install of Windows 8 Pro and it's really frustrating.

Can someone help me please?

It is a sad state of affairs when it costs $80 for a recovery media solve a problem that just shouldn't exist.

And are there tricks to make it work if so? I know that there may be 'signed' driver problem or "checked"... I usually F8 on startup and make the right choice.

    Thank you.

Windows XP 64-bit "hpdj1000wx64glen.exe" driver seems to work correctly in Windows 10 64-bit for the DesignJet 1050c and 1055 CM - hp-gl/2 driver 64 bits. I didn't have to substitute or to defeat the driver requirement "signed". The pilot was "signed" by Windows 10.

I printed only pdf files. A bit slow in color in the 'normal' setting print detail color card printing but "fast draft" seemed fast enough and looked acceptable color well obviously lighter.

The 64-bit XP driver I have is version 4.91.0.0.

  • ProBook 4530 s LW800ES: no driver works for me.

    Hello

    I have notebook probook 4530 s LW800ES of the year 2011.

I have intel pentium B940 bicoeur amd and graphics processor.

Not sure what GPU because it shows me 7470, sometimes 7600 and so on.

I could not find working drivers for my laptop. I already tried autodetection showing my product number and drivers. I also looked under battery who confirmed the product number and serial number.

I downloaded all the drivers for windows 7 64 bit.

    Install any drivers.

The amd driver that I found under windows 8.1 drivers. Can I know why is under 8.1 driver and not under windows 7? in any case, it doesn't work, it shows the yellow mark under amd 7470. Error 43 and other.

If you please show me drivers for the drivers of my Exact LW800ES including my (b940) CPU and GPU model (amd 6490 or 7470) please. Thank you very much.

    You are the very welcome.

Yes, I guess that's what you have to do.

I encountered the same problem with trying to find a graphic driver for my notebook 6910p.

Fortunately, I was able to use the W7 of Intel driver.

But because your laptop is the switchable graphics, you have to use the driver of graphics customized on the support page.

I have no idea what's going on with the support pages, but they have had problems for the last 2 years in one way or another.

I learned that HP pretty much closed its doors for 2 weeks during the holidays of Christmas and new year, so it could be a while for them to get this issue resolved with only a skeleton crew.

You can try this graphics driver of HP consumer class specifications which has the same configuration of Intel/AMD switchable graphics adapter as your model.  Maybe it will work.

This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

  • Vidock 2 ATI HD4670 working with switchable graphic version T400/500 w?

this review , it seems clear the US $379 Vidock 2 with the desktop ATI Radeon HD 4670 card will work fine with an integrated graphics card only T400 running Windows 7.

But not the restriction of Vista to require that the display driver even if there are several graphics cards, see here , means that it would be possible to use Vidock 2 with a dedicated graphics processor (IE with switchable graphics architecture) T400/500 under Windows 7?

I know that in this case Vista would not support multiple monitors, but would it be possible to turn off the laptop LCD (Fn + F7 optionally?) to get the DVI monitor, attached to the Vidock 2 in turn connected through the ExpressCard to work properly under Vista? It should turn off switchable graphics in the Bios?

The answers would be the same for the 4 Vidock with the ATI Radeon HD 4890 which is supposed to deliver this month?

Vista restricting to a single driver of unique software for several graphics cards is filled for a 2 Vidock attached to my T500 because the ATI Catalyst driver is the same for HD 3650, HD 4670 and HD 4890. Worst case may be to define discrete graphics option (only) in the Bios. With same hopefully switchable graphics would work, starting with the built-in switchable graphics 9.5 ATI Catalyst in their vanilla desktop drivers.

  • WiFi Dell 1704 no driver work for doesn't win 10

Hello, I have a laptop Inspiron 3543 which has WiFi Dell 1704 map 10 64-bit Windows running, and I can't find drivers that work:

    (1) the last v7.35.295.0 on the Dell driver download page crashes the laptop every two hours with a blue PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA screen (I've read elsewhere that it is because I am running Hyper-V, this version of the driver can't stand properly but I can not remove Hyper-V as I'm required to use by my company for work)

Swapping 2) back to the original v6.30.223.256 that comes with Windows 10 causes a blue screen, but instead he loses the connection to the WiFi every two hours and I have to restart so that he reconnect (I disabled the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the power management of the Manager screen devices set the "Minimum energy" false in the screen advanced device management) set it to 'Maximum Performance' in "SpeedStep" power in the control panel and disabled Options in the BIOS - no combination of these changes stop it from occurring)

So I can't use the last version of driver because TI regularly bluescreens and I cannot use the original driver because it disconnects regularly requiring a reboot to fix.

What can I do? When a driver version will come that properly supports Hyper-V AND does not cut the WiFi?

    Thank you

    Paul

    Hi Paul,.

I don't know when will be released a new Win10 driver for the Dell DW1704 card.  The previous one was in October, but unless there is a significant problem with the connectivity without wire of the 1704 through a number relatively large users I don't know that a specific upgraded wireless driver will be released.  Not too much our Inspiron 3543 customers using Hyper-V, so I find it highly unlikely that an updated driver will be released to address exactly that.

V6.30.223.256 of the driver version is the one that came with the card with installs it Windows 10 original, but have you tried to remove all the drivers wireless, restart the system and allowing the Win10 to find / install a native driver for the wireless card?  Or is that the version of the driver, it installs on your system?  A native driver of Win10 would be better work for you?  Win10 is supposed to have built in drivers for many network elements.

The Inspiron 3543 DW1704 is a mini-pcie half height card and your best bet may be to find another card that will support Hyper-V.   A lot of our line of Latitude and Precision Workstation systems aimed more at business practices based, that would be more likely to use virtualization, tend to come with the Intel-based cards.  You can also check with the it Department of your company.  If they require you to use Hyper-V they can already get an idea of cards that they prefer to take in charge the also.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more promising response, but unfortunately this line of systems and maps, not are not really designed to manage what you're trying to do.

  • When I start the machine, continuous hard drive work for almost 1/2 hour, meanwhile if I open a program, the machine runs very slowly. Help solve the problem please

I have wndow XP Home edition service pack 3 installed on my lap top. How much RAM you have on your system? (Right click on "My Computer"-> properties)

As a general rule, Windows XP does not work well if you have less than 1 GB or more of RAM.  What usually happens is that your RAM capacity is exceeded leading to overflow on virtual memory (the drive) to compensate for the need of RAM in the computer.  This causes your system to beat on your hard drive and slow down your system.

If this is your problem, the options are to increase the RAM on your system or decrease the non-essential programs that launch at startup on your computer using a tool like Autoruns.

  • Is - this command D2CurveSpecOffs working for a graphic bar in DIAdem 11.0?

    Hello

I have a difficulty to get the command D2CurveSpecOffs works for my custom vertical bar graph (histogram).  I'm opening and closing of the objectnames very well, since I can adjust other aspects of the graph.  As I understand it, D2CurveSpecOffs allows me to compensate for the vertical bar on the left to the right relative to the value it represents on the x-axis?  Right now, it seems that the bar is centered on the value of x.  But because each bar in my bar chart represents a different range, i.e. of the counts of 0.25 to 0.5 = 1000, I would that the right edge of the bar to align with 0.5 (0.5 aligns with 1000 as the x-axis channels & y axis), to my knowledge, maybe I should put the D2CurveSpecOffs = 100 or - 100, etc..

    Example of 2 channels:

    (Ch1) Counts, values (Ch2)

    0.25, 1200

    0.5, 1000

    1, 125

    2: 13

    etc.

Maybe I'm not completely understand what D2CurveSpecOffs allows me to do.  I'd appreciate your comments.

    -GvG

    GvG,

D2CurveSpecOffs does not allow to specify the offset of percentage on the x-axis for bar charts. You can see the photos, I enclose below before and after. I would recommend that you change the offset manually in the report and then with the parameters of the curves window, press Ctrl + A, this will copy your settings, and you can then go into your script file and press Ctrl + V to paste the settings changed by your name of graph and the curve already filled. It seems that the value that you specify with Offset is used in conjunction with the bar width to calculate its final position, so, even if you leave the shift even change the width, your bars will move.

  • Success Story with get switchable graphics to run on Windows 10 with one to Inspiron 15r / Inspiron 7520

For background, some Dell laptops have a function where they use a low-power intel graphics card when running undemanding applications, but they spend a graphics card with high power, high power (series AMD Radeon) when demanding games is running. With the AMD/Intel version, it's a very fragile Setup and you can not download an older version of the drivers and expect to work. Dell engineers specifically design a version of intell driver installers that is compatible with this configuration.

Pilot automatic/windows updates and changes to the OS can overwrite on this delicate configuration and you are at the mercy of the people of Dell support on when you will get an updated driver. If you use just the vanilla Intel video drivers, they don't respect the will AMD to take the chart control and the AMD video card will sit unused in your laptop.

There are three parts to get Windows to use your preferred hardware driver, remove all installed software that provides drivers. This is done by uninstalling all the software that puts drivers on the hard drive. The second step is to remove all windows drivers is pegged against because Windows will not allow pilots used to be completely uninstalled. To do this put Windows in "safe mode" where it does not use most of the drivers and then uninstall and delete the driver files themselves. step final is to install your favorite drivers, the AMD and Intel video drivers in this case.

Here's how I got AMD/Intel switchable graphics to work in Windows 10:

    1. I went on the site of dell drivers with Internet Explorer (not Microsoft Edge/Google Chrome/etc) and used the detection system to recognize my laptop. Then, I downloaded the video drivers Intel and AMD for 64-bit Windows 10
    2. I uninstalled all of the AMD and Intel video drivers via the Add/Remove Programs application in Control Panel.
      1. You can search for "Remove programs" in the search box in the windows bar to get the applet in Windows 10.
      2. There are a lot of Intel drivers for things like network cards, be sure to uninstall the drivers for video cards only.
    3. I started in SafeMode Windows 10. Search for instructions on internet to find out how to enter safe mode.
    4. I opened the control panel and went to the Device Manager to remove the video drivers left on the system.
      1. I think that currently used driver files are not completely uninstalled when you uninstall the software of the driver in the usual way, we must do more.
      2. Open Device Manager (a passerby is windows key + 'x')
      3. Open graphics cards, there should be one for intel and amd.
      4. Right-click on each graphics card and choose uninstall. Then click on the option button driver remove and remove drivers
      5. reset
    5. After the reboot, check that the graphics cards in Device Manager are very generic, they say probably intel or amd.
    6. Install the device driver software intel you downloaded from dell
    7. reset
    8. Install the amd you device driver software downloaded from dell
    9. reset
    10. You should now see the option "Configure switchable graphics" If you right click on the desktop.
    11. Try to run a game that requires a bit of graphics card
    12. Open the app "Configure switchable graphics" and check that it has considered the game that you just ran and that he put it to 'high performance '.
    13. fact

Probably, you should be on a/c during all this power. I think that I heard that the switchable graphics may change if it is on battery power, not sure.

Skyrim has worked after that, as well as the intros of l4d2 ran very slowly (they are incredibly unstable when they are executed on the graphics of intel), but the application itself crashed without warning on the desk, just as he finished a solo campaign of loading for me. I suspect that it's probably more a thing of windows 10 a graphical thing and hopefully reinstall the game will fix it.

Well, my case is very simple. I just install the driver the newest Intel.com and amd.com, and everything works. I wish just that Dell can update driver Audio Conexant Audio Device.

  • Driver ATI for A300-15 a acting strange - windows XP

    Hello!

    I got Satellite A300-15 a PSAJ4E with windows XP SP3. I downloaded all the drivers from http://www.toshiba-europe.com/.
Everything works well except the driver ATI Radeon HD 3650. When I install windows get some strange colors. I.e. welcome letters on the start screen have orange background? The nuances under letters are orange (no matter what theme I use). Links in Firefox are orange or red... it works fine but seems strange...

The problem is that I can't find any other driver to install. If I download driver driver ati or omega he says it does not support this model. Actually on ati pages there is no drivers for newer than x 1800 mobility Radeon.

Is there any other driver for download or some other advice?

    Thank you!

Hi, I also A300 but 15 k with Ati 3470, you need to download the latest drivers from ATI (8.7) web and mod them to this http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php tool and then install it, if it will not work that manually choose the INF of unzipped Ati drivers, it works for me...

  • Windows 95 to Windows 7. Windows compatibility works do not to install from dos/Windows 95 version of Master of Orion 2. Is there another way?

    Hello

I have a dos/Windows 95 master of Orion 2 and really desperate male relative.  Is it possible to install this game on a Windows 7 system?   He repeats to me that there is a mismatch due to 64-bit system.  I used the program in the control panel for trying to install programs designed for earlier versions of windows, but the compatibility program was not able to help me.  I also tried the right click on the Setup icon, select properties and change the compatibility of the system, but also the resolution here, but alas no luck.  Thank you!

    Hello EBahama.

If its a DOS game I would suggest using DOSBox.  It's a bit complicated so I won't have a full run down here.  But assuming that this male relative has used BACK before he shouldn't have any problems.

If it is a real 16-bit Windows application.  Then you could use a Virtual Machine, assuming that your CPU supports the required technology (many do not) and installs an earlier version of Windows on them.  Unless you use the professional version of Windows 7.  Then you can download 'XP Mode' which is a virtual machine that comes with a copy of Windows XP.

A failure there is a Master of Orion 3 released a few years ago, I'm not on top of my head, if its compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.  But there are also the Sins of a Solar Empire, which is compatible, is a little different, because his real time, but his little near the same concept. :-) Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience...
