  One here that never heard you before - I burned the OS on this Toshiba L300D-043 is really a PSLC8C 043019 of his bloody useless VISTA to XP and I managed to dig up enough drivers for everything except the video card in it.

  Now I show as an ATI Radeon 3100 series, at least that's what the windows 7 install says it is...
  So once the continuous hunt... anyone know what other series of laptops has the same video chipset and it will install happilly on this PC?

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L300D-11V comes with Vista. I downgraded it to XP Pro. I need to find a driver from chipset AMD M690G (processor is AMD Athlon X 2 dual core inside) to set right, but can't find so far that has worked.

  I think that's the reason why I can't install the network driver wireless Realtek correctly on this subject.

  The question is what cable did you use and how connect you to the TV and if you chose the right channel of the TV!

  As far as I know this laptop supports the port ONLY VGA (RGB). Using this port, you can only transmit analog video signal.

  For example; You cannot connect VGA/DVI. This will not work!
  If you want to connect the external monitor will let you must use the VGA cable and connect the two devices with a VGA cable.

  I guess you are trying to install the driver LAN WXP because Vista LAN driver is not available. Am I wrong?

  -Create a new folder on your desktop
  -extract all downloaded files here
  -Open Device Manager and right-click on device unknown you want to install
  -choose Properties
  -find the Install driver button
  -Click on it and go to the new folder created
  -Follow the on-screen menu

  So now, it would be useful to know what operating system you have installed.
  If you are using XP then you should install SP2 and should update the operating system to the State.

  I found most of the drivers I need on the Web site for my XP install on my laptop satellite L300D, however there are still two "other devices" in Device Manager with many yellow question marks by them (I've been told I need drivers to fix... correct me if I'm wrong).

  I have a model L300D PSLC0E-00900DEN number, it is fourteen months, executed without problems so far, the average use of 5 to 6 hours per day.

  Two nights ago was up all night playing poker online.
  In the morning, laptop turns off without warning twice, in reverse ok afterwards.
  Third time, he did, he didn't come back. "On" led lights up green, the fan works. Nothing else happens.
