No export of problem no gpu acceleration

Hi my I have a problem with the gpu load export. I have

Windows 7 (cause of my card mother usb 3.0 drivers)

ASUS maximus extreme IV 3.0 rev

I7 2600 k 3.5 4.6 GHz

16 GB of ram

128 ssd OCZ

RAID 2 TB 7200

NVIDIA gtx 670 2 GB (latest drivers)

Prime Minister cc pro latest version 9.2.0

The problem is when I export on bluray or dvd with mpeg2 or h.264 codecs is not GPU acceleration. But when I export to the h.264 format simple for YT for example the GPU acceleration works normally. The same problem is with the SOUL.

is it possible that the graphics card is not on the list?

This graphics card has not been tested with Premiere Pro, or is not in the list of supported cards.

But this does not mean, you cannot use it with first.

Please check, if you have applied a GPU accelerated effects in your project.

  • Performance is worse with the GPU acceleration that without

I have a Windows 7 system fast, i7 980 X processor with a monitor @ 2560 x 1440 pixels. As a photographer, I'm processing of thousands of photos and my PC can not be fast enough, so I thought that I invest a little in a new graphics card. OK, I have not bought a Quadro, but with GTX 970 from Nvidia, I always feel a modern, fast, with a value of more than $ 400 map.

My first experiences after the installation of the new graphics card are more then disappointing - a lot is worse, running without any GPU acceleration. Before, I could scroll an image to the image almost no imperceptible lag. With the GPU acceleration turned on, each image must be "rendered" first first you get a blurry picture of Pexelated / of complitely and flackers of color shortly, then after a while, it becomes more clear. So it seems that with GPU acceleration turned on, Lightroom 6 completely ignores the preview images pre-rendered - FACT IT MAKE any SENSE WHAT? Yes, all the sliders mode develop work faster, but the preview shown instantly image is a false low resolution and it always takes time for an image high resolution to display - as much time, as it should, making it with a CPU.

For me, it would make sense that next image will be loaded into GPU memory by actually DURATION and rendering the previous image would be preserved in memory as well. Also miss me some detail for the GPU acceleration settings - if it remains at the current level, rudimentary, (for me) the best compromise would be to disable the GPU acceleration to scroll through the photos, but using just to develop sliders.

I would want guus at Adobe to improve the product real, not just marketing slogans on the improvement of performance!

    kirillxxx wrote:

. My suggestion is simple enough - if the guys at Adobe can not program properly, the easiest would be (to make an option) to disable the GPU acceleration for image swithiching and just take his profit for the developer sliders.

You can not simply switch off to change the image. The image * should be loaded into the GPU, which is where the delay comes from. Even though you might think about what would happen: of course the image would change quickly, but then you would still wait before you can deal with.

For now the acceleration GPU in LR is very it is childhood: things first generation, and we are all good enough beta testers.

Some people are lucky: they love him and have no problem.

Some people are out of luck: it causes nothing but problems.

Some people like me are sitting on the fence: we have mixed experiences.

I don't think you threw $400, at some point (I live in optimism) questions will be fixed and LR will work on your system. He just had to wait. Isn't is funny, but you only need to take a casual look at any photography forum to see that there are problems with GPU acceleration and now is not the time to buy the latest and greatest card.

I've personally held off buying a new card to replace my aging one until I see that there is zero chance of all the problems of proof.

  • Rendering time 12 times faster or slower depending on GPU accelerated effects?

    Hello world!

I use first Pro CC on a new powerful enough Windows system (a young i7 cpu, 64 GB of ram, double cards GTX 760) and just test its rendering performance.

I have a 20 minute video with 6-7 video effects applied (on its whole length), only for testing purposes. All these effects are GPU accelerated, chosen from the built-in PP. I also enabled the GPU acceleration for the EMT (Mercury playback engine) in the project settings and the render bar in the upper part of the chronology is completely yellow (not red), so that everything seems nice and good to go. I then export it and it's pretty fast, rendering time is about 12 times faster than when I export in Disabling the GPU acceleration in the project settings (by selecting the 'Software MPE' option only). So everything looks good so far.

Now, when I add to clip an single effect which is NOT a GPU accelerated (from built-in PP ones) I noticed that the bar made totally blushed and time of export (always with active MEPS GPU) is now the same as if I exported with the option "software MPE only! (approximately 12 times slower than before!).

Is this "normal" guys? or am I missing something here? I mean, one effect 'enough' to slow down the entire accelerated by GPU export process? (and essentially "cancellation" of all the benefits of GPU acceleration speed)?

If anyone can help? Thanks in advance!

I'd say it's normal.  Indeed, with the addition of this effect, I could even expect to take more than software mode without this effect, you add in the calculation process.

  • Transparency problem strange mercury GPU acceleration

    Hello world

I just took a GTX570 today and have a strange problem.

I have two layers. One is a white color matte, on track 1. The second layer is a clip 1080 p video that has been keylighted in After Effects and implemented as MOV (rgb + alpha).

In software mode only, everything works as it should. My images looks solid, and it's all good. (he just * seems * solid - it is not perfectly matching is in fact slightly translucent) But if I switch to the mode of acceleration GPU MEP, my images strong becomes "dirty" translucent.

This could be the cause? Here is a screenshot. I didn't switch between software mode and GPU, by selecting 'Remove previews' both times.

It seems that the concentrations of gamma are all wrong when I enable the GPU acceleration, or something.

It seems that the concentrations of gamma are all wrong when I enable the GPU acceleration, or something.

You are more or less correct. When you use the MPE material, you enable (and there is no way to selectively disable) treatment of color/light linear. When you have a not-so-clean key, as you mentioned, the partially transparent alpha is composed differently in the context that if you were to use the default colors in software mode MPE treatment. You can see other examples that work in fighting equipment MPE, Episode 2: Chunky blurs and curved opacity and EMT + GPU.

What you have to do, is get your cleanest indexed foreground layer; It will be ebb in AE and tweaking the Keylight effect, until you can pull a key better. Keylight can do much better than what you have posted here - it is a very powerful Manipulator. You can also try to make your key in first with the Ultra masking effect; It's accelerated by the hardware and also a very good manipulator MPE. It has all the bells and whistles that Keylight, but it can be changed in real time is a real bargain.

In both cases, be sure to set the display of each Mode Alpha effect mode so that you can check the quality of your key. You want the foreground object to be white (opaque) pure and the surrounding area to be pure black (transparent). Once you establish that you will find that you won't have the problem of 'dirty alpha' that you are currently experiencing.

  • Lighroom 6.1 develop vs vs library export colors change with the GPU acceleration

Having managed to obtain the execution of acceleration GPU (with AMD Radeon 6800 on Windows 7) subsequently, I make a radical change in color between the library and develop modules.  The develop module shows a really cool picture.  This can be 'activated' on and outside by disabling GPU acceleration.  The library files and anyexported show a warmer image in comparison.

How can I fix it?  Anyone has any ideas - I had to disable the GPU at the moment... again...

Library and develop are color management and use the profile.  But they use it in different ways with different code (for example develop uses the GPU is not the case of library), so incompatibilities in the risk profile of stumbling one but not the other.

From what IV ' e reading the question is if you have a gpu that is obsolete, but I have a gtx 970 if im not sure what I could do, resettlement had no effect.

  • The Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration and activate mercury pass question

So, I'm working on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1 (my father built my desktop and here all the info I get off Speccy on its parts)

    -CPU: AMD Phenom II X 4 965

    Deneb 45nm technology

    -RAM: 8.00 twin DDR3 @ 669 MHz

-Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. CG1330 (AM3)

-Hard drives: 932GB Seagate ST31000528AS peripheral ATA (SATA)

-Optical discs: BD - RE of HL - DT - ST WH14Ns40

Now, recently I'm subscribed to Adobe first CC 2015 and I open a project file that was originally a Mac computer (the disc has been formatted to be read by the PC and I got this done before so thing Mac PC should not be a problem)

The first message, I thought "this project has been modified used with playback engine Mercury GPU acceleration (OPEN CL), which is not available or not certified on this system. Only Mercury playback engine software is used.

I didn't know what to do with that I just said ok, just the project upward and running and everything is fine except the audio continues by cutting. He will play for about a minute on it before the audio starts to cut.

I played a bit with my preferences and settings and preferences in reading, there is a setting that says "Enable mercury transmit." Thereby the option checked I get the audio cutting out (there are a few options with the audio device being Adobe DV or Adobe Desktop Audio sub and an option for the video device said Adobe DV and I can check or leave it disabled but results remain substantially the same.) Now I have it on Adobe audio, DV with Adobe DV checked and it goes a little long before audio cutting comes in)

Now, if I uncheck Mercury Select pass he plays wise audio fine but after about a minute, playback stops. Literally paused, it is it's not freezing acts as I pressed pause when I touch my mouse or keyboard.

I tried to do a new project and import all of the images in it to see if it would help, but the problem persists. My pictures comes from multiple sources, including a Sony DSLR and Iphones.

Please tell me this is a fixable bug and Adobe CC is not incompatible with the office somehow.

CineForm is a codec made specifically to be a "Digital Intermediate" or post-processing format. The company that created it was bought by the people of the GoPro and is used in some of their cameras. It is designed for the achievement of quality thanks to a multi-generation processing pipeline post, without loss of quality when a step is rendered on export to another station in the process.

There were two objectives: one, it kept ALL quality through export operations repeated at a high-end professional examination and two that it was like 'light' on the processor of a computer while encoding off to play as possible. So it is not nearly as packed as many other codecs (like most H.264 & tel) and puts MUCH less strain on the CPU. It's usually large files, well that say not nearly as big as as DPX frames-based form. Does a little more direct work on the disc reading process to have been a bit bigger... but... This is a place you should have excess capacity in your system. We rarely have spare CPU capacity.

To get it, you go to the website of the GoPro and download their free GoPro Studio, I think it is called and install. Who installs Cineform on your computer, and then you can transcode via the endoder that comes with PrPro, Adobe Media Encoder, which allows batch and same file transcoding and control things like a time for a process. Or you can do it via using Adobe prelude to ingest, rename and say: place the renamed files 'original' in a single folder permanent conservation while making another series of the same name but transcoded to X codec and laid in this case here to work with.

Of course, you can use the (Mac) ProRes and DNxHD/R (PC) to work with, and in their larger versions, less compressed, they work just as well.

All three codecs can be used for import in each program level pro, I know. PC cannot export ProRes that Apple will not allow the codec out of 'their' sandbox sand and DNxHD/R has been designed to work in Windows (although as ProRes, can be read / most of the Mac edition). CineForm works anyway.

And as always in the work of pro, we deliver an export of output in that to the customer at the end of the job. If the original codec of the camera and the codec to work when editing... does not matter. Other than to be a step in the process.

  • Qosmio X 770-107 - question GPU acceleration and low of the FPS game while

    Hi all

As everyone knows (i) hope including Toshiba tech we face breakdowns of sparks/Framerate GPU limitation/Low FPS during the game, even in the game of old or new brand and down or in the highest video settings.

So lets start with the history of the mine: I bought my Toshiba Qosmio x 770-107-3D about $2600 so I was in Qatar to the 13.04.2012... In fact since the beginning of the purchased when I am faced with this famous problem of limitation GPU... I tried a lot of things, cleaning the fan, bios and driver chart updated-decommissioning, using software overclocking, combining different versions of graphics drivers with different versions of bios drivers, also including the suggestions in this tread:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=63615

2 days ago, I sent an email to Toshiba UK support and local support. Unfortunately I have no answer, I probably wouldn't be as usual. And I left one term of 7 months. As everyone knows; even if I sent it to Toshiba repair service, 99% they say the fault of the user or the dirty vere fans and we reflash the bios. who has no sense for us and they're going to get him back without GPU acceleration problem soving...

In summary that I am out of options, I'm really tempted to try to solve this problem of trottling gpu...
Maybe I should sent cell phone service and with their report of nonsense I should consider rights costumer Court in my country... will be 4 to 6 months, but in the end 90% I win.

I am really bored and tired of playing the games lag in every 10 minutes.
Yesterday, with and without external display, + with slot and overclocking, + video settings further down, I played Company of heroes 2 and Battlefield 2 and 4 with ventilation of the limitation and the new GPU framerate... it's totally waste of money and my time of 2 years. I want to buy alienware instead of Qosmio 2 years...

What should I do? You really have a permanent solution for this? I await your comments.

    Win7
    BIOS v2.10
    Graphics driver v33x.x

    Kind regards.

I read the reviews of users and customers in the thread you link above and it seems that the limitation issue was already resolved. The combination of the BIOS (v1.1?) and nVidia Driver seems to be the key.

I also uninstalled all 3rd party software for overclocking, everything is now enabled by default.

I've heard that going back to the old driver solves the problem, but when I try to install (361,43 and other drivers) system does not detect the video card (which is correct - 1080 a look in 2016)

Thanks for your comments! Take care

OK, I tried to install win 7 ultimate and own adobe install and everything is OK - camera raw now see processor gpu and it helped.

  • How to activate the CUDA GPU acceleration?

When I use Adobe Media Encoder, I not give me the option to use OpenCL or CUDA graphics acceleration when rendering. Naturally, this leads to very slow speeds made and a bottleneck in our production process.

I recently read somewhere all what you need to do is in fact to add this graphics card to the list of supported cards in a .txt file. The problem is:

    1. I don't know where this file is located in the Adobe program files
    2. I don't know how I would add my computer's graphics card to this txt file
