No game in the Accessories folder?

When I go to record all programs, I can't find the folder 'games '. I went to "run" and typed in freecell and he began. I don't know why it doesn't have the record! It is running XP btw

toastrulez,
Search for files Pinball at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball

If it is there, then you can create a shortcut on your desktop.  The fact that you did not find a folder appears even after the installation of removing\re the games could mean that there is something more.  I suggest to create another user profile and test to see if the games are working properly. If I bought a used computer, no matter who previously owned the
first thing I could do with it would be to reinstall the operating
system itself. You don't know how the computer has been maintained,
which has been improperly installed, what's missing, what virus and
There may be spyware, etc. I would not live with someone
other errors and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc. and I
would not recommend anyone else to do.

Your choice of course, but in my opinion, you're playing with fire if you
do not reinstall Windows properly. Even if you buy a copy.

  • Accessories folder is missing from the Start Menu

Hello - I just bought a new CPU with Windows 7 Home Premium installed.  When I started to use the system, I know that the traditional Accessories folder which usually includes tools system and other files/folders was in my Start Menu.  After using the test for some time and the installation of many new programs, I noticed that the folder is missing.  Is there a way to get this back in the start without a system restore, because who will cause losing me my programs newly installed what I read on other threads.  Thanks for your comments.

You are right that the system restore can cause you to have to reinstall your newly added programs.  Here is a possible alternative:

Restore previous Versions of a file or folder
1 - click on the Start button, then click on the "All programs" link at the bottom.  Choose "open all users".

    2. in the window that opens, right-click on the folder programs and then choose "restore the previous Versions. The Properties window may take a while to load in all copies of old available in this folder.  Is cool: these versions are in the same place as the restoration of the system of backups, but they allow you to restore individual files rather than your entire system :)

3 - Click on an older version of the file from a date when you know the Accessories folder was still there, then click on 'Open' and look around.  From there, you can with the right accessories backup button and paste it into your programs folder real (that you opened in step 1).

    I hope this helps.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!

  • How can I get the accessories in the start menu?

I tried to make a shortcut to Accessories on my desktop by dragging the icon in the start menu on the desktop. An Accessories folder appears, containing none of the accessories like a painting. In addition, the accessories tab no longer exists in the start menu.

I know can be found in a search, but I wanted to play with the new programs I've not seen before, such as audio and video capture.

How to restore the accessories tab on my menu to start? What programs are normally under the accessories tab?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Restarting the computer should replace accessories back to the start menu. Try to restart the computer if you not him have not tried.
Go to the following locations and check if the Accessories folder is there with all its elements intact.
    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories
Note: You may need to select the files, folders, and drives hidden in Folder Options If you are unable to locate the folder.

You can also try to create a new user account and check the issue:

    Here's how:

    1. open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and parental controls, and then clicking user accounts.
    2. click on manage another account.
    3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    4. click on create a new account.
5 type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

If it works in a new user account, then you will need to fix the corrupted user profile. You can visit this link for the steps:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile
Accessories menu start contains the following:

    * Remote Desktop Connection
    * Run
    * Snipping Tool

  • RUN missing in Accessories folder in windows 7

I typed "run" in the start menu in windows 7, I have not found the program. I also went to the Accessories folder, and the program "run" is missing. So how you download or get the program "run" in windows 7?

    Help & Support:

    That became the command run?

The run command no longer appears on the start menu in this version of Windows. The search box that appears in the start menu provides much of the same functionality as the command run. However, the command run is still available if you prefer to use. You can even add it to the start menu for easier access.

To add the run command to the start menu
Click to open the taskbar and Start Menu Properties.

Click the Start Menu tab, and then click Customize.

In the list of options on the start menu, select the command box run and then click OK. Run the command will appear on the right side of the start menu.

    Tip:
You can also access the command run by pressing the logo Windows + R key.
  • How can I stop saved pages downloaded to visit the virtual folder

I updated from XP to Windows 7. When I try to save a pdf file in my folder of pdf files seem to go in my pdf file, but they find themselves in a virtual folder. I had no problem with XP or Vista. Is there a way I can stop the file in the virtual folder.

I have no idea of what a virtual folder is,

    Take screenshots,
Usually, you can press the SHIFT key (maybe the Alt key) or (FN key on your laptop) and press prtscrn.
Open microsoft Paint, and then click Paste on the top left.
Painting is located in the Accessories folder in all programs from the Start button.
Then click on the blue button on the file and click Save as, click jpeg file type and name the file.
Upload to skydrive or photobucket in a public album and post a direct link to the file here.

Or use the windows snipping tool,

  • Vista Basic - why can't I see all my games in the Games folder?

I have several games in a Games folder in the C drive, but they do not show the Games folder in the start menu.  Can you help me?

    Hello

If you want to see all the games, you must open the games in the start menu.

This is because they are stored in a library, not a folder.

    It will be useful.

    Hello

You have the folder i386 somewhere in your car?

    Maybe in C:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

If so, you can try to use that to restore these games, instead of pointing to the CD do point to the i386 folder.

    Click Start > Control Panel
Double click on "Add or Remove Programs.
    Click "Add/Remove Windows components" and
    Click on "Accessories and utilities.
Click on "Details". Check the box 'games'.
Select the games you want to install on your computer.

How to restore Windows XP Games(instead of the windows CD your source would be the i386 folder if you have it.)

  • "Accessories" folder deleted by mistake and he had to get back.

Original title: How can I reinstall windows xp pro folder "Accessories"?...

I deleted it by mistake during a cleaning. Now I have no sound control panel

If sfc/scannow solves your problems, I'll send you (or your charitable organization preferred) $10 American.  I could even go to $100 on this one.

Maybe if you describe how for the cleaning process you deleted it by mistake, we can help you put it back on purpose.

You just right-click and delete from the menu programs?

Did you remove it via Add/Remove Windows components programs?

What you see offered on the Start Menu, programs are just a few other folders on your system...  You will find you have a Games folder, Administrative Tools folder, etc. - everything you see is just a file belonging to your login.

So if you don't see the accessories, you should be able to put the folder in your start, programs - list and trying to run sfc/scannow won't do it because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.

You should have other accessories on your system files in other places, but correctly putting back in your startup, programs depends on how it has been deleted.

  • Rename the Media folder

In the menu start, in the right side, above the 'Documents' folder is a more general file containing other folders: 'Videos', 'Games', 'music' etc. This forder is usually named after the name of the PC user, in my case, it was 'George '. About a week ago I was looking for something by using the address bar and it was accidentally renamed to 'from' and now I can't change it to 'George' since there is no option. By a right click on it, you get the options: 'Open', 'Explorer', 'Copy', 'display on the desktop '. Is anyone know how can I fix? Thanks a lot ^^.
