No history except the 2 update, I installed last night. What is a registry error?.

When I go to windows update it tells me that no update was already installed. The update history page is white, except for the 2 updates, I installed last night. Update said earlier I have all the updates that are installed and there is no new update. I went to the windows update log in windows system 32 file and it lists all of my updates to the current, but will not display the update on the page history. I have hundreds of updates in the win sys. 32 journal update. This me puzzled because I'm savy on most windows problems, or, at least so far, I was able to fix most of the windows over the years since 2007. Am running Win Vista Home Service Pak 2 and all the other stuff seems to be ok except windows update. No history except the 2 update, I installed last night. Microsoft security essentials courses and a fix windows 3.5 way way back.  What is a registry error?.

  • Why the automatic updates to install the Service Pack 4 (KB2463332) on my computer? I have windows XP

I have Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 3, this computer is on a network, but it is NOT the server. This update hase until now tried to install 24 times, and continues on a daily basis through automatic updates. Initially, I tried several things to actually force the installation until I found a link here, who said that he was only for servers. So, I need two things... If I do not need this update and how to stop it coming as an update critical for my computer? or if it's my computer, how can I install?

Thank you for your time, Jenny

KB2463332 is an option, not the security update. Do not hesitate to 'hide '.

    ====================

    1. stop the automatic updates service:

    Start > run > services.msc (enter) > [OK]
Double-click Automatic Updates > click Stop
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

2 remove the contents of the download folder:

    Start > run > %windir%\SoftwareDistribution (enter) > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its contents
    Close the window.

    3. go to the Windows Update Web site. Select CUSTOM and allow the analysis to be performed. Uncheck the box/deselect KB2463332 (look in the SOFTWARE OPTIONAL category on the left side) and hide ("don't show me this update").

    4. start the automatic updates service:

    Start > run > services.msc (enter) > [OK]
Double-click Automatic Updates > click Start
(Starting the service will take a moment)

  • How to control the Windows updates are installed on the Windows Surface of RT

I recently had to perform a refresh to solve the problem with desktop on the desktop icons that appear as spaces. After the update, I had to reinstall the update for Office 2013. When I went to Windows Update to do this, I found it with a group of 9 other updates, these 9 were all marked as ready for download and installation, Office 2013 update is not checked. I disabled the office 2013 update and not the other 9 updates, thinking that I could make those after I had Office installed upgrading so I would like to know if my taskbar icon problem has been resolved. At the bottom of the screen even when the Office update was the only update checked I chose to install updates. The Surface actually installed all updates, not only the update of Office.

Is there a way to control which Windows updates are installed in fact at some point? Unchecking them made no difference.

  • Error launching PS CC 2015 after the last update and after update Windows 10 last night. What is going on?

(Since the two updates at the same time, I'm not one that caused a problem within the PS but here's what I saw.)

Microsoft sent an update to my Windows 10 software last night then when I logged on Windows with success, my CC Adobe said I had an update waiting. I went to CC and started the update of PS CC 2015. No errors were found. When I tried to launch PS later in the morning, it failed with the following information in the pop-up box:

    [Window title]

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Photoshop.exe CC

    [Content]

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Photoshop.exe CC

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe for more details.

    [OK]

Adobe: do you know what is happening and how can I do? Re - install PS?

Looks like I found a solution. I went to the CC Office and next to the PS application, click on the update button and it has apparently installed the latest ACR 9.3.1.520

    Deliver not more today!
