No keyboard or mouse to Win 7 connection

Hi, I saw this problem as the object of numerous messages on various forums, but I failed to find the remedy that works on my bench, can someone please?

MB: Asus M4A87TD Evo

Keyboard: Microsoft 3000 v2

Mouse: Logitech Performance MX

Operating system: Windows 7 sp1 with all updates (bar later)

Recently, I am unable to start my computer's windows desktop power as Kb and mouse stop working just before the opening of the session, I have no trouble to enter the bios or advanced start screen via the recovery CD or F8. Point of connection, the screen looks normal, but it will not accept entry of KB or mouse movement.

I tried 1. Different mouse wireless and wired

2. different wired and wireless keyboards

3 keyboard and mouse on another computer, both work

4. a USB with light which went dark just before the login screen

The only way to start the unit is to go on the recovery disk CD or, more recently, F8 and start a system restore that most of the time will get me in the system. Today, it took two attempts to restore, the second time it worked. He's going to sleep and wake up without any problem, but the arrival of Microsoft updates that they don't move because the restart fails.

Any help will be much appreciated

Bob

  • Connection keyboard and mouse USB Wired stall

    Hello

My computer repeatedly interrupts the connection to my Wired USB mouse and keyboard.  Usually around one every 30 seconds, the connection falls for 1 to 1.5 seconds, then comes back.  Meanwhile, the cursor hangs - I can't click anything, and I can't press any keys on the keyboard.  For example - when I type, I have my keyboard will stop working for a while, and no text will appear.  This is particularly problematic when I play games.

I tried to reboot the computer, reset the SMC and the mouse and keyboard.  I also tried all USB entries on my mac (4 in total), and the problem persisted with each of them.  This leads me to believe that it is either a problem with all the USB inputs, or a software problem.

I have an iMac 27 inches, mid-2011 with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (specifications: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB with 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and storage capacity of 2 TB).

I use a wired USB (Logitech G402) mouse and keyboard USB Wired (Razer BlackWidow Stealth).  I have the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software and Razer Synapse installed for support.

    I would appreciate help.

Check if there are updates available driver.

To check if the problem is with the USB to your Mac controller, test with a different keyboard or mouse.

To check the extensions conflicts, etc., try the startup mode.

    -----

Restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.

  • Satellite L30-115: does not start when external keyboard and mouse are connected

My Satellite L30-115 starts when my external keyboard and mouse are connected to PS2 USB adapter.

Everything is OK, when they are not connected, and they work fine when they are connected after boot.

Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

    Hello

I don't think there is a way to solve this problem. Also, I assume it is the related issue of the BIOS. Is perhaps the time to be up-to-date and use new and compatible equipment. ;)

  • Power on Acer C710-2487 which is connected to HDTV by using the keyboard or mouse

Hello!  I'm new to this forum and I have what may be a crazy question.  I am wanting to know if there is a way to power on my Acer C710-2487, without having to manually push the power button on the Chromebook itself which is in the House of my HDTV.  Can it be turned on by a keyboard shortcut or otherwise with my mouse?

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that work very well with the Chromebook connected to HDTV.  I know that I can turn it off using my mouse, so this isn't a problem.  Just wondering if there could be a way to turn it on without having to walk across the room.  Thanks for any help on this.

Thank you for your response.  I can try to use the option to sleep and see what happens.

  • Keyboard and mouse stop working at the login screen, but work very well before he gets to connect.

My keyboard and mouse suddenly stopped working today, I was pressing F11 to try to get the system to boot from a recovery screen and it wouldn't, but when he returned to my screen connection and requested my password it won't let me not use the mouse or the keyboard, I wonder if I accidentally turned off something and if anyone knows how to turn it on turn it back on. I'm using vista on a HP dv5

    Hello Djc618,

Thank you for your message.  You have a friend or a family member that can allow you to use a keyboard to see if the material can be defective?  You can also try using your keyboard on another computer, if this does not work then you probably have a bad keyboard.
We can't wait to hear back on your part.

Original title: keyboard and wireless mouse

I suggest to download and install the Logitech Unifying software and restart the computer and check if it makes a difference. Logitech Unifying software lets you manage your devices that use a Unifying receiver. You can add or remove devices using Wizard of the software or to use advanced mode. The Advanced mode also displays the status of your paired devices, version of the firmware and battery level.

  • Connect the keyboard and mouse wireless with new transmitter/receiver

    Hello.

I have a keyboard and wireless Microsoft mouse 2000 but the transceiver does not seem to work.

I also have another transmitter/receiver (same model) which belongs to Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 5000, so my question is:

is there a way to use the wireless 2000 with this new transceiver box? How can I change the transceiver settings so that it finds the keyboard and mouse?

    Thanks in advance

    You can not.

The receiver is synchronized with the keyboard and the mouse in the factory and cannot be re paired at the level of the Office

  • Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 & 1000 mouse, work intermittently when connected to my new PC, but work very well on my laptop also under win7

I recently got a new PC and my wireless keyboard and mouse combo made by Microsoft have not worked properly on my new computer. Sometimes, they work fine then other times it's like the keyboard and mouse cuts in and out, make miss me not type letters or the mouse past on the screen. They work fine on my old laptop that runs windows 7 as well. I reinstalled the drivers with those newer. I disconnected all my other stuff without wire and the problem persists. I plugged into different USB ports. I'm only a 1 m from the PC. I have no idea wat the problem would be, but I can assure you that keyboard and mouse work perfectly on my laptop.

  • Magic Mouse 2 keeps losing connection

Hi, I use an iMac nine 5 k, v10.11.5 El Capitan

Whenever I use the mouse will randomly lose connection for about 5-10 seconds and then reconnect. It also happens with the keyboard sometimes. More than 90% battery levels

Can I do about it? It really disrupts my workflow.

    Thank you

    Hello miles M.

I'll try to answer your question, but I'll have to make some assumptions.   Unlike many, you have correctly filled out your profile and it helps.

For example;  I see that in addition to the MacBook Pro (running El Cap), you have an iMac (running El Cap) and a Yosemite iMac running.   They are all in the same room a lot of the time, like when your problem occurs?   Then, the mice.   At least one must be Magic Mouse 2, but it will be Magic Mouse 1.   They are close together?   If one of the above is true, it is most likely that you have an interference problem.   And where the mouse is the problem my assumption is the Magic Mouse 2.

The first thing to do is to try to isolate the Magic Mouse the part 1.   Turn off the iMac of Yosemite loaded, remove any tablets Wacom and pens and other and tested of the Magic Mouse 2 with the new iMac.

Now, my imagination is not exact, so where things are differently, let me know so that we can talk our way through it.

  • MacBook Pro: Integrated keyboard and mouse not responding pluse

    I have a MacBook Pro 13 ", early 2015, installed with OS X 10.11.4.

I use it mainly to work, with the screen closed, an external display (via Thunderport) and an Apple and change Vertical Mouse 4 - times connected via Bluetooth wireless keyboard.

Before I get home, I open the screen, disconnect the power cord and power cord screen Thunderbolt and then close it. I leave the keyboard and Bluetooth mouse on as I leave the office.

It works normally, but yesterday my Mac kept looking for Bluetooth devices home and would not respond to the built-in keyboard and mouse (with the exception of the switch when maintained supported 10 seconds for a forced stop). Reboot doesn't change anything and I tried to reboot with the disk (Cmd + R) utility or reset the NVRAM (Cmd + Option + P + R) and the keys did nothing. Reset SMC (Shift + Ctrl + Option + power) does not seem to do anything either.

When I connected a keyboard Apple USB C, the keys have been recorded, but it would still find a missing mouse and go anywhere else than the screen "You are looking for a Bluetooth mouse".

Back at work today, everything works: built-in and Bluetooth devices.

    Any suggestions?

Update: the built-in keyboard and trackpad now don't work at all, even when Bluetooth devices are connected.
