  I have a sub - VI that is called automatically to the top in many situations in my main VI.  Essentially, the user could use the mouse to interact with him, but I also want the user to have the ability to use the keyboard.  There are control only one string (called display) that the user can type in, and everything I want to do is for the 'focus' on her keyboard so that the user can type into it without first having to click on it.  Is this possible and if so, how?  I tried and so far failed.

  I also have another question about the attached VI.   You'll notice that I use two local variables for the above chain control.  I tried to eliminate the possible race conditions, but always wonder if there is a medium or even necessary to get rid of them.  Please notify.

• keyboard volume and switch control wireless - HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook

  My volume control keyboard & wireless switch (to touch those at the top of the keyboard) has just left the other day of work. I can't understand how do I know if I disabled something accidentally or what. Reset did not help. The only thing I did differently this day was to connect my laptop via a cable and stops the wireless. (I usually work wireless).

  Problems with the capacitive band can sometimes be helped by doing a Hard Reset as follows.

  Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

  Hello, I decided to trust someone w / helping me to improve the performance of the system by closing some services using msconfig, although I have some keys on my keyboard that interact w / drive DVD from Toshiba in my computer for generic commands; Play/Pause, Stop, etc to jump to chapter. These keys do not work anymore, I looked at my device manager, and the only thing I can think of that would have to do with these keys is the Microsoft eHome Remote control device keys on the keyboard. I looked at its properties and it says that this device is working properly. Already, I went into msconfig and reset booting the normal start, restarted and nothing has changed. Help please

  Is it possible to control the overall volume with a few keyboard shortcuts? I'd rather be without use of some additional software. But if this is not possible then the software should be light enough and not consume a lot of CPU/RAM.  Thank you for your help.

  Yes, you can create a shortcut to Master Volume and also assign a keyboard shortcut.

  Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and click on New and shortcut.

  Paste the following in the location of the item box: -.

  %windir%\System32\SndVol.exe f 49825268

  Click on the next button and type a name for the shortcut and click Finish.

  Now, you right-click on it and select Properties.

  Click the shortcut tab.

  Assign your shortcut key want like F8 or F9 in the shortcut key box.

  Click OK/apply.

• HP ProtectTools security manager startup disables the keyboard to exit

  Not really sure if this ensures a thread, but I just ran across a bad bug in hp ProtectTools that prevents me to enter my BitLocker PIN at startup. I made the mistake of activation of the POST behavior that requires fingerprint/password when I start my computer. I say mistake because now the application is disable my keyboard at the exit, preventing me from typing my PIN, BitLocker, or even tapping F12 for network boot.

  I tried to plug in a USB keyboard that made me only once. I thought I had solved the problem. (I should have uninstalled startup options when I had the chance!) Now, the Director of security of startup is disable the keyboard on board when it starts AND the USB keyboard when it ends. I tried almost all channels through the menu options in the hope of a different outcome. My only remaining option seems to be to reinstall the o/s to a DVD.

  It's really more of a complaint rather than a cry for help. I enjoyed the unique connection for a short period, but cursing hp to release a product that so easily loses his own material. Another day in the toilet that I reinstall - assuming I can reinstall...

  UPDATE: flashed the BIOS to version F.20, which seems to have solved the problem for me. YMMV.

  Note that the keyboard and mousepad (!) were non-functional, but I managed to limp with USB components. Updated the BIOS seems to have fixed problems of mouse and keyboard. Fingers crossed!

  You can uninstall the transceiver if necessary and it will be reinstalled when connected.

  b.On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
  c.Expand Human Interface Devices.
  d.Double, click Microsoft eHome infrared transceiver.
  e.On tab driver, click on uninstall and then click OK
  f.Disconnect the IR receiver to the computer.

  You can follow the steps below to reinstall the software.

  Wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect the IR receiver. Windows the receiver automatically detects and installs the appropriate driver.

  Spent an hour looking for a solution to this so I hope this isn't a problem of repetition. I am using a wired USB keyboard (DYNEX model No.: DX-WKBDSL) with my MBP end 2011, but whenever I have set and keyboard Setup Assistant appears my internal trackpad immediately stops responding and my internal keyboard sounds fair to me if I tap on a button. This keeps me from hitting continue setting. If I unplug the USB keyboard, I immediately regain control of my internal input devices. Disks hard USB and flash drives cause no problems. I need to be able to use my usb full keyboard, so I have a 10 key. Can someone help me?

  I noticed the guys like the thing EtreCheck here so I just ran on my machine (obviously without my keyboard usb attached since that would freeze everything). I hope that helps!

  This foldable keyboard was distributed by Belkin for Thosiba Pocket PC a few years ago.
  (Supplied on CD) driver for the German (QWERTZ) layout mixes the letters z, y and vice versa.
  Can someone help me get the appropriate keyboard mapping?

  However, AFAIK, the keyboard drivers are part of the Windows operating system and if you use an external keyboard everything must be controlled by internal drivers because it s a device plug & play
  In addition, I doubt that all the pilots could be defective.

  The language of the keyboard layout can be changed in the Windows operating system.
  I think that your system is using incorrect settings and this can be changed in the control panel-> Regional Options & language-> language-> details

  Here, you can change the settings.
  So if your keyboard supports the QWERTY layout, then you must choose in English (US) instead of German.

  I want the Toshiba Portege Z30 A 1E5, but is apparently available for purchase of the German and Austrian sellers with the QWERTZ keyboard. I would like to buy an and Exchange on the keyboard AZERTY or QWERTY (UK).

  However, I spoke with a company that and they can't confirm that they can get a part unless I can provide a reference number of keyboard (they also cannot give me a quote without it), but this number does not seem to be easy to get their hands on without actually having the computer and take off the keyboard and research under! I feel a little nervous about spending so much money when there's a chance that I won't be able to reverse the keyboard.

  So my question is, can someone tell me what the part number of the keyboard is for the a-z30-1e5 portege?

  I m wondering why you want to buy a Portege Z30-A-1E5 that isn't available in the United Kingdom?
  The notebooks are pre-installed with a Windows system in different languages. In the case of Portege Z30-A-1E5 available in Germany, the system language would be German.
  The keyboard also supports a different layout.

  Portege Z30-A-1E5 was equipped with a processor i7, SSD 512 GB and 16 GB of RAM disk.
  Very similar Portege laptop, Z30 - has - 1 6 was released in the United Kingdom. Its preinstalled with the Windows system in the English language and English keyboard layout.
  Of course, the hardware specs are a little bit lower (256 GB SSD drive and 8 GB of RAM) but I think that this could be improved is much easier to replace the keyboard.
