  • Language bar always comes down to the taskbar

As I mentioned in a previous question, I just had to recently re - install Windows XP Pro on my Dell laptop.  All is well except the guard re-appearing language bar in the task bar.  I continue to right click in the area of the taskbar and the deseledting it under the toolbars, but every morning when I start the computer, it returns.  Any ideas on how I can get this stay gone?

    Kasey

On the same right side of the language bar, you should see the Options, click on this and go to settings. (You might need unlock the taskbar to develop the language bar inorder to see Options section, I did)

In the text Services and input, on the settings tab languages, window you will see a Preferences section.

Click the language bar, and then uncheck the option "Show the language bar on the desktop."

Hello I lost the language bar in the task bar. I tried to fix it by going to: control the entry and Panel / regional and language options/languages/Text services languages, details, preferences, Language Bar / but I'm not allowed to click on this button, because I was told that there is a selection of it "show the language bar on the desktop".

  • Language bar displays incorrectly

I have a number of languages installed on a computer. I have the language bar turned on and the display. But it does not display the language correctly. When you look at the language bar, indicates a language other than English. But yet, when you type in IE, or any other program, the English came out. The language bar is minimized in the taskbar. Why does this happen? How can they be corrected?

The system is XP Pro SP3.

It seems that the problem has disappeared mysteriously.

The language bar appears correctly in the past.

No change had been made before the problem.

  • Language bar is gone and not coming back

I seem to have lost my language bar. I don't know if I still never had it but I need it now and I'm not. I used to pass to the Chinese for some reason any, although I never (thought), I installed, when I hit the shortcut key. I want the Korean keyboard in particular. I went in the regional and language and installed options the Korean IME keyboard. In the language bar tab, I made sure the bar is not hidden, so this isn't the issue. When I right click on the taskbar, the language bar isn't even in the list of toolbars. When I type the shortcut keys to change the input language, nothing has changed and I still type in English. Am I missing something?

The same thing happened to me tonight. Here's how I've sorted.

In the case of windows 7, go to the Panel of control-> clock, language and region-> region and language-> keyboards and languages, tab-> change keyboards-> tab button language bar

Then simply change the language bar hidden in the "embedded in the taskbar" and're you good to go.

Microsoft should really do something about the entry in help for this issue. The whole "If you don't see it in the list on the toolbar, then you do not have many languages ' riff is just annoying when you're stuck with no language bar.

    Good luck to you :)

  • Chinese (Taiwan) CH language bar

I bought ASUS G2S books and could not fix the following problem.

I met a very annoying problem to get the CH Chinese (Taiwan) language bar. I use only 2 languages in my work (English and other Asians, NOT Chinese).

I use Accent Grave ~ as a switch between the 2 languages, but when I pressed on ~ CH continues to show upward. It really screwed me up.

I have not installed the Chinese (Taiwan) in my book. It came with ASUS.

I look everywhere, tried to remove the Chinese but I couldn't find the answer.

Once I tried to delete protected by some sort of special application (from the keyboard) and the missing Chinese button. Only for 1 day and she came back.

Note that when Chinese input, typing will go out, like English.

    Thank you very much

    very simple.

first go and add the language Chinese to your system, and remove it. You can get rid of it

  • I'm unable to "get out" of the language bar to appear in my taskbar.

    Missing language bar

Hi all, hope someone can help me solve my problem here. I m unable to "get out" of the language bar to appear in my taskbar. I followed the instructions in the window help by installing the language, but it seems that the "language bar" is not available on my toolbar option.

tulipmelody, the links provided are order of registry editing which can be placed in the Notepad and run as a batch file.

Before I provide you with detailed instructions on how to do it, I want you please check and make sure you have an additional language added to the keyboard settings, without him the language bar will not be an option in the menu of the taskbar.

Add to James's message, follow these steps:
Click Start-> Control Panel-> regional and Language Options.
Click on the "Keyboards and languages" tab and then click on "change keyboards.
Here the tab general, you need to add a secondary language to your keyboard, otherwise you will not be able to display the language bar. To do this, click Add and select the language you want to use, click OK.

Once you have verified this, I can then provide you with more details on editing the registry. Of course, we want to ensure that it is not necessary first, as other options to resolve this problem. Rami

  • In the guest account not found language bar

I am currently using window vista version,
in my guest account setting, I can't find a language bar,
I have already explored in the Control Panel, still not able to view the bar,
that can do that I often use of Chinese and English at the entrance in the guest account.
    Thank you.

    Hello

It is design in windows that the guest account is given minimal authority to access the many features and language bar is one of them.

You can also try the steps in the link and check if it makes a difference:

  • My language bar does not appear

original title: my language bar would not be what it takes to appear? I tried using the taskbar to add using the toolbars, but it does not show here

As I said, my language bar would not be what it takes to appear?

I tried using the to-do bar to add using the toolbars, but it would not show here.
Also, I went into the Control Panel and changed language bar settings... I have almost everything...
Recently, I found a way to start whenever I run the windows... so at every Startup I must go to run > ctfmon.exe then it would start again...
but it wouldn't stay there... the problem is that this is a temporary solution and if I did drag the language bar by mistake he doesn't appear unless I restart the computer, and run ctfmon.exe again

    What should I do?

Follow the steps on the site below

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
    Method 1:
Run the scan of auditor of file system (CFS) and check if it helps.
How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:
Try to create a new user account and check if it helps.
Create a new user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account
Note: If the new user account works, see steps on how to copy files to the new user profile in Microsoft article provided: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile
