No matter which usb port I use for a usb hub

I have a compac presario CQ60-215DX notebook and I want to install a usb hub. No matter which usb port I use? would also like to know if it is necessary to remove it to restart my computer"

Thanks for any help.

Karen

The only time you usually get trouble with USB ports is when you mix both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices.

  • For all USB 3.0 is backward compatible, it is simply not the case that all the older devices are USB 3.0 compatible.  If you have a problem with an older device, consider that it may be because it is plugged into a USB 3.0 hub / port.
  • Not all hubs are created equal.  If you try to run some devices high speed (things you plug a hub) on a lower speed (2.0) turntable, they may lose the integrity of the data (Act funny) or refuse to perform certain tasks (depending on the device).  These devices may work best when it is plugged directly into the computer no matter that they are running as the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0.  It is not, therefore, necessarily what port the hub is connected - rather, it could be the hub itself (if you have problems).

Peripheral USB could better with a reboot - some may not reset at all without rebooting.  A USB hub, one of the simplest types - these are usually plug-and-play.  That's all that is connected to the hub, which could be the determining factor for the restart.  It's Windows - it is always better to restart when things change.

Hello, my ESXi server sits on the private network, and I'm trying to PAT so that I can access the external network using VMWare Infrastructure Client Server. Does anyone know what port is VMWare Infrastructure Client listen? Thank you.

Do the external network for VMware NAT

I guess you mean that your server is located in the internal network and Client is on the outside.

If the customer does not have to "listen" for connections it opens TCP ports - HI 1024-65535 to servers as follows.

Servers (including GSX) TCP ports: 8222, 8333, 902

If you have ESX (i) then TCP ports: 80, 443, 902

  • Is there a function in LabVIEW that takes the last half of the data (table) which can then be used for the analysis?

I was wondering if there was something in this direction in LabVIEW to create a shortcut for this, rather than try to hardcode it after the fact. Does anyone know this method I'm talking about? (IEC 60601-2-24 dry 50) Please let me know because I'm fighting here.

I have to calculate the index and the length after the fact. I just hope that there may be a simpler solution.

Well, you can reduce the complexity of the half by computing only the "index" and leave the 'length' of "subset of the table" unwired. If you wire length, the subset is the rest of the table.

There are also "split table 1 d.

If it's still too hard, do it once and wrap it in a sub - VI, called for example "SecondHalf1D.VI". Of course, you probably also need a logical deal with cases where the size of the array is not an even number.

  • USB to serial port, Com port to use.

I have Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate, evga 58 MB Intel i7 950 3.06 GHz, 6 GB ram, many locations for usb. I have a weather station "Oregon Scientific WMR968, I plugged my XP PC via a"usb to serial"cable, it worked well, giving me a com port to use for the software, but it does not work with Windows 7. It installs an input usb device, under the label HID, but not a COM port I have tried many drivers, but she finished in the same way, "peripheral usb entry" NOT a COM port I have tried to install .inf and who does not work either. I tried to update driver, and then point to the .inf and still no good. How to do this job, please. ?
    Frustrated,
    Robert

    Hi Androman,

First of all I suggest you to check if the Oregon Scientific WMR968 is compatible with windows 7 or not.

Check out the link given below to the windows Compatibility Center 7.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

If it is not compatible with Windows 7, then install the drivers in XP sp2 compatibility mode and also to contact the manufacturer for drivers that are updated that are compatible with windows 7.

Select the option for windows XP sp2 and install the drivers.

Which ports or a range of ports are used for the cRIO by OR for:

    LabVIEW development system

Manager of distributed system of NOR

    Thanks in advance.

There are a few posts about this already on the forums - you might find them useful:

I believe that UDP (beforehand) and TCP (for communications) is used by MAX.

  • VADP using NBD: network on an ESX Server port is used to transfer data?

I went through a bunch of VMware documentation (including the API guide) and can't seem to find that this documented anywhere.

I have an environment where we bringing ports 10 GbE online on a couple of ESX servers and want to make sure that traffic VADP uses this port. This will be a dedicated dish network so I guess that ESX will be smart enough to resolve the proxy host (it is with NetBackup 7.1 with VMware host access), to see which network its on and send the traffic through the appropriate interface.

If you have several defined VMkernel ports (for example, a dedicated for vMotion and the other on a VLAN separate or link dedicated 10GbE for NFS data warehouses or dedicated to the traffic of mangement), what is the logic to decide which VMkernel port to use?

I know with ESXi, it changes a little because it is no longer a service console port and when configuring a new network port you have only the types of connections for the Virtual Machine (VM group of port) or VMkernel. But when you add a VMkernel port, you can specifically select the port properties to include: vMotion, logging of fault tolerance and traffic management. I guess the question is: do any of these port properties MUST be selected in order for the traffic of the NFC to use port, or it will use all VMkernel Port... and if so, what VMkernel port (hopefully it will be smart enough to try to use one on the same subnet, if it exists). And if the properties are selected (vMotion, logging of fault tolerance or management traffic), this would specifically EXCLUDE these interfaces for traffic of NBD (NFC)?

Any help or pointers to where this is documented would be great.

    Thank you.

Hard enough. Really don't know where this is documented on the VMware Web site, but could find a document that will tell you what you have already imagined: http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/nuts-and-bolts-netbackup-vmware-transport-methods-and-tcp-ports

Then... 902 TCP/UDP is required to transfer files using NFC. This port will be enabled only on the VMkernel interfaces where you have management traffic. You will need to plan your network, separate network segments in order to run your backup in the best conditions.

And, I agree with you that it should be documented somewhere and there should be some "checkbox" to select the interfaces used to transfer files.

  • Which driver should be used to connect HP 34401 using RS 232

    Hello

I'm using labview for the first time. I want to use the RS 232 cable to connect between Labview and HP 34401 multimeter. Which driver should be used for this purpose? Help, please.

    Thanks in advance!

A search for the HP 34401A on the Instrument Driver Network reveals this page, which should have what you need. If you're using LabVIEW, you will want one of the first two projects.

Also, for future reference, this board is for NI DMMs. For future instrument driver assistance, you will receive more timely and expert information on NI's Instrument Control forum.
