No mono sound in the Viewer

Sometimes I video clips with a mono track included. So, when I play the Clip in the Viewer window, I can´t hear. Just the meter shows me, that there must be a little sound. So I changed my audio output to the local speaker in my mac pro. This works. But why I can't hear anything when I use my Motu 8pre Firewire interface?

In the timeline panel, everything works fine... just solitaire mono tracks in the dosen´t Viewer go to the speakers.

Can anyone help?

  • Click on 'no sound' in the settings, but sounds aren't going away

restarted too.  the sounds are the 'clicks' heard when switching from one screen to another on the web or from one folder to another on your computer

    Hello

As you have already followed the steps for no sound option by default in the Windows sound scheme I suggest you to refer to the steps below and check if changing the values in Registory helps solve the issue.

    (a) open the registry editor.

    Note:

Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    (a) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756

    (b) in the registry editor, navigate to the following registry key:

    HKEY_USERS\. DEFAULT\AppEvents\Schemes

    Create the following value (SZ):

    By default

And give it a value of. NONE

    (c) close the registry editor.

    Note:

New user who will now log on to this computer will have the model sounds "No. Sounds" applied.

  • docking stations for the view

Sansa claims the im413 Altec Lansing is compatible with the view.  He also had a remote control and FM, these two elements I want.  However, I called Altec Lansing and they did not like being reported as being compatible with the view because it has not been tested.  I emailed Sansa about this and they told me to call their 866-726-3475 tech support number, which I frankly don't believe that they are particularly useful or well informed.  Once, when I called they told me to download the software for something else, that I wonder. Well, that didn't work and I called again and was told by another representative of different to use software. Why aren't all on the same page?

In any case, I would be grateful if someone had actual experience with the view using a docking station where I can use the remote control and FM.

    Thank you

    Hello

I have the iM413, and as long as you are ready to use the new firmware, then it will work fine...  All functions of work, on the remote and the player himself...  Not to mention that the systems sounds GREAT!

  • NVIDIA HDMI output - not plugged in (?) = no sound on the TV, but great picture!

    Hello

I'm not very experienced in the computer, but I know now that the connection from your laptop to a flat screen HDMI cable TV is not as easy as it should be...

Description of the problem: no sound, but the big picture on the TV when connecting to my HP dv7 entertainment PC through HDMI to it. Specifically: for NVIDIA HDMI output icon is grey and not active in the "pilot sounds and reading - menu" - you can not simply give (other icons that are active are: speakers and headphones double, double independent headphone & SPDIF). You can also see the TV under "Control panel" > "Devices and printers" - so the tv is connected. In Device Manager, I see that I have 2 sound processors (?) "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" and "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" - I don't know one that is used for the HDMI connection.

I have at my own risk installed the latest driver (?) for my graphics (NVIDIA Geforce 9600 M GT) - before I did, the NVIDIA HDMI output icon participated actively in the "... sound"-menu (so you can turn it, etc.)- but no sound on the TV and then either...

I suspect there to be something wrong with the drivers for my graphics card or processor... or maybe you can't send sound to the tv with my cable? It's a standard HDMI cable...

Laptop model nr: HP Pavilion dv7-1094eo

Operating system: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit don't know ServicePack... .

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

HDMI cable, tv LCD Philips model: 37PFL7605H

If someone could help please advise me on what drivers to install or anything else, I would be very grateful!

    / Marie

First do you uninstall IDT High-Definition Audio CODEC Driver and NVIDIA GeForce 9600 M GT drivers by going to

    Control Panel\Programs\Programs and features.

In case if request you a restart of the computer, please make sure that restart you one after the other. Do NOT avoid restarting the computer.  So go ahead and download view updated and audio drivers from the HP website here.

Yet once, after installation if you are prompted to restart the computer, go ahead and restart the computer. Once done, go to:

Control Panel\Hardware and the sound and click on sound. On the Read tab, right-click on the white (empty) space and you will see 2 options (see the disabled devices and show disconnected devices). Make sure that both options are checked for all devices listed reading.

Now, right click on the option to output HDMI device and make sure that the option "set as default device" is selected for the sound of the external display during playback picture on external monitor.

  • How to put two mono tracks in the usual stereo display in the edition of Audition 3 mode?

    Hi guys,.

Previously, I had no problem simply using Adobe Audition 3 for simple recording and editing of a stereo stereo power not from mixer... well almost no problem... :-)

Today, I'm having a bad day, or maybe it's because I'm used to be retired... :-)...

Query: How can I put two mono tracks in the usual stereo display in Edit so they both display correctly there?

    • Put simply, I have two mono wav files. Let's call them Left_wav and Right_wav.
    • I can't seem to get imported into a new clean Edit (Normal stereo track route) view that Left_wav is half top and Right_wav is on the bottom half.
    • Whenever I try, I just get either Left_wav or Right_wav taking up the whole of the edit view. that is, it shows just a track.

Anyone who is familiar with hearing 3 help kindly can? I'd appreciate a simple step-by-step... I can't see where I'm going wrong, and it's driving me bananas :-).

    Thank you

There are different ways to do the Audition 3. Here is one.

Open two mono files separately in the edit mode. Then convert Left_wav in stereo by going to the types of samples to change/convert then under stereo channels with Mix of 100% left and right 0% mixture. This will give you a new stereo file with Left_wav on the top channel. Then go to the Right_wav and copy it to the Clipboard using edit/copy. Return to your new stereo file and activate right channel change only in the right channel Edit Channel/edit/change. Then make sure that the cursor is at the beginning of the stereo file and paste Right_wav into the channel at the bottom of the new stereo file. Finally, save as.

  • Is there a way to turn off the sound on the source clips?

I need a bunch of GoPro filmed by a drone of the screen and the sound is the mind numbing! How can I disable it? Thank you.

Select the clips you want to keep silent in the project Panel and once you have all selected them, go to the Clip menu > edit > Audio channels and set the number of Audio tracks to zero {0} and click OK. You will get a dialog box warning that this will not affect clips already placed in the timeline panel, click OK. This will make the Video clips of single source clips.

To restore the audio after viewing the source for use clips in the timeline, repeat the foregoing and redefine the Audio tracks on the number they were before you the muffler for viewing.

  • When will be purged from the client of the View object properties.

    Hello!

When will customer properties (settings-> general-> Custom properties VO) to purge the View object?

Description of the custom properties is these properties are name / value framework for accessing execution.

My case is: dynamically set some channels in the VO properties and use it.
It works fine most of the time. But sometimes, these properties are missing. know when to leave intact page for a little while (about 20 minutes before the session expires).

So my question is: what will miss these properties?

I suppose it could be linked to the Application system of the State as your are hanging in AMS. And I'm might passivate. But in [this | http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/b31974/bcstatemgmt.htm] document shows any view to the level of custom data objects will be saved during passivation. So it is not the point.

    Can someone help?
    Thank you! :-)

    Hello

Custom properties are not intended to be used as a data store, but to provide the setting for the items (a feature that is intended for highly reusable VO report). Sounds the informaton you set properties is lost during passivation of the view object.

  • Can you turn off the shutter sound on the factory unlocked iPhone to the Japan 7?

Can you turn off the shutter sound on the factory unlocked iPhone to the Japan 7?

I am going to Japan November 2016 and plan to buy unlocked (no sim) iphone to use in my country (Thailand) 7.

However, I have read some post on 'mode of politeness' in Japanese phone but the conclusion is not clear whether you can disable shutter sound (without sim) unlocked iphone 7 or not. Then, someone could share on the current situation?

    Thank you

No, its required by Japanese law shutter. Even if the iPhone is

is no longer in Japan, you will not be able to turn off the shutter sound.

You should also check with the seller to be sure you can get the

iPhone unlocked from the Japanese wireless provider to use with your

carrier in Thailand. And check that the iPhone is unlocked before leaving the

    retailer.

  • iOS 10 no sound from the speaker of the ear or EarPods

After update of iOS 10 (in 6 s iPhone and 5s) I have a problem then to make or receive calls. Most of the time it is no sound from the speaker of the ear or EarPods and I have to press the speaker during calls to listening. To get back what I have my iPhone and open it again. This seems to happen after that I used once the EarPods.

Be aware that I have consume EarPods in 90% of my calls and iOS 9 I had no problem at all.

    Hello Billy78GR,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that you met the receiver and headphone audio problems after update to iOS 10. I know that it is extremely important to be able to hear others during calls. I'm happy to help you to get this resolved with you.

First of all, I recommend you restart. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below to restart.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

As you use the headphones on most of your calls, I recommend checking and removal of dust or debris from the helmet. If the problem persists, please refer to the additional steps in the link below.
If you do not hear a person, a call or a voice message or if the sound is not clear on your iPhone

    Have a great day!
