No mouse works, all recognized devices, the strange slider movement
I have Vista Ultimate 64 - bit SP2. I have a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and used a Microsoft wireless mouse and a Logitech Wireless Mouse Nano to test.
I have been using the MX mouse for a long time without any problem. Then the mouse froze on screen. I restarted and since no mouse really work.
The Manager of devices, says all is OK and shows the most recent drivers for all. I can remove all devices, reboot and install only a mouse - same problem.
I have two big clues here. ((1) the device is recognized by Windows and works correctly (according to DevMan anyway) and 2) there is a few clicks of a mouse - but it's very random, strange little movement and is NOT connected to any movement of the physical mouse.
The last clue makes me think that the e/s of the USB mouse was redirected to nowhere and the system is looking at a communication port that occasionally sends a signal interruprets Vista as being the movement of the mouse.
Also, when I first installed the mouse Nano (same USB interface wireless), he worked for a few minutes, then frozen. I can't fix that, except turn off the mouse and turn it back on - then it may or may not work again.
I also have a wireless Microsoft (not even wireless) keyboard, and who never stopped working. I can browse almost anything with the keyboard.
I removed all Windows updates and uninstalled the drivers and software for all mouse devices. I also uninstalled all programs recently installed/updated and then rebooted - no change.
The point TO make is that the cursor on the screen moves sometimes randomly on its own in ways weird and that it is absolutely not related to a physical movement of the mouse. The same motion occurs when no physical device is connected and no driver or other software on the machine for the mouse.

Leave the mouse works all of a sudden
Original title: mouse problem
Hello
Today, my mouse works fairly suddenly. I had not installed a new software or hardware which could have come into conflict with the mouse. In addition, I tested in the other USB ports on my computer nothing works. The mouse works on our family another computer, is not that the mouse is broken. Other USB devices on my computer work always correctly, so I am at a loss as to why the mouse leave so suddenly. In addition, it seems that the system restore lacks the previous points can I restore, while the option is out.
Do that, does not work. I noticed that I have a Code 43 error in Device Manager now if that helps at all. I tried to reinstall my chipset also for USB drivers, but that did not help either.
{edit} I managed to solve the problem. It seems that my 1394 port was interfering with my ports USB in a certain way. I tried uninstalling the driver for that and restart and now the mouse works fine. Thank you very much for your help!

I would like to get COP mouse works again
Hi frankdnls640,
(1) remember you to make changes prior to this problem?
(2) what is the number of brand and model of your computer (and mouse)?
Method 1: If it's a USB (Universal Serial Bus) mouse, unplug and reconnect the mouse into a different USB port and then check to see if it works fine.
Method 2: Using the keyboard, run the fixit available in the link below.

Exit button doesn't work is not on the Master Slide
I have an exit with the attached exit action button on my e-learning project in model of slides, poster so all on all other content model of slides. This, in turn, displays the button exit on any slide I want to add to my project. Is there any reason the exit action attached to this button may not work? Whenever I am in my project to examine, the button never closes the project. It is just click, but does nothing. Do I need to have the action of the button available on the slides to master CONTENT rather than the main model of slides?
@wc @ fmiosa as moderator, I have to ask you to NOT post answers that are wrong or mislead other users of Captivate. I considered that the deletion of your response, but you are going to insult me (new) if I do. When you say "Buttons do not work when, on the model of slides", your response seems to say that you can insert buttons on a master slide, but they never work? This is not good at all: If you can insert a button on a master slide must be a button of form because the other buttons cannot be inserted on a master slide at all. Apparently you missed the appearance of form buttons, almost 4 years ago. They are interactive objects only you can use on slides of masters, you can insert on the first slide and the time for the rest of the project, you can use them on the question slides and slides of score. If you always use the Captivate 5.5 or before, which mentions at least in your response, adding that this could change in future versions

So the title says pretty much everything that, but I would stay again.
There is a small balloon that floats to the top in the lower left corner of the browser window when you hover over a link on a page with a mouse. The address of the link leads, indicates in the ToolTip.
However, if the link in question is in the lower left corner of the Web page, the ToolTip floats high above right. Then he disappears to reappear a few milliseconds later. This blinking persists; You can neither do address or click on the link. By pressing several times shows RMB RMB menu for the link, which finally allows you to copy the link location and paste it into the address bar.Try disabling the Redirect Remover extension if you have. Disabling this extension worked for me which allows the address bar that appears at the bottom left when you move to a link to the right in certain situations.

Original title: Microsoft mouse and keyboard Center
Hello
I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before. But I just bought a mouse Microsoft Sculpt comfort, downloaded and installed M and K Center. But it does not recognize my mouse, I plugged the mouse to my laptop until I downloaded M and K Center and it worked fine, but all I want to do is program the side button.I use a Lenovo ThinkPad X 61 with the latest drivers for Bluetooth and Win 7 Pro.Is there something I need to do to get my mouse to be recognized by the centre of keyboard and mouse?MHi Matt,
Please write to us.
I recommend you to uninstall the drivers of mouse from the Device Manager, then use this link http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/sculpt-comfort-mouse#support to install the drivers. Please select the operating system and the correct version before installing.
Same thing applies to the mouse and keyboard Centre has as well, use the same link to install the updated drivers after you uninstall from the control panel.
Nice day!

USB not recognized device error with the Logitech Wireless Mouse
Greetings, Im having trouble getting my recognized usb wireless receiver. Worked fine on Vista premium edition... recently updgraded to windows 7 do not work now? I tried Device Manager to scan for hardware changes... no luck. I tried the Drivers but logitech claims it is compatible with windows 7 and you don't need all drivers... would appreciate any help!
Thank you
StemI also had this problem, but finally found a solution. You need to reset the motherboard. It is more than a simple reset of the computer as the motherboard continues to feed into "stop". You must turn off the system and unplug a few minuets. In the case of my laptop, I also removed the dough for good measure. Then I turned it back and the mouse worked without trouble or the same recognition that there had never been a problem.
Credit when it is earned, I found the solution here http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/usb-device-not-recognized/

CS6 is not supported because there is no financial sense to spend money trying to 'fix' an old program to run on a new hardware/OS with (no guarantee of success), or a willingness of users to pay for repairs when new versions are already in operation. There is no reason why you can't continue working in CS6 - do - if you don't need the features that have been added since then. You just need to run it on a compatible hardware.

I am running Vista Home Premium on a laptop Compaq Presario F700. It is listed in the list of computers of readers, it is listed in Device Manager. The lites drive that the computer boots so I know it is detected. When you run itunes or media player the player does not open. When I push the drive button it will not open. It opens with a paperclip in the exit hole. It cannot read a CD or a DVD. None of the media players even recognize there is a disc in the drive. I tried to run fixit, but it would not drive either. I tried restoring from a previous backup, without change.
Hello
Check / settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 so watch the screen as it starts - place CD/DVD
1st in the boot order (remember to put it at the time where the fact). Then put in a DVD to boot Windows and see if the driver works.
If it doesn't then it's a hardware problem.
=======================================
If the drive has worked in the test above, that these can help:
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
