• OfficeJet 7610: upgrade to Win10, no longer have the option of scanning in the HP software.

  I upgraded to Win10 and had to reinstall my HP software.  Now the HP software shows that the printer.  I don't have the option to scan or fax from the HP software.   Ran the HPDoctor and said msg that some updates have been made to correct the scanner.  Ran the scan test and got a msg that the scanner was not available, but I was able to scan from the software Windows FAX/scan very well.  Help!  I prefer to use the HP software for scanning.

  Have your downloaded and installed the full features software?

• No option for "Scan to Computer" Lion mountain on Mac

  I installed the latest drivers from "full functionality" for my Officejet Premium 8600, v12.23.0.

  I'm running OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion).

  I want to be able to scan directly from the printer to my laptop, using the function "Scan to Computer".  However, when I open the HP utility, I see no option for "Scan to Computer" in scanning settings.  I don't see options for 'Scan to email' and "Scan to Network Folder".

  In the search of these forums, only suggestions that I found are to install the full featured of the printer drivers, I have already done.

  Click your desktop, then click on the menu to go to the top and select Applications you should see the Hewlett-Packard folder.

  If you do not see such a folder, run the installation once more, make sure you check the HP recommended software during the progress of the installation...

• C6380 Scanning Software hangs on my book of Julie

  I have a new book by Julie and the C6380 all-in-One software installed and connected to my wireless printer using a NetGear Rounter.  I can print fine but when I try to use the client software to analysis the software crashes and stops.  I can see the printer's built-in web browser, so I know that I have a connection to the printer.  It seems that there is something wrong with the Mac of the HP scanning software.

  I think I solved my problem.  I found an application in the folder of the HP software on my Mac called HP Scan Destinations.  When I tried to run this application, it reported a corrupted file and gave me the option to restore the default values.  After you restore the default settings, I found that I could run a scan of the device without the scanning application manager to crash.  Seems that the installation of software process corrupted a file.

• Problems with the HP scanning software

  When I scan documents with my 5520 HP all-in-one by using the scanning software HP standard for Mac OSX that comes with the printer, it seems that the scan is perfect on the screen in the scanning software, but when I try to save the image as a .pdf file, the result is an A4 page where half left from the original image I stretched to fit the A4 page. Anoyone know the same thing? Is there a solution to this problem?

  Try scanning from your Mac. Use Image Capture app in your Applications folder.

  Click once on the scanner on the left side, and then click Show details on the background. Along the right side you will see MANY options for scanning and recording.

  1. first of all uninstall the software

  • Click on start button, then go to programs > HP > Officejet 8600 and click on Uninstall.

  2. then go to Control Panel > programs and features

  • Officejet 8600-click and then click on uninstall a program
  • 

  3. then download the software on the HP web:

  •  HP Officejet 8600 - drivers and full software features - Windows 7 64 bit

  4 and install with the downloaded software.

  Hello @misstickles , welcome to the forums!

  I read you post and wanted to share some information with you. The Officejet 6500 a Plus isn't an available pilot of Mavericks, there is therefore no scanning software for this device with your OS X from HP.

  However, check this link for the options you have. You always have the option to scan with the Apple software update driver.

• HP Envy 5532: No option to scan the document and save it as a pdf from the computer updated for Windows 10

  My computer updated 'Windows 10' I don't seem to have the ability to save a scanned as pdf document. The drop down menu does not give me option pdf.

  The default setting is 'photo' and there is no option to scan multiple pages into a single document. It's really annoying because it was fine before and I do not know how to change the settings or even if it can be changed.

  If you have not done so, remove the existing printer software, download and install the full feature software.

  My printer Photosmart used previous scanning HP Solutions software that had the ability to scan to a file RTF using OCR. For the 5520, I see only one option of scanning to a PDF file. Is it possible to add several file format options? I tried to use the HP Soluyions software, but it does not recognize the new printer.

  As you can find listed in the specification of digitization, text files like TXT or RTF are not supported by the HP software:

  You can use a solution of OCR 3rd party to analyze as editable text.

  I have installed succesffuly printer (cable network installation).  However, I can't locate the HP scanning software and there is no icon.  No HP point either in my function/starting the program.  When I try to download the software, drivers, etc. on the site, I get only an option 'uninstall '.  Should I uninstall and reinstall everything, or is there a way I can install the software to scan to my computer without doing a complete uninstall first?

  I looked at the product page for this printer and I noticed there are 2 packages of software of their choice: a basic print/scanning and a complete solution package.

  Did you use the basic print/scan package or the complete solution?

  If you use the basic print/scanning, you will not get the drivers and nothing else. If it is the package you want, you need to use something like windows scanning solution for scanning.

  If you want all software, like what would happen on the cd in the box, then you must choose the complete solution. This will give you the scanning software provided with the cd in the box. In this case, it would be best to uninstall what you already have on your system, re-boot and re - install this new package.

  Since I upgraded to OS Mavericks 10.9, the scanning HP application no longer works. I've seen messages on the download of new software, but with my printer, Photosmart C7250, there is no HP software to download, the driver is integrated into the OS (I think).  I trashed the old HP scanning software by using the HP uninstaller application, but now I can't find where to download the latest version of HP.

• No option for multitimbral software instruments

  As the title suggests it seems no longer to be an option to create software multitimbral instruments in the last 10.2.2 release. I tried to create a new project with 3 SampleTank and I get this window below. I will create 10 tracks with SampleTank, but only the #10 track is online on MIDI channel 1, other tracks do not produce any noise or receive any MIDI input.

  Anyone know of a solution for this? The only solution I can do is to open a previous project where I had 3 SampleTank multitimbral mode, erase all data of the song and save it as a template. It works but there is a rather tedious and exhaustive solution.

  Switch from Logic Pro X > Preferences > advanced tools and turn them

  Or, if you already have

  Logic Pro X > Preferences > display > general

  Deselect the option "show icons in the new dialog box titles.

Printing works fine. However the same scanner software will not load when I try to use the scanner. Someone help please I really need to make use of the scanning function
