  I connected toshiba Satellite C50D-A-139 (windows 7) through the port (using an hdmi cable) HDMI to plasma tv, but the TV screen only appears "he don't no signal.

  According to specification for laptop, your laptop didn't come with preinstalled operating system. I checked the Toshiba download page and your laptop is fully supported for Win7, so I just hope that you have installed all necessary drivers and tools and utilities.

  A few questions for you:
  Are all the drivers, especially the chipset and display driver installed correctly?
  FN keys work in general (Flash cards shown when you press the FN key)?
  You have activated the right port on your TV?

  Unless you have a desktop Sony (not all in one), then Yes you can replace the video card.  But if you have Sony laptop, you CANNOT swap out.  Sony laptops have an integrated video card / onboard.  To change the video card is to replace the motherboard (and no, can not exchange for an another one-motherboard motherboard are constructed for this particular unit and plug).

  Yes, the optical port of the TV would be able to sound output from devices connected using HDMI connection. Make sure that the settings on the source device is set to 5.1 surround sound output.

  I recently bought a desktop PC HP ENVY 750se who has what I believe to be 2 HDMI in ports which do not seem to work and are not displayed in the "devices" list in the Device Manager. There is also a HDMI port output that works very well.

  I was trying to connect a digital SLR camera to the HDMI in ports to capture live streams.

  Also, I just checked the details of the product from the order and these HDMI in ports is there are not listed. Yet they are on the PC in an expansion slot.

  I hope you find your experience of positive Support Forum!  I understand that you are looking for help with he HDMI ports on your system.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  I suspect that the 2 HDMI ports which you are entered are actually two output ports associated with the onboard graphics, which could be disabled if another dedicated graphics card is installed.  Please see the following documents, in particular one for the motherboard: HP ENVY 750 - 170se computer CTO product specifications and configurable options, HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications of the motherboard, Thimphu.

  In the second document, if you look at the section entitled "I/o Ports and riders", you will find the following comment ' 4.HDMI: 2 - not activated when there is a graphics card installed.

• Can't click out-port thread overset text

  I had this happen a few times in recent days, and I just worked around it. But now I REALLY want to manually screw my overset text to a new text box.

  However, the only way I can find to do this is to click on the text out-port in excess '+' and load my cursor.

  The problem is that no amount of click should load the cursor!

  I am able to do this with several text boxes in my file, but sometimes it simply does nothing.

  The text in question box is inside another text box (following an example found elsewhere for hanging setting, anchored thumbnails alongside my text). I dragged the box around to make sure that I select the correct area, and indicators of selection box are all there (all the control points). But when I click the excess/out port nothing happens.

  If the text box is not already selected, click on the port in excess/out selects the text box - so I'm clearly by clicking on the correct object (it is not hidden or in another layer).

  I guess it's either because the text box is inside another, or because of an attribute of the text box. But it was pretty fussy raise this set as I needed, and I really want to avoid from scratch.

  Any ideas?

  Blocks of text Inline can not screw in another frame. Sorry - you will have to think in a different way.

  What is the reason for which you created a text frame online? You may be able to work around that.

  You can not!  iTunes movies are DRM protected and can only be read

  through iTunes on a computer authorized Apple ID or an iDevice.

  I created a doc of Framemaker using the DITA Open Toolkit and related to Robohelp to generate Webhelp. I use Adobe Tech Comms Suite v2, incidentally.

  When the publication in Robohelp If spacing between words is really wide, about double or triple the norm. I have looked at the paragraph Designer in the framework and you see nothing obviously wrong and style in Robohelp sheets displayed something strange no more. Anyone got any ideas where I should be looking?

  Help apprecicated - I searched in this market and stop for a few weeks now.

• HDMI output on Qosmio G40 - horizontal line on the screen

  I connect my Qosmio G40 to an 46F86BDX of Samsung LCD via HDMI. On all my films, when there is a shift, I see a horizontal line on the screen. Sometimes is in the middle of the screen, sometimes lower.

  I tried my pc with another TV and a different cable, but the same problem. Someone knows the same thing?

  If I understand issue you this horizontal line appears ONLY on and external TV and ONLY if there is some faster movements of the pic.

  If so, then I think it has nothing to do with G40 Notepad.
  I have read that those issues could be related to the new TVs LCD then to watch movies in high definition.

  I think you should read a few tests and reports on similar issues on LCD TVs

  I found a very interesting document from Toshiba which provides a step by step instruction how connect a Qosmio G30 to a TV using the HDMI port and why there is no audio over HDMI on Qosmio G30 under Vista.

  _The paper said: _

  (1) open the "Control Panel" to click 'Start'-> 'Settings'-> 'Control Panel '.
  2) click on 'Hardware & Sound.
  (3) left-click on "his".
  (4) a window appears where you can select the playback device. Left click on 'device of digital output (S/PDIF).
  (5) after selecting the digital output, click on 'Set as default', then 'apply '.
  (6) now the signal must be properly transferred correctly to HDMI.

  Check this box:
  1. fix a television for the Qosmio G40 HDMI while both units are State in a "powered off the coast.

• Tecra A8 and Adv Port Replicator III - no audio output from the port replicator

  I have a Tecra A8 anchored on an Advanced Port Replicator III. All ports (network, USB, video) with the exception of the AUDIO ports seem to work well. I can get sound from the headphone jack on the front of the A8, but nothing since the station docking ports. Is there a docking station driver or something I need to install to get the sound from the docking station not the laptop?
