No output message in the reminder of the event reminder register

Hello world

Nice day. I've created a diagram that uses the DLL of our client. I have a hard time to create because I am not no matter what background or experience this level of .expertise which involves DLL files. The DLL file is a type of Assembly code .net. The DLL file will be used for sending specific commands (i.e. read the Firmware Version, serial numbers, etc.) using a NFC (Sony S380) Player. It is the only means of communication about the product that is a digital watch. The problem is on the VI Ref callback, which implies a dialog box & a Message string for the property of 'DebugResponseReceived' node, there is no output, but the dialog box Message only gives me a message OK or info that I need to get. If I put a breakpoint to unbundle it by name "e", it gives a message in the property node power & the dialog box. both the Message property Node & dialog box have the same performance. Please see my Code.

I'd appreciate your help.

Thank you

Leo

A reminder cannot directly return values. You must use the user parameter of event reminder entry register to pass a reference to a queue, the user event or another way to pass data to a primary application. Research on this forum will be examples, for example here is one I posted years ago (note that screenshots are good, but attached the screws aren't; see further on the wire to correct those): http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-to-interaction-with-Main-VI-from-Net-event-callback/m-p/1064515#...

  • Error TMS in the newspaper of the events endpoint SX20

Hi, I took the reins of the telepresence for our company and I see some weird messages to the event log on our endpoints SX20. An example is attached, but basically every 30 seconds there is a generated TMS error event:

4 Feb 13:25:44.181 a8 appl [1614]: ERROR of TMS 2419780.71: http (this = 0x430cb2f0): failed with (Peer certificate cannot be authenticated by the given certificates of AC)

The entries go back to yesterday, but I'm not sure if that's when the question began or newspapers are simply reversal and removal of previous entries

There seems to be no problem with endpoints; they can make fine point to point calls and can be booked through the TMS without problem.

We have done no firmware update (codecs are on the TC7.1.4 firmware version) or of changes in the environment

    That's what worry?

    Thank you

    Brad

I see your SX20 is trying to verify the TMS server certificate and is unable to verify the certificate.

The certificate installed on the TMS server is self-signed by TMS, CA internal to your organization or by a third-party certification authority?  For one who has signed the certificate server TMS, their certification authority is added for the SX20?

If you don't care to check the MSDS server certificate, you can set NetworkServices > HTTPS > VerifyServerCertificate OFF.  However, if you want to check the certificate, you will need to download the certificate of the CA of the organization who signed the certificate for the TMS server.

  • Control the Structure of the event with text file

I'm new relativaly in LabVIEW (experience only about 2 weeks). I am currently control a stepper motor using a structure of the event. Similar to the sample code given by LIFA, I entered my settings how the engine not move away, then press a button on the windows before, and it works this way. I also have other equipment that works as well in LabVIEW, as a transnational step; all components operate individually.

Now, I'm trying to make the more automated system and to ensure that all the different equipment work in the same code. So, I tried to implement a structure of the event using a text as an input file to try to control events. The text file has a table 1 d of numbers going down vertically (only the line numbers change). So, I used a table of index function to take the numbers one by one, use a loop (while loop in this example) to go to the bottom of the column of numbers. However, the event not register the change, even if the indicator shows the value is changing.

Attached, it's my test code and the text file that I use to try to control the structure of the event. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

Oh, now I understand what you tried to say. I'm using a loop and a case structure to activate different events with the entries in the table. I thought case structures and event were the same, but you taught me the event structures are used just for the façade stuff. Thank you all!

  • VI, Structure of the event - script user events

Now, if I remove any of the event and run my script I can add a dynamic user events. If I change the number of gegistration event from 1 to 2. I get error 1. The case of the event is created, but it is not configured for any event.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attached is the VI containing my script.

The user 1 problem script error event should be fixed in LabVIEW 2016. DQMH did a lot of event scripts, but it cannot automatically configure event framework names... the user must do this manually for now.

Sometimes a small part being out of alignment can make a sensor turn off inside the printer, so make sure you put everything back together right first.  Although you to act this way, looks at the printer closely for any broken pieces.  If you do not see what has obviously broken, try to do a hard reset.  Instructions that are below.  If the hard reset does not clear the error, the output bin sensor may be broken.  If this is the case, you will need to get a new printer, as the sensor is not repairable.

    To do a hard reset:
    1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
    3. pull out the power cord from the wall.

  • Using the procedure output parameter in the success message

I have a page process that calls a procedure of database with 2 output parameters.

The source of my page process looks like this:

       matched_count NUMBER;
       unmatched_count NUMBER;
    BEGIN

I would like to be able to display the value of the 2 output settings in the Message of success of the process for the process.

Is there a simple way to do this or I have to create the hidden page items and complete these source code, then reference these? Or even better, can reference variables in the source directly from the success of the process Message?

    Hello

You can use something like this: -.

    apex_application.g_print_success_message: = matched_count | » '|| unmatched_count;

  • How to retrieve messages from the output Message TestStand pane?

The GET GetOutputMessages function of the Engine class is now obsolete. I want to use the OutputMessages object, but I can't expose it within the TestStand sequence editor. Any help is appreciated.

I am convinced that the only way to access that is in the UI called in help Message.

However, you can create your own OutputMessages object and use it:

    Locals.OutputMessages = RunState.Engine.NewOutputMessages)

    Then use:

    Locals.OutputMessages.AsOutputMessages.Add (RunState.Engine.NewOutputMessage ("Hi there", "Hello", OutputMessageSeverity_Information, Nothing))

    Then read us:

    Locals.OutputMessages.AsOutputMessages.Item (0). Message

The only downside to all this is that it is not post, so no user interface do Message in this way.  However, you still get all the features of the OutputMessages.

    Hope this helps,

  • Flatten to a string to send arbitrary objects by messages from the user interface?

    Hi people,

I am trying to send arbitrary data by messages from the user interface defined by the user to my labview interface. Something funny happens then: if I send the data through the message of ui, it seems I have something strange. There is only one character or nothing in the message of the user interface that reached my reminder.

It seems that flatten channel also creates control characters that are interpreted by NI TestStand and Labview not as members of the chain, and for this reason I only get incomplete data. within the action of testand, which creates the flattened data, I put a dialog box to display the string data, and it seems that at least up to 255 (ascii) characters are used.

Is there something like uuencode/uudecode to avoid this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Okidoki, found.

His «binary"produced by «Flatten the string» string Apparently I thought, the LabVIEW data type is incompatible with the API of TestStand from LabVIEW. In conclusion I would classify this as a bug (sorry people, at least there should be documentation) API for LabVIEW TestStand 2014.

As a solution, I use flatten it in XML, which is a printable and human readable 'normal' string.

It was trial and error, and I'm not enjoying this.

  • Outputs produced by the analog input job Retrig delay counter

    Hi all!

First of all, I want to thank everyone on this forum who take the time to answer the questions, this forum has been invaluable to me.  I have a question about delays in adjustment to the pulse output of a counter, like what is described here.  My question is related to another, asked hereon the trigger of an analog signal and producing a pulse for each triggered event.  I have this job and can be seen in the attached vi.  Basically, now I'm able to produce a TTL pulse whenever my analog signal passes a predetermined threshold.  I have also documented the vi to my best understanding, if I have something wrong in the documentation, please let me know.

In any case, now that I have a pulse at each outbreak, I would like to be able to adjust the delay of events so that the pulse is not produced until the period n/20 (n = 0, 1, 2,... (19) what I expect to see is a similar pulse train in 'fig. 2' in the article, where the white pulse is the counter pulse, and the pulse red would be the same as my analog signal.  So, for example, if I had a 281Hz signal, I want to produce a single pulse with a width defined by the user whenever my signal crosses a threshold (it's zero delay: 0/20); This part may be made using the vi attached to this subject.  Now I want to delay this impulse as to each trigger event, a pulse is not produced until 1/20 of the period, or 0,000178 seconds after the trigger.

Looking at my vi, I think that if I change the output channel of the meter to 'CO Pulse Time' and then set the respective initial delay, time and little time, I can get delayed impulses mentioned in the article.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that basically 'big time' controls the pulse width. 'initial period' is what controls how long to wait after the first trigger event is reached, before generating a pulse, but this applies only to the first impulse and not the rest; and finally 'small time' is the time to wait before the next pulse is created.

Earlier today, when I use the CO Pulse Time option, it seemed to work properly for me to a certain degree.  At low frequencies the impulses seem to trigger to each event when the pulse width is set at 2.5% of the period.  When I tested at 281 Hz with a pulse width, 'big time' of 0,000089 sec and without anything wired for the 'initial delay' or 'small time', the impulses seem to ignore systematically each triggers 2... that tells me that something is wrong in my settings, rather than problems with the sample clock.  So I decided to connect '0' to 'small time', but then I got an error message indicating that some time may be less than a value (I forgot what the error message).  So I concluded that I must not understand what these terms mean.

Sorry for the long explanation, but I really need help with this.  So let's say that the first set of data, I want to acquire is at zero delay, such as pulses are generated at each triggering event like how I have my VI now; so, for the next set of data I want pulses to generate 0,000178 seconds after the trigger threshold; so, for the data set third, I want to pulses to generate 0,000356 seconds after the trigger threshold; and so on... How should I do for this?  Thank you very much!

    Hello!

Please post on the Forums OR! I think the main issue here is that you are sampling not fast enough to catch all of your high. So you set your high dry 0,000089. You will need to substantially increase the frequency of sampling in order to catch all these. Something around 25 k should do the trick.

To the extent where using the time counter Pulse, you're totally on track. I think that the use that the delay will do the job.

I hope this helps! Let me know!

  • How can I get help outlook express? When I send a mail, I get an error message indicating the e-mail was sent not.

Had problems with Outlook Express.  When I send a mail, I get an error message indicating the e-mail was sent not.  The e-mail has been sent, but it never leaves the output area.  I have to go and delete the e-mail.  Then I don't have a folder of e-mails, except in my deleted file.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

    Compact often as specified above.

    And backup often.
