No picture on Toshiba Regza TV connection via a desktop pc VGA cable

Hello

I need help to connect my desktop PC Fujitsu Siemens for my Toshiba Regza 37 '' TV via a VGA cable.

I bought a VGA cable, assuming it would be plug-and-play work, far from it.
What happens is that when I connect to PC & TV VGA cable and select mode PC the screen just flickers / flashes a black screen.

I read a few articles that you have to press FN + F8 on laptop computers, but I don't have this option on my desktop pc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Cheerz

Hello

FN + F8 enable and disable the WiFi network!
You must use the FN + F5 key combination to switch to the external monitor.

Please also check if the VGA channel is activated on your TV.
Then use the FN + F5 for the external video output switching

  • Can Ping but not connect via Remote Desktop - how to change the settings of the outside LAN adapter

I have a Windows Server 2012 machine connected to a Windows 7 Pro machine via a switch.

Internet is shared on the Windows Server and the port sharing network has a static ip address. Similarly, the port connected to the Windows 7 Pro has a static ip address. I was able to desktop Windows 7 remotely from the server without any problem until very recently.

Recently, I had to change some properties of the LAN on the machines and I was changing the gateway by default for the Windows 7 Pro, when I was hunting from my remote desktop session and I was not able to reconnect since. I don't know if I accidentally blew the subnet or the default gateway, but I know for sure that I do not touch the part of the parameters ip address.

In addition, I can't ping the server computer but I am not able to connect via RDP. Please suggest any possible causes and solutions for this case. Both computers are remote and I can connect via the internet to the server computer.

As my title suggests, I'm trying to find out if there is a way to reset the settings of the adapter LAN from Windows 7 to my server and proceed from that.

Please let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you.

  • MCE IR remote stops working when connected via Remote Desktop Win7

I recently added an IR remote for my computer to Windows 7 (32 bit Ultimate) that I use mainly for playback of mp3. The remote control is only an AVS Gear MG-IR01BK Windows Vista/Window7 MCE Remote control infrared works by attached USB "infrared transceiver eHome.  When I physically connect the machine IR remote works perfectly; as soon as I connect via remote IR Office stops responding.  I had to configure the Audio remotely to RDP to get this to work correctly, but I can't find any setting that controls in response to the infrared remote control.  My quest for answers has turned up nothing so far, someone has suggested?

Thanks for the suggestion.  At thegreenbutton.com behavior that I have reported was confirmed by others (the MCE Remote control is a HID device, so is related to the "console"). VNC is a viable alternative to remote desktop. I ended up using TightVNC (RealVNC purchase required for support of Windows 7), and the infrared remote control continues to work when I access the machine via the VNC viewer.   I want to remote desktop could provide this capability, but at least I have a working with VNC solution.

  • How do you keep users to connect via the desktop remotely on another?

    Use: Windows 2008 R2
    Connection method: connection Remote Desktop

We have users insist on granting of their login and password to another user if that person can connect. Even when they have their own login!

So what happens is the the two #1 can be saved in on the job server all log in user #2 in the server, with the same login, closing at #1. While I can only educate them to use their own connections, so the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make them drink. :(

What I have and I'm not finding, is a way to have the system notify User #2 that login is already in use, try again later.  I would like to accomplish this through Group Policy.

Thanks in advance for any help!

  • DeskJet 6940 connected via ethernet to the airport cable, do not print

    Hello

I used to run my HP Deskjet 6940 printer using a USB connection. I recently installed an Apple Airport Extreme so I can print wireless. If necessary, the printer is connected to the airport by using an ethernet cable and turned on the light green network. On the advice of a HP rep by phone, I uninstalled all old HP software and reinstalled HP software downloaded from the HP website.

When I try to add the printer to my 'system preferences', it opens a panel that contains the following options:

Protocol: Automatically selects "line printer daemon - LPD.

Address: Empty but allows me to type in the IP address assigned

    Print using: no idea.

More than two things: when I open the HP Device Manager and select "set up a network, information network configuration printer seems in good condition but the Manager does not allow me to 'apply'.  Not sure if this is important but no the printer utilities appear in my folder utlities since the new software download. Thank you.

Looks like you are using a Mac.

First of all, the driver for the Deskjet 6940 is built into Mac OS.  You really didn't need to download additional www.hp.com (sorry for the bad advice) stuff.

Next, we'll check that the printer is on the network.  In Safari, select bookmarks, display all bookmarks.  Select Hello in the left pane, and then check the Deskjet 6940 appears on the list of devices on your network.

Then, follow these instructions to reset the print Mac subsystem: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1341

Now add the printer to the Print & Fax under System Preferences applet by pressing the [+] button.  The Deskjet 6940 should be among the kind Hello from printers.  Select it and press Add.

I think that should do it.

  • Satellite L300-1AQ connection to Toshiba Regza 37 '' LCD AV series 37AV505DB

I think buying the Satellite L300-1AQ, how will I be able to connect to my Toshiba Regza 37 '' LCD?

The LCD has no HDMI VGA port only 2, is a Toshiba laptop equipped with an HDMI port?
What is the most cost-effective way on the connection of all laptops Toshiba to my LCD TV?

    Thanks for your help...

    Hello

AFAIK the L300-1AQ supports only RGB (VGA port) port.
This port provides only the analog signal and I doubt that you will be able to connect to the HDMI port because you cannot convert an analog signal into a digital signal.

I put t know the other ports that is supported by the Toshiba Regza LCD 37 ", but I think that in this case, the HDMI port is not useful.

  • laptop connected hp g56 to toshiba regza tv but no sound... Help, please! : )

Hi, I am looking to connect my laptop g56 to my tosiba tv regza.

I managed to get the fine photo using a vga cable but with no sound. After a bit of research and asking questions, I was told to do a plug to rca (red and white) cable, connect the plug to my laptop headphone plug and the rca to the corresponding ports of the TV. Done that and there is still no sound coming out of the tv!

What I need to download a special driver or something to make the sound go out the TV or is it better to go buy a hdmi cable?

Any advice would be really appreciated!

    Hello

A VGA output is only able to carry a video signal - I strongly suggest that you forget about yourself and get an HDMI cable to connect to your TV.  There is no need to buy a high-end cable, just a stanadard HDMI cable is very well - I never found no difference in the quality of output.

    Kind regards

  • Toshiba 40XV733 - external connection from DVD player problem

    Hello

I can't watch DVDs on my REGZA 40XV733 when connected via HDMI to S0ny VX450 of RDR.

I guess it has something to do with HDCP and HDMI version.
I heard that in some cases, only 1.4 cable will work.
    Or buy the 2.0?

    Thanks in advance.

What happens when you connect the player to the TV? No picture at all? Have you checked with another cable first? Both devices must support playback of DVD via HDMI. Therefore, please provide more information on the problem.

  • Audio transmission of HDMI to SCART on Toshiba REGZA TV 46SL863

    I have a Toshiba REGZA TV 46SL863

I use a home theater 5.1 for audio from the TV via a port SCART (only possible connection)

However, when I receive a signal via HDMI (my ps3) I can't get the sound to play on the home theater. The question is:

    * Is it possible to transmit the audio signal from a digital source to the SCART? *

If not, what devices should I buy for those who do? Unfortunately, my 5.1 only accepts entries via a port SCART...

Hmm I never tried this link, but I guess that it is not possible to mix digital and analog signals.

In my case, I connected the PS3 directly to my HiFi receiver.
    PS3-> HDMI-> HiFi-> HDMI--> LCD

and generally it s common way how such device must be connected.

  • Portege M700 - 3 G-connection via Novatel & T-Mobile

    Hello
My M700 is around the age of 12 months and now I tried to connect via a 3G connection to the internet. The build-in 3G connection manager Novatel (called MobiLink) offers 3 pre-installed configurations, none of them work for my T-Mobile SIM card.

I can't find any clues (Toshiba or Novatel or T-Mobile) how to set up a working connection. I try to create a new profile, but have no idea on demand "APN:" or other necessary parameters.

Is there anyone with experience on these issues with a useful suggestion?
I know that my T-Mobile card user-number and the ANKLE associated with the SIM card.

    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Hi Riedel,

If I were you I talk with T-Mobile and ask what APN you should use. A digital CAMERA is basically a string that you enter to dictate the software to connect to (e.g. TMobile), T-Mobile will be able to tell you what APN you must try to connect to usually.

    Good luck

  • My facebook page has lost all it's pictures and yet, if I connect with the Explorer, they're all still here? Any ideas?

While on FB a few days ago the page suddenly recharged without any picture although I do not know after pressing something in particular. Despite the closure and reopening, they have not returned. However, when I connect via the Explorer on the same computer the normal FB page with photos appears.

With Facebook on display, click on the site identity button (for more details on this button, see the How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure? section), and then click more information. This will open the page info dialog box.

First, select the permissions tab, make sure that 'Load the Images' is set to allow (default selection should work as well)

Then select the media tab, and then click the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll the list. If any element has the option 'Images of block of (field name)' selected, deselect the option.

This should hopefully solve your problem, but see also the problems that cause to not show images.

Some add-ons can also block images, for example, if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block images.
