  Even if you have 1 icloud account, you should be able to have so many numbers, but beware

  somehow my Messages is having a problem, I think I deleted something related to jabber, when I add a jabber account, it will appear in the message even if I see the account in Accounts preferences. I noticed that com.apple.iChat.Jabber.com was absent she draws so I copied from another mac, but still not solved the problem. Any idea?

  Add A Jabber, you're in Messages > Preferences > accounts

  You are using the icon + Add and then by choosing from others?

  

  In the next section you should choose Jabber

  

  ID Jabber should include the @jabberServerName.com as well as your user name part.

  You should not add a name of GoogleTalk/Hangouts here.

  The name of the server is removed and then fill in the settings of the server on the account tab.

  

  Is the name of the server, you see here what you would expect?

  If you have added to Google it will list gmail.com or googlemail.com, but the Google server is talk.google.com

  If this is the case remove the account and add that Google one.

  (the server in the pic has closed this is why I used it)

  If you see the account in these preferences then check it is enabled (account information pane)

  If you expected to see the buddy list window go to the window Menu and choose to display it.

  When I try to add my Yahoo account for Messages I get this message but the account is not added in preferences accounts. Any ideas how I can add my Yahoo account to Messages?

  Thus, you must connect to your yahoo account (using a browser like Safari)

  Go to settings > account security > passwords for the App manage (create a new password here)

  Then jump on the mail app which is the application of default e-mail on your Mac, and he must ask your new password.

  Now, when you open iMessage, this app should also request your password or if you click on "available yahoo" it should ask for a password and you put this password and it will work. If all goes well.

  I had ongoing issues with my Mail months including Spindumps and just doesn't look good, so I changed the e-mail settings in the past according to the directives of the ISP, but now the incoming server is grayed out, more it's time to see if my overall situation needs some changes. As I am researching the current issue of the evolution of the e-mail settings, I see the information that can be linked to a larger problem, so I'm including that in a larger context.

  I use my Web site for most of my email accounts and received error messages indicating that the certificate is not valid. I contacted Hostway and learned that they have their own encryption and don't require SSL, but they said Apple mail works best if I use their specific settings instead of those I have. The server settings entering my accounts existing messaging site are shaded out and immutable. What is the best way to make changes without causing more problems?

  I tried to move the mail account plist.to the trash and restart hoping that would disable the accounts but it didi not work. Or I sign out to iCloud and make changes?

  In/Library/Application Support / Mail / Online Account Types/com.apple.updated.mailaccounts/MailAccounts.plist, the Account.plist includes an e-mail account which is Ameritech and not logged into my site.

  in Library/Mail/it is V2 and V3. V2 is V2/MailData/Accounts.plist. V3 contains no Accounts.plist. in MailData. I printed the Accounts.plist. and there are 22 pages of data. Each e-mail account is repeated at least three times and it seems connected to the when I made changes to the account settings in the past.

  This may be related to a larger problem because I have error messages related to the e-mail in the console.

  Re: Certificate error. When the message appears you must choose "see the certificate", then select "always Trust ' in keychain."

  CREATE A NEW USER

  Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.

  Place in the new user by logging in under the Apple in the menu bar.

  Log in to the new user.

  You can skip the connection with an Apple ID, unless you want to test an iCloud account. Select continue, then jump.

  Open Mail and add your account. If it's a POP account, make sure that you do not select "remove copy from server after retrieving a message," on the Advanced tab.

  I'm desperate for more help please.

  I have an iPhone 6 + 128 GB running iOS 9.3.4. I just noticed in the last few days or all my notes and all but one of my email accounts have disappeared from my device and I can't seem to get back them! I have travelled abroad (in Greece) for the last four weeks and noticed the question while I was there, but decided to remedy this when I got home.

  I think that my notes may have been attached/linked to my iCloud email address (this email has not been used as my Apple ID and has never been), but when I tried to add this in my mail application I get a message that my account has been blocked for security reasons. So I tried to unlocked do so I can add it to my phone again and hopefully recover the missing notes. I have zero luck with that. During the unlocking process, I have the option to do it via e-mail or security issues. Safety issues tell me that I don't even know that my date of birth and e-mail option sends the email to the address iCloud Apple have locked? !!! Quite ridiculous. I'm really perplexed and a little disgusted by flawed how this reset password unlocking process is. Not to mention the possibility of not being able to recover the notes that I lost and they contain a lot of important information! I have a back up on my PC (Windows), but I fear that the use of this will wipe away anything from my phone that was added after I backed up before my trip abroad or other data.

  I am also having a very hard time to add my gmail email accounts in my mail as application his requesting information server etc, that I simply cannot. I've never met before and I have no idea what caused it. SO I would appreciate some help with this please. I really, really need to solve this problem...

  This looks very suspicious to me - as if someone took over your account.  I guess you try to unlock your Apple ID, through the standard process, and, when're asked you your date of birth, told you that it is incorrect.  This probably means that someone else is in your account.  Never share your Apple ID / password with anyone?  Perhaps they have been compromised, especially during your travels abroad?

  What about adding email accounts in gmail, when you click Settings > mail > accounts > add account, simply choose 'Google' as the type of account and all appropriate server information will be provided for you.

  It is possible with Thunderbird 38 authenticate using oAuth2 instead of the Normal password. This means that you don't have to activate applications less secure on your gmail account.

  When the T-Bird opens in the 21 "iMAC is the OS of Yellowstone, is a small window and I have to manually expand... and when I go to preferences that the popup is too small and cannot move the Info window to read, despite the police being large enough. The popup is static in size so I can't expand. Since the installed version, in the last three weeks, cannot be found because of this problem. Sorry, can take a screen shot for you.
