  Hello, I already bought a copy of games for Windows, Age of Empires 3, I had no trouble installing the first time and I threw the pastic packaging that held the key to subconously product. Then my computer got a virus and I had to have my deleted computer so the game was installed is no longer. now I am trying to install again, but the problem is that I have more the product key.   are you just had a connection problem on site (is still available online) ?

  I bought Age Of Empires 3 using games for windows marketplace.  I downloaded ok and you click on "install".  All went well for a few minutes and then she appeared a dialogue so I could enter a 25-character activation key.  I clicked on 'Show the game keys' she and "key recovery" flashed briefly then displays "no key assigned.  How can I get a key?  I paid for it already and expect it to work.  What should I do to fix this?

  You would have to buy it again.  The key is what you pay in the software, the disks are free, so to speak.  It is because this software is licensed, not sold.  The key is the proof that you are authorized to use the software.

  If you have your proof of purchase (receipt or credit card statement), you can probably go back to the store you bought originally and get free replacement. Policies very well store.

  For the original version of OS that you got with your laptop, you don't need key product for activation. Whenever you install original recovery image Windows is automatically activated.

  In the past product key label was placed on the bottom of the laptop. New model do not have it.
  Unfortunately you can not do more. Valid product key is part of the original image recovery only and cannot be used for any other activation.
