No Signal to the monitor, keyboard, or mouse HP 110-023w running 64-bit Windows 8.1 desktop

My computer (Nr H5P41AA) crashed all of a sudden the other day.  I tried to get as much information as I could when it came down, but everything happened so fast that all I could write were "Imminent failure", "file: hiberfil.sys," and "error Code: 0xc0000411.»

I don't remember to make changes to the system in at least a week of his disappearance, but I can tell you that this machine had a reason strange sleep/wake extended since the day that I brought home.  If I used it for about 10 minutes, it will turn off.  After another 10 minutes or more, it would turn itself back on, and this behavior would continue as long that I didn't stop the system.  Because I used to access the computer several times during the day, this is a not particularly bother me, so I never it investigated further.

In addition, there was a strange situation in the region of defragmentation/optimization, where the drives C and D have been indicated with another player that was something like 23% fragmented, but try as I might, there was no way I could do something with this third disc.  Googling the question gave me an opinion agree that the best thing to do was to leave him alone, that's what I did.

I took to solve my problem of measures have included, check the monitor cable, mouse and keyboard all work by trying on my Windows Vista machine, I had to resurrect this report and seek solutions to my dilemma.  I also tried a DVI cable, reinstall the RAM and tried a hard reset, all to nothing does, and my Vista computer monitor does not work when connected to the computer of 8.1.

Without a monitor, mouse and keyboard, I'm at a complete loss trying to figure out what to do next.  How can I determine if the problem is in the motherboard, hard drive, BIOS or something else?  And, since I didn't get this machine for a full year until October 18, how can I check if this is because of something I can do inadvertently or if it is only something covered by my warranty?

Thanking you in advance for your willingness to help, hopefully soon be eternally in your debt via your recommendations for a solution to this madness.

PC runs, but does not start. Monitor, keyboard and mouse with no signal. Pretty much. And when you want me to remove the battery of the bios, or whatever, it seems tight and hard to get out because it is surrounded by other elements.

All fans work, the power/battery or anything that works I think that, since there is a fan on the right where it is and it seems to work. I remember what happens before, I don't know, but before that, there are many gels. This error below was made before all this happened, but I managed to run f8 and then run normally until it freezes again. Then, after that, it runs but does not start. No beeps etc. The best fans will have plenty of vouches and Bravo to wherever you like me to vouch or maybe send the great service that you provide to administrators if that's even possible, haha.

    Thanks in advance.

It is a sign of a lack of food.  Looks like you have a desktop computer?

Power supplies run about $50.  It is a rectangular box at the corner of the system in which the power supply will from the outside.  It's a pretty standard form in most of the PC and with a little investigation thorough replacements can be found.

It is usually held in place by 4 screws and can be held in place with a spring clip.

Most essential, is that you need to buy a replacement with the right number of straight plug forms to adapt to your PC.

This seems more complicated than it really is and takes about 5 to 10 minutes to do the replacement.

Look at the power output of the power supply failure and buy a new, more powerful.  New desktop PC usually come usually with a diet under size and what are the causes these failures is too strong a request for devices you have connected.  So, buy one with a higher power rating.  Usually about 500 Watts does the trick.

If you do not feel upwards to this task, a technician should not charge you much like this.

  • 750se envy: envy of the brand new office no signal to the monitor via HDMI

Just got my new 750se envy and 25 x 25 backlit monitor. After putting it all together, I connect the monitor of the Tower via HDMI. Tower boots, display lights, I pop in setting up the drive, but the monitor says that it cannot find a signal. I test my old monitor to the new Tower (a monitor of series pavilion aged 7 years). Same results. The Tower seems to be the treatment given that you can hear what it read the disc.

I take another hdmi cable and and test exactly as described above. New monitor, new Tower and new hdmi cable still no signal. Old monitor, new Tower and new hdmi cable still no signal.

Just to be sure, I plug my new monitor to my old HP Pavilion desktop computer. Tower lights up as usual, and the new monitor immediately comes to life with color. I can safwly guess it's the tower. I open the side panel and check all jacks to make sure they are warm and fully attached. Nothing seems to be loose or out of place.

I start to sting online for answers. I met this reset of the BIOS. Press F10 to 8 seconds, down, 3 times arrow, enter twice and restart. Nothing. Still no signal. Can I assume there is something wrong with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 and windows the cause? Maybe turn hdmi ports are messy? It was the only other subjects I really found on the issue. Everything seems to work, just no signal between the monitor and Tower.

    original title: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft

    You can try this program:

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/

Use the deep Scan option. It may take some time.

The System File Checker can repair some of the files in there, but probably not all.

It's probably at least some of the files that have been overwritten. so I would say the the more safe thing to do is to reinstall Windows.

  • HP Z820 workstation: Z820 HP does start, fans at high speed, no BIOS, no signal in the monitor.

    Hello world

    My listing of workstation: HP Z820, Dual Xeon E5-2687W @ 3.1 - 3, 8 GHz, graphic card Nvidia quadro K5000, 64 GB RAM, 2 x 500 GB HARD drive.
The workstation is still under warranty.

They arrived after upgrade to Windows 10 (from 8.1 to Windows) and put such BIOS updated as recommended by HP support Assistant.

I was on the process to refresh the 10 Windows , then the system automatically tried rebooting to complete the update, but he never did it again! and then the fans running at full speed. After waiting for 2-3 minutes, I had to hold the power button to turn off the computer.

After waiting for about 10 minutes, I tried to start the computer, but the same thing happened: you press the button power and then after about a minute , fans rotating at high speed, no signal, no BIOS, no noise, no power in the keyboard or mouse, the blue LED light to the rear.

So I let the computer without power for 7 hours... (The power cable is disconnected).

At 11:00: reconnected the power cable (HDD and DVD ROM are DISCONNECTED) and tried to start but the same thing happened.

Now, I'm on google to find a solution:

    1. power? (Have not yet been tested food.)
2 motherboard? No damage to the capacitors or anything else.
3 reset the BIOS/CMOS? (Power disconnected cable) Removed the battery and put it back it, held the CMOS button for 5 seconds.
4 graphics card? Replaced the K5000 Quadro with a Quadro 4000.
    5. exercise of the power of the system? held the power button with the power cord unplugged for 30 seconds.

None of the above solves the problem but now when you press the power button / the fans start to run at high speed immediately! This got worse?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The problem is a faulty motherboard and it was replaced under warranty.

You can view the free software kvm solution below:

I use between three computers (1-Win7 Pro x 64 single monitor, 1-WinXP Pro x 86 two monitors, 1-WinXP Home x 86 single monitor) and a single keyboard and mouse. It works fine for me, I used it for over a year without any problems. The Win7 Pro and WinXP Pro have both run several virtual machines too.

There are several other kvm software available (Google is your friend) I tried several before input Director.

I bought a bow from Microsoft and Microsoft Arc mouse keyboard.

Both devices come with their own 2.4 GHz USB tranceivers.

I want to connect the keyboard and mouse to a transceiver.

I can't find any instructions on how to do it.

As far as I know, you can do that.  If you want the keyboard and mouse on a transceiver, you buy a keyboard/mouse kit, commonly known as a desktop computer.

USB keyboard/mouse can be disconnected without using the icon "remove."  In fact, I would be shocked if they were still on the list safely remove at all.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This could be due to problem of incompatibility with the keyboard and mouse drivers. I suggest you use another computer and download the latest compatible keyboard/mouse drivers with the latest operating system (Windows 8.1 is). Download the drivers in the flash player and then install the same drivers in Windows 10 machine and check.

If the problem persists, install the same driver in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows.

    a. do the driver installation file right click and select Properties and then tap or click on the compatibility tab.

    b. check in the run this program in compatibility mode for: box.

    c. press or click the menu drop down and select a previous operating system, and then tap or click OK.

    d. try to install the driver and verify.

Please refer to: make programs more compatible with this version of Windows (information is good for Windows 10 institutions)

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.
