No signal when start and can't get into safe mode.

So, I have an E machine with microsoft xp on it. And last night I lost the signal of the monitor. But I just restarted it and she came back. But he started for about every five minutes after re boot. I put it in save mode, and he continued to do so. And then when I started again, there was a "serious error of microsoft" and I sent the error to microsoft, as well as something active desktop. Showing all the reasons of what can happen. My computer is really slow so I decided to just drive with flash reprogramming CD, I put in and restart it and I don't get any signal constantly even now when I reboot... Please help, thanks.

Hi andreasburlet,

·         You see a message on the screen?

·         Have you checked for fine connections?

·         Do you want to say that you tried to reinstall Windows XP?

Method 1: Ensure that all connections on the monitor are tight.

Method 2: Connect and disconnect a RGB cable can help them as well and that could ensure a good signal. Look at the end of the cable to see if you have all the appropriate pins.

Method 3: You can also try with another monitor, if possible. It could also be your video card. See if it is connected. If you are not comfortable doing so, communicate with a known person.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and I can't go in Mode without failure.  I tried to hit F8 to each starting point that I can imagine, and it does nothing.  At the prompt, F2 goes to configuration options and F12 goes to the boot options, but I have not seen anywhere advanced startup options.

    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.

0 x 124 is a material error which sometimes causes of software.

Since you are not able to get in good safe mode, the issue is almost certainly hardware.

First, recommend set Optimized Defaults in the bios if possible.

Recommends updating the bios most recent in dos mode if the manufacturer offers this possibility, then clean install Windows after the failure of the drive with Killdisk. You have certainly some problems of severe malware based on this: "my new windows does not work recently.

Alternatively, you can put the drive into a desktop machine and then copy the last 5 files \Windows\Minidump - be careful of malware here though.

Download them on Sky Drive public area then paste a link here. We can then in which pilots could play a role in the problem - but as I said - because the problem in safe mode, the issue is something to do with a faulty hardware.

If you can get these files for us to normal mode by copying them on the desktop before downloading, then more power to you do it elsewhere instead.

Check that the machine is not having a heat problem.

    Hello

Let the computer start in Mode safe.  Hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type msconfig and press ENTER.  In the System Configuration window, click the Startup tab and look to see if there is a check mark in the box to start - if there is, click the box to Remove the tick and then click on apply to save the change.  Restart the computer and see if it will boot normally.

  • I can't get out of safe mode when starting, and can not run the Setup program from windows XP in safe mode.

I have a XP box that would only start in safe mode.  I needed to repair windows, so I started updating reinstall option but to reboot it says it cannot run in safe mode then it tries to boot into normal mode but crashes - which is what I am tring to solve.  Now I'm stuck because the computer is now making a loop and I'm stuck.  There is no available recovery console, it shows just the installation restart then goes into the shot.  If I try to launch safe mode, that it says cannot run update in safe mode then restarts in normal mode, which hangs then.  I'm stuck.  Boy the days where I wish I could just make the prompt C:\.  Thank you.

You can connect your problematic hard drive to another PC to copy your important data, using a device such as:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16812161002

    or

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16812119244

I'm still not 100% convinced that you boot from the CD. Your Dell has the option of F12 to select a boot real-time device (as soon as you turn on the PC)? Also, remember that you have to "press any key to boot from the CD" when you see this screen! Of course, during a reboot, you start from the hard drive.

Even if you did everything by the book, a repair installation could easily 'loop' as you describe. But as long as your hardware is healthy, a clean install is done.

  • I built a new system. Transferred to the hard drive and video card, but everything else is new. Restart Windows as it begins to start. I can get into safe mode and found event id 7026 and event id 7001 in the event viewer.

As mentioned above, this is a new system, but with a more older IDE hard drive with windows xp pack 2 service (I think). When you first start, it says that windows is not stopped correctly and asks me to choose whether to start it normally or without failure or last known working configuration. I did find something online that contains all the system boot or start specific drivers. Windows and harddrive was working in another computer just before he was switched. Let me know if you need other information.

    Thank you.

First of all you are missing probably a number of device drivers, particularly the network card driver and the driver of the motherboard.  Use your XP disk to perform a repair installation.  This should go a long way toward you're going to get.  If your new box has a driver disc that should help a lot.  You can't port XP perfectly the way you did.   It usually requires a repair installation to fix the hardware abstraction layer. • Foreign crook fooled me and now I can't get out 'safe mode' regardless of attempts to do

Hello, Monday evening, I googled Facebook Support and found this issue of phone - 1-888-275-2174, which came as a 'techgeeks. I later found out than this fraudulent foreign (probably India) fake f * telephone number simply leads to my nightmare. They stated that they were Technicians of Microsoft, and I asked for verification of this. They said look at the Microsoft Logo at the top of our Logo certifying that we are Technicians from Microsoft, therefore, I allowed them to "interconnection" with me who ultimately turned out to be a mistake. I was calling in reference to a glitch of Facebook and the number that precedes 'i' n appeared a Google search at random. Those genius hackers through my computer to the Nether World, which I had never seen before. They were like "Speedy Gunsallus" and me couldn't keep with these brilliant super Indians of the India. Then they said "your system is fixed", and said goodbye. Well, a few seconds after the attack on my computer from "Left Field", I discovered that my computer was worse; much more serious, as before, I called this misleading number. I restarted immediately and my computer would only allow me to go is Safe Mode. I have very little capability in Mode safe and I need this computer to be fully functional for my business. I googled various solutions possible, all to nothing does not. If anyone in this community has the knowledge to help me in this disaster the mine situation and restore my computer to the normal operating mode. Thank you very much.
