• My PSC 1210 all-in-one not Scan after the recent software update

  There is no if long software update asked me to install the last change of HP software. Which is curious, because when I look in the download, the last of them for OS10.6 section, which I run, was released in 2009.

  Hmmm, that seems strange that you will receive an update for a PSC 1210, because I do not think that there has been updates this software for years.

  Have you tried to uninstall the driver and then reinstall?

  Click on drivers & downloads and select your operating system (Mac OS X) from the drop-down list and click Next.  Expand the sign next to the driver - product Installation software (8) + and then download/install the driver for 10.6.

• G71-340US notebook: no sound after 10 Windows free update of WIN7 on a G71-340US laptop with CODEC IDT.

  After the free upgrade to WIN7 for WIN10 my laptop has no noise (with internal or external speakers). I tried to uninstall driver IDT and allowing windows 10 to reinstall the driver through scanning for changes of HW - still no sound. I would appreciate any guidance or fixes to this problem.   I'm happy to announce that I now have sound on my laptop G71-340US. After that more detailed error troubleshooting I found that there is an application called IDT Audio PC (aka IDT HD Sound) installed on my laptop by HP (OEM), I think. While I don't know exactly what function of this application is, it seems, it is related to activation of the feature of IDT HD Codec drivers. Somehow, I decided to look in Task Manager - startup and I saw this listed IDT Audio PC. I clicked on disable and then a minute later clicked on activate. After I did that, as simple as it seems, I have now heard both internal and external speakers. This is the first time I heard all the sounds since the upgrade to WIN10. I checked several times by re-booting my laptop and every time I now have sound. I will continue to test it through the week and see if it continues to be OK. In the meantime, I thought I'd share this potential fix (or solution) with all stakeholders. Perhaps others will find this useful and give me your comments. Fingers crossed!

  PS. BTW, if anyone out there knows what PC IDT sound is by all means share your knowledge. I'm curious why this app appears more often in the forum messages and how it can relate to the WIN10 upgrade. Sorry, but I do not remember what prompted me to look at the task - starting but Manager I'm glad I did. It's great to hear again!

  There is a difference between be unpaired and disconnection. When your watch dial a symbol of red phone with a line through it, it simply means that your Apple Watch has been disconnected from your iPhone:

  

  Disconnections can be normal. For example: your watch will be are disconnected from your iPhone if the devices are moved out of Bluetooth range or if your iPhone is turned off. If your watch is unable to connect to a Wi - Fi network known at the time (as a backup), it will be disconnected.

  The watch and the iPhone must reconnect automatically a short while after having reconciled being brought back.

  If they do not automatically reconnect, try to keep your iPhone and Apple Watch close to each other and follow these steps until they reconnect:

  • Check that Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are activated on your iPhone:
    • It can help to turn Bluetooth on or off and turn it back on your iPhone (settings > Bluetooth).
  • Check that airplane Mode is not enabled on your watch:
    • When you display the time on your watch, drag upward on the dial of the watch > drag left / right to the glance of parameters.
      • If the glance of parameters says already connected and the symbol in the upper right corner is a green phone, your watch is already connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
    • If your watch is not connected and the airplane Mode is on, press the button to turn it off.
    • Otherwise, it can help to activate / turn off the airplane Mode again.
  • Restart both devices, both turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first.

  For optimal performance of your watch, keep both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled at all times on your iPhone.

  If your copy of Windows is preinstalled on the computer then you can try to check for the sound driver of your program folder files in C: just find the folder of cabins, once you have located the cabs folder, find the .exe for the soundblaster driver file, double-clicking it, this should start the installation program. :-)

  In addition, its best that you find out your site for manufacturer of the computer for the driver, they must have ALL the driver downloads.

  I see that you seem to have two versions of Flash Player at the same time.  Please follow these instructions for a clean reinstall

  • Download http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP uninstaller and save it on the disk;
  • Download PS http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html Installer and save it on the disk;
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstaller downloaded;
  • Restart Windows;
  • Check C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash - remove all remaining files in there;
  • now, run the downloaded installer.

  You can list what you have now in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

  I have the envy 15 that came pre-installed with Win8.  When the 8.1 update came out, I installed and now cannot get any audio when connecting via HDMI to my TV, even if the image is there.

  I made sure that all drivers are updated as far as I KNOW, but in the Device Manager, I get the highlight, obviously as stated above, the cable is connected.

  

  Everything worked fine before the update and I also used 4 different cables, which are all very well that I also have an old Compaq laptop that runs always WIN8 allows audio via HDMI.

  One of you, experts have thoughts on that?

  In fact, the first time around was a "Refresh" as all the files were kept.  Yesterday, I did a "valorisation" who put me back on the outside of the box to the top.

  Once all updates have been made, I tested and everything worked well, visuals and audio HDMI.  Updated to 8.1 and had just visual.  I restarted the laptop and I got new audio.

  It seems that with 8.1 should I turn off the laptop and plug it into the TV before going back on what I didn't need to with Win 8. (note. I tried to restart the phone before you post here) so yes, not taken in charge with 8.1 and must have had a corrupt intsaller previously.

  Recently, I upgraded a W520 at Windows 10 with Dolby installed HT technology. Of course it doesn't work anymore, and the audio is horrible, especially from the internal microphones.

  Did someone come up with a way to install the Dolby Digital Plus, on based Conexant Systems? I really need the audio improved to my softphone as soon as POSSIBLE.

  It seems that Peter has removed the files to skydrive. Just install the file DTPC.msi, during the installation make sure "Active content Install" Wizard and "driver installation: DHT (liberation)" and you should be good to go.

  And Yes driver signing verification is only temporariliy disabled, and according to your boot options there are different ways to turn it off. I have more than one o/s and I also run bitlocker, so for me, it may be different on your system.

  In most Of Samhrutha G other suggestions, you can visit the web site of the packer/card manufacturer support mother system and download all the appropriate drivers for embedded devices, software, updates, what-have-you for your model.  Look for the sound/multi-media and chipset drivers in particular.

  BTW, it is preferable to install the drivers on the manufacturer of the motherboard of the system support site / as opposed to the web site of the manufacturer of embedded devices.  System/motherboard manufacturer might make changes to drivers based on specific knowledge of their application of hardware device as opposed to the General knowledge of the device as drivers found in the website of the manufacturer of the OBU.

  That said, they are also preferable on all drivers that Windows Update can install.

  Tried to watch the Hobbit Blue Ray tonight (the first time after the software update) the sound is fine but the picture is just a flashing green screen. Tried a new BlueRay just in case that was the record, but no, it wasn't the same.

  Apart from the use of software preinstalled Toshiba Blu - ray, you can also try to play blu - ray discs using 3rd party software, like for example the VLC Player.
