  Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

  1. Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC under this category.

  2. Select the driver tab.

  3. click on Update Driver... button.

  4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

  5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

  A warning message may appear, but click Yes.

  7 Windows has updated your driver software.

  8 restart the PC.

  The key is step 6.

  My phone is: Z3 Compact Xperia

  After updating my phone from 4.4.4 android. Lollipop 5.0.2 I get a blank black screen of House, and I can't access anything in the phone except notifications and settings when scrolling from top.
  The 3 buttons below are there but do not work.

  This happens randomly about 2 - 3 times daily for no specific reason and the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone by the power button, otherwise the update is great and everything works fine.

  When I call someone or if someone calls me, I can't hear them and they can't hear me. This started a few weeks ago and just happened to all other calls, but became permanent. It was a problem until I updated my phone but the problem still persisted after the update (I run the latest version of iOS - 9.3.4). Any help would be much appreciated.

  I noticed that the sound signal come on when the BB is trying to access the data service. While on the phone, the beep is very clear and when it rings, it cuts the voice communication, it is impossible to hear the other party.   Hey jadi, the yellow globe and a '1' beside her looks like a notification from the browser that it has lost its connection.  If you look in your messages folder there message with the link to your web page.

  insofar as the sound signal, try looking at your profile on the BB settings.  There is an option at the bottom of each article to warn that says "warn me then appeals".  check and change to 'no' if it is 'yes '.  to this success the menu (button left of the Pearl) and go to your profile icon that looks like a speaker with waves coming out of it to the right.  There, he'll tell which profile is active.  It will probably be the "normal" profile if you hearing other tones and ringtone.  Go to the bottom of the screen, then select "Advanced".  Once there in there click on the items in there and check to see if this option to 'Notify me during calls' is set to 'yes '.  If so change to 'no '.  see if that will set the tone.  It will be useful.

  There are other forums looking for answers as well, but is supported directly by RIM/Blackberry and most often used. I used blackberryforums.com, but I always come back to this (supportforums.blackberry.com), which for me is the best option.  CrackBerry.com is another.

  Have you tried to restart the phone? I downloaded the update yesterday afternoon. When my husband called later I couldn't hear him and that he could not hear me. I restarted the phone and I am now able to make/receive phone calls without problem. I know this is not exactly your question but maybe this will help.

  I just updated my Z10 STL100-3 model with the new operating system 10.3.2.2168. Now, I can not answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen to answer or reject the call.   Well, assuming that you have waited the usual 48-72 hours, with a lot of reboots (including the battery grips) and this behaviour is new, and the only thing that has changed is the operating system updated... so, the most common thing to do after an update which results in problems is to perform a reload of the OS. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

  Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:
