No sound from my laptop through the helmet

I had this problem for a long period of time, but since I discovered this view as an opportunity because I've seen similar questions and comments of the people who reported the issue, so am sure also that I already got the answer.

My question is why is that my laptop does not produce a sound with headphones, but the speakers work, I tried to open the playback device and right click just below that tab and nothing has appeared as helmet but only speakers were displayed.

I will be grateful for your positive response to this problem.

This might have caused due to hardware or driver related issues. I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.

1. What is the number of brand and model of the computer/headphones?

2 is it limited to any specific headphones or with the headphones?

3. do you get any error code or error message when you connect the headphones?

4. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

As a first step, I suggest you try to connect a different headset and check if you are able to hear the sound or not.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

Method 1:

Run the audio Troubleshooter and check if you are able to hear the sound of the headset. This is to check if the problem is due to problems related to settings or not.

Follow the steps to run the Troubleshooter:

  1. Press Windows key + Q on your keyboard to move to the search option.
  2. Troubleshooting type, and then click Troubleshooting.
  3. Just type read audio data in the Search option.
  4. Click on play audio convenience store and follow the instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Try installing the latest drivers including the chipset drivers from the Web site of the manufacturer of the computer or from Windows Update and check if the problem persists. This is to check if the problem is caused because of driver related issue or not.

    Can one of you kind folk help please? I have a Satellite Pro laptop computer 8 months, up to now, I have never needed to use the speakers or reading.
    However, I now need to use iTunes and windows drive but for some reason that I can't not all the sounds of the L/T the mute function is disabled, all the graphics seem to show that everything works.

    In my opinion you should check the device first Manager if the sound card is recognized correctly and if the audio driver is working.
    Also you can remove the soundcard from the Device Manager and may reinstall the audio driver that you can download from the page of European driver of Toshiba.

    Last but not least after installing the audio driver, check the sound settings in the control panel-> sound

    From my understanding, to reach 5.1 output, you need the outputs 3 analog stereo, or you will have to do it via HDMI.  I hope this helps.
