  • No sound from the computer after the upgrade to windows 7

Hello! I have a windows vista Home premium. last week, I decided to buy windows 7 Home premium that I did. I booted from the CD, installed Win7 and everything was fine. But as soon as I installed it, I realized there was no noise, and in the task bar, the volume icon had a red X next to it. Whenever I flew over the volume button, that it says "no audio output device is installed." it's a little strange because I have a realtek sound card that was prefect of work until I upgraded. someone gave me a link to the realtek drivers, which do not work either. and in the Device Manager, my sound card did not even appear! There was no "video and video games controller" or something like that and my sound card is not in any of the categories devicemanager. All I see in the other devices section in Device Manager is a "multimedia Audio Controller" which has a warning sign yellow (!) beside him. Maybe it's my sound card. is it? Please help, as I got my sound back!

EDIT: Problem solved: I was stupid and install Realtek drivers when I got a sound card DIAMOND

  • BsSDK.dll absent from the computer, windows 8

I just bought a new computer (HP desktop with windows 8) and made all necessary downloads, etc. The problem I have, is that when first I turn on my computer and go in any program, such as my e-mail etc, I get this error message in a small window that appears on the screen, with the title: BtTray.exe - system error. This message has a red circle with an X, white in the middle and States: the program cannot start because BsSDK.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. In the lower right corner of this window, there is a [OK] tab. Before I click on this tab the my choice (e-mail, etc.) appears without a problem. I click on the tab anyway, and disappears from the window of a small error message. It appears never again, until I have restart my computer (after having turned off) and go to my email or another program.

P.S. I'm new to computers and come from the era antique typewriter. So I'm not too familiar with the computer language, still. I have spent in my browser and typed in BsSDK.dll download... Long story short. I want to make sure that I get a download of good reputation. Is there a microsoft link that would have this, while I meet future problems... Thanks for any help in this matter. M.

    Hello

    1. are you able to connect to Bluetooth on this PC devices?

    2. did you face this problem from the moment that you bought this PC or after making a few changes to the computer?

BTTray.exe is for Bluetooth products tray bar process. It gives you easy access to the configurations and settings for the Bluetooth products. It is not an essential process, but is necessary for the proper functioning of the program.

    Follow these methods

Method 1: First of all, I suggest to perform a clean boot and check to see if a third-party software is causing this issue.

To help solve the problems, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows 8

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Please note:  After troubleshooting, be sure to put the computer to a normal startup mode.

Method 2: Scan the file system (CFS) auditor. Follow these steps:

    (a) start the desktop view.

    (b) open the command prompt, right-click in the left corner when the window appears, and select prompt (admin).

    (c) type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

Method 3: You can also try reinstalling the HP Bluetooth software and check.  Follow these steps.

    a. press the Windows key + Q, type Control Panel , and then click uninstall a program in the list programs.

    b. scroll down until you see the Bluetooth software and uninstall.

    c. now press the Windows key + R, type Device Manager and press OK.

    d. expand the Bluetooth option, then right-click on the Bluetooth device listed. Select Update driver software"

Click search automatically for updated driver.  Windows will search online for the correct Bluetooth drivers compatible with your device.  Once it's done, reboot your system.

Follow the steps and let us know the results.   If you have any other questions, please post, we will be happy to help you.
  • No sound from the computer with connected generic speakers VISTA SP2. Symbol pregnant shows active with the Digital Audio device.

I have vista SP2, I connected to generic stereo speakers using the green light at the back of the computer. Vista does not recognize the speakers. The speaker symbol at the bottom right shows "digital (HDMI) 2 high definition output audio device." It shows active. I had this problem before, and VISTA should pick up 'speakers' something to that effect. I have no sound until it captures "speakers". I can't get VISTA to recognize this. It keeps starting with the digital audio device. Don't know what to do, checked all the forums. It should just pick up these simple generic markets good speakers. Before SP2, I lose sound when VISTA is in standby mode. He would then turn off the stereo speaker and replace the digital output device driver... However since SP2 I can't get VISTA to recognize that I have just connected speakers and not a digital output device.

Yes, when I uninstalled the driver, THEN shut down the computer and then restarted, he picked up the device high definition audio "speakers" good pilot is NOT the

"digital (HDMI) 2 high definition audio output device that he used to pick up."

    I now have sound!

I hope that it stores the right driver now as in the past, when VISTA went into sleep mode, it will disable the speakers, and you have to restart every time.

    Thanks for your help.

You can add instructions to boumediene, the fact that you must RESTART your computer to search for new drivers, once you uninstall.

  • No sound from the computer

    I have an Elite e9420t 64-bit desktop with a HP 2159 m Monitor.  Product no. 00371-OEM-8992671-00008.

I had no noise for a week.  I've done all the troubleshooting suggested, downloaded drivers updated, try a new cable for speaker, tucked in a system before his departure, all for nothing doesn't.  On the test of the volume in the monitor menu we sound of them but by clicking the volume doesn't make no sound.

I suspect a problem getting the computer to the monitor, but I'm out of ideas.

    Help please.

    Hello

You can either: have your PC serviced by HP or, much cheaper (alternative) buy a discrete sound card and install it on the motherboard.

I did option 2 on a HP PC with audio integrated with satisfactory results. You have available PCI Express x 1 slots for the discreet addition of audio on your PC.
