  Method 1

  Try disabling audio enhancements and check if that helps.

  Does anyone know if there is a way to differentiate sounds for texts and media on the Droid?

  In the e-mail application all while watching your Inbox, press Menu-> settings-> ringtones and you can select the ring tone you want for your texts. If your use of the Email email app then open Email application and then go into the account that you want to change the ringing tone on. You can have a different ringtone for each account. Looking at your Inbox, press Menu-> settings-> ringtones account. You can follow these instructions for each account that you have. I do not use Facebook app so I can't help you with that, but I'm sure that it is basically the same. Just go to settings and look for a ring setting. I hope this helps.

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

  Maybe the sound drivers card is damaged or is not compatible with Windows solitaire and spider games.
  I recommend you visit the page of the Toshiba driver and first update the sound card driver.

  What it means that the sound card is properly installed and you don t have yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

  Hmm generally with each program, you should be able to listen to audio on flash videos I would try an update of Adobe Flash Player. Make sure that you have installed the latest version of this program.

  The sound settings, you can check the Windows default audio output device. Make sure that the internal speakers are the default settings.

• Sound distortion with sounds and Windows streaming media

  First of all, I'm not very technical minded, so please excuse my attempts to describe it!

  Your replacement video card has an HDMI output port?

  If so, probably disabled video card audio system integrated.

  To activate the onboard video, enter the BIOS, find the onboard audio setting.

  It will be set to auto or off.  Change the setting to "Enabled".  Save the configuration when you have made the change and again when you exit the BIOS (save settings and exit).

  When you restart and return to windows, you should have the on-board audio back.

  If your new card video has no hdmi port, or your audio settings on the BIOS is already active, then unfortunately, I don't know what could be the issue.
