No sound on Equium - driver corrupted or missing (Code 39)

Hello

My name is Fanta.
I recently wanted to play music on my computer using windows media player, but no sound from the speakers of the laptop, I checked the Device Manager and there is a sign less next to the audio, video recorders and game when I scroll it is a yellow circle with an exclamation mark next to the audio device «Microsoft kernel wave mixer» When you try to play music my windows media player 11 it is said
"Windows media player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device. There may be no audio device installed, it can be used by another program, or it might not work properly ".

When I try to uninstall the device and then analyze installed again it gives me an error message
"Windows cannot load the driver for this device for this device, the driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) »

Is it possible that I can do my speakers work again if so how?
Thank you Sam

Hi Kamal,

If you had a tools and Utilities CD that came with your laptop then I suggest that you check to see if it contains the necessary drivers and utilities to support for your sound card. Alternatively, you can be able to download the forms from the download from Toshiba site. You will need to specify the number of the correct model for your laptop.

Kind regards

    Hello

    This has been discussed a lot of time here;
    The workaround is;
    -remove the ODD of Device Manager
    -access the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    -restart the laptop

    Hello

    Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.

    Please make all below even if you have done some before as it is often the set of operations which solves
    the question.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
    Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
    This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
    slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Also check with your system manufacturer to see if there are any updated drivers for your DVD. Or even if it
    are you can reinstall the 'old'. Many use Windows default drivers however some special aura
    ones. Also check the website of the manufacturer of the car.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    There are many causes of Code 39 errors:

    * A required device driver is missing.
    * A required binary file is corrupted.
    * There is a problem with the file I/O process.
    * A pilot that refers to an entry point in another binary file cannot load.
