No sound when recording audio files

Hello I have a new computer and the audio wma recorder does not work.

Hello I have a new computer and the audio wma recorder does not work. While the recorder creates audio files, there is no sound on them. I use a Realtek audio set headphones and I am at a loss what to do I tried all options of shooting game of his trouble, which did not help. I need instructions specific to how to get the tape recorder to record.

Hi DanielAmitai,

·         What operating system do you use?

If it's Windows 7, so please note that Sound WMA MP3 recorder is not compatible with the operating system.

http://www.MP3-WMA-recorder.com/

Uninstall the program and try to install in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

(a) right click on the configuration file (the file setup.exe for the software), and then select Properties.

(b) now, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode for.

(c) select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). Click on apply and OK.

(d) now right-click on the configuration file and select run as administrator and follow the normal installation procedure. Check to see if it helps.

For more information, see:

Make older programs in this version of Windows

You can also check if there is an update available from the manufacturer.

  • NO sound when recording Audio - problems with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    I got in trouble for almost a year now with NO sound when recording Audio with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I just found this forum today. It's really weird how recording with windows and other sound recorder works perfectly since 1998 or so until the upgrade to win 7. Now every time I try to record it shows no found recording device or just fails to record any sound. As you'll see below I have activated What U Hear so I can use the system recording features sounds.

    I use the functions of audio recording and pdf reader because I'm legally blind. It is one of the few tools that I could use with ease on all my systems windows for many years.

    A similar question has started happening with nvidia graphics cards. AND... I was led to believe that it was a problem with Sony wanting more strong piracy measures built into windows. Am I correct to assume that this is what is happening with the sound also today or is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

    I run a dxdiag & posted that, according to me, you asked another user on the forum, the same or similar problem.

    Help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this has been a problem for quite a while now.

    I'm on a Macbook Pro OSX 10.10.3 running.  When I record under, is copying audio files and continuously take up more hard drive space.  The files appear to be associated with a patch of Mainstage stock, as they have "Steinway" in the name of the file. I've already consolidated project so all the samples and EXS files are in the same folder, but the problem presists. No idea how I can stop this from happening?

    I had going. I feel a bit stupid, but just in case someone did the same thing as me... If you have the volume button disabled on the top of the phone does not have his back. Imagine that. I have the sound away at my job and usually leave it off. I always thought of him as a ringer switch not a complete audio switch. My bad. It turns out all my clips that capture sound. • Is there audio events aboard animate 3.0? -Need to know when an audio file stops

    I'm working on a project where there is an audio playback button.  When the user clicks and audio playback, I want to show a version the button highlighted, but when the audio is finished, I want to emphasize to hide again.

    I did successfully using the library of buzz.js, but I try to use anime new native audio support, and I hope I can do the same thing.  With buzz, I would like to do this...

    ARM.bind ("pause", Function {}

    SYM.$("play_arm").Attr("src","images/play_btn.png");

    });

    ARM.bind ("playing", Function {}

    SYM.$("play_arm").Attr("src","images/stop_btn.png");

    });

    In this case, 'arms' is a variable that contains the audio, and I'm in the binder to the 'pause' and 'pay' events thrown by buzz.

    This syntax does not work for the audio native, so I wonder if there is another way to do this, or if there is no usable event.

    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Fred

    I have it.

    Instead of link the action to the event, you add an event listener. Then...

    ARM.bind ("pause", Function {}

    SYM.$("play_arm").Attr("src","images/play_btn.png");

    });

    becomes

    arm.addEventListener ('complete', function() {}

    ...

    });

    You will also notice that I used "completed" instead of "pause".  My audio files are playing throughout of my current project, so 'done' is the best event.  'Break' also triggered at the end, then, really, that you can use.

    Hope this helps someone who has the same problem.  Thank you!

    Fred

  • How to use a value of a string variable as a sound (like an audio file link name) class?

    Hello

    I need to use the value of a string variable as a binding name of any sound in the library, I have this code:

    var SoundArray:Array = new Array;
    SoundArray [0] = "S1";
    SoundArray [1] = 'S2 ';
    SoundArray [2] = "S3".
    var MySound = new SoundArray [0];
    B1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, PlaySound);
    function PlaySound(event:MouseEvent) {}
    MySound.play (0,0);
    }

    where S1, S2, S3 is the name of the class in the name of link for 3 audio files in the library.

    I get this error for the line of code:

    TypeError: Error #1007: instantiation attempted on a non-constructeur.

    Sorry, sorry, sorry

  • Two consecutive sound icons for Audio files

    HI -.

    I've implemented a flow line which has two icons of consecutive sounds before displaying an icon of interaction with a question.

    The first sound icon is for the audio issue.
    The second sound icon is for audio for all of the answer choices.

    Originally, I had the file set up to play full audio of the issue and to play the audio response BEFORE the interaction icon would then become active (which requires participants to fully hear the question AND choices before responding). I did it using «WAIT FOR PREVIOUS SOUND "in the timing tab for the sound icons.»

    Now my client wants the interaction in question is immediately active while the game of questions and answers.

    Is it possible to have TWO separate room sound icons in order "simultaneously"? Or do I need to combine the TWO audio files into a single icon and sound competing to define? I was hoping to avoid combining the two audio files into an icon of her unique for two reasons:
    1. the files in question and response are delivered separated... so you have to put them together.
    2. I was hoping to put the answer files that are reused several times in a library file so that they can be reused again and again to maintain the low file size... and if I have to combine the question with responses each time, it will increase the size of the file.

    Or can I somehow use a command in a CALC ico to play an audio file located elsewhere?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you!

    The combination would be better for what is facilitated. A free audio tool like
    Audacity would be perfect. I understand the issue of management of library/property only.

    Authorware has only one audio channel the audio icon, you noted.
    The classic/native way to get around this is to have another audio
    Play through a sprite or an ActiveX control. The old method was to use
    the film with the film icon ' audio only ' QT, but the icon of film without
    more long handles QT...

    So much easier can be to create a Flash movie with the other audio file.
    Save down, as close to Flash 6 you can and use the Flash Sprite to
    play the other audio file.

    Otherwise, I think that Gary has a Xtra or .u32 on its site;
    http://www.mods.com.au
    who can manage playback of audio files - buddyWav, is it?

    More that likely there is a problem of compatibility with one or more
    of your source files. Even if the project plays when
    under the direction... the problem occurs when it is coded as a video file.

    The only solution I know is to convert your source files
    the formats that are no longer compatible with Movie Maker.

    Several formats are apparently compatible
    with different versions of Movie Maker
    but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp, jpg
    Video - wmv
    Audio - wav, wma, wmv

    Hi SK4254,

    Because the problem occurs only on a user profile, you can try to create a new user account and check if the problem occurs:

    Create a user account

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

    If the problem does not occur, then check out the following link and follow the steps to repair the corrupted user profile:

    More than likely your original source file is not fully
    compatible with Movie Maker. Conversion of the source
    file to the. Before you import into movie WMV format
    Maker may be the best bet.

    Thank you for your answer, I'll try their conversion and see if that helps. However the Help window and the page how-to - tells me that .avi files can be added to the filmmaker.

  • Help! No sound when importing MXF files

    I need to change several videos to work, and the last sequence is on files, .mxf no matter how hard I try, I can't import them with audio tracks.

    When I play the clips in my media browser, I can hear the audio, but when I try and import on the timeline, it is only video.

    By a stroke of luck, the audio accompanied the video sometimes when I restart the first, but it has not happened since.

    Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm losing my mind.

    I use a Windows PC and first 2015 CC

    Thanks for the reply! Yes A1 was also blue, but it still didn't work.

    My solution was click and drag the clip on the timeline (where he worked as a first step), then close and reopen the first and repeat for all the other clips.

    This method worked well enough so I could finish the project in time.

    However, it is a very strange problem that really needs a fix... Many cameras use this format now!

  • Can't hear audio when recording.

    I checked the preferences and I think that everything seems ok, but I can't get a peep out of him. Connection is headphone for pc,

    I also tried pre amp for pc but still nothing.

    As a test, I tried various tests and other freeware audio editing software and I can hear the sound when recording. I just can't hear when using Audition CS5.5

    Uses Windows 7 and hdmi sound through my graphics card. I think there must be a setting somewhere but I don't can not find. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Well, I had a play with the Realtek integrated sound card on my laptop - not my normal way of record - and has been able to monitor the entry as it was recorded.

    I used multitrack view (as one normally do) and the only thing I had to do was click on the 'I' symbol (next to the "M" (mute) (solo) "S" and "R" (arm for record) buttons.)  The 'I' is for the input of the monitor.

    However and this is a big however, on my laptop as soon as I specify the HDMI output, it disables the power supply of my helmet.  I can't try it without re - arrange my house, but I am betting that if I plugged the HDMI output on my laptop to my TV, the sound would be.  But it is certainly not on the headphone output of my computer.  It reappears on the headphones as soon as I select 'speakers '.  FYI, I also have to mess around with matching sampling frequencies since the HDMI is locked to 48 kHz and no digital output is set to 44.1.

    I hope this helps.

  • No sound while recording with Windows Vista

    Hello!

    Thanks in advance for the help!

    I have a new 430 of XPS from Dell running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

    I try to save and the external audio source (old audio cassettes) using audio recordings of Vista. I am inputing the audio using the socket "line in" on the back of the computer.  The Visual meter shows a signal is present, and I can save, save and playback of the audio file after it is saved.  The problem is that I can't hear any sound when recording from an external audio source.  I check in 'Sounds' in the Panel, and in 'line' monitor shows it receives a signal (and the level is turned up), but nothing is heard in real-time.  No speakers are silent. All the other sounds of the computer, MP3 and CD is heard without difficulty.  When I do a check for speaker under 'Sounds', the speakers work fine.  But I hear no audio registration until after I record the signal.

    The computer is only 2 months old, and I've never been able to hear any audio registration in real time.  This isn't something that just stopped working.

    I also use Total Recorder 7.1 and I have the same problem.  Total Recorder sees the external audio input signal and saves it.  But I do not what I did until I have read the saved file.  With Windows XP I always heard an external audio input as soon as I plugged the audio source, but so far it does not the same under Vista.

    Device Manager tells me that my sound card and driver are operating normally.

    Any ideas anyone?  Is there a change in Vista compared to XP?  Have they blocked the monitoring in real time because of some problems of conflicts or comments?  I'm just guessing.

    Thank you!!!

    Dan

    http://en.community.Dell.com/forums/t/19250187.aspx?c=us&l=en&CS=04&s=BSD

    Solution seems to be to disable the integrated sound card and buy a PCI sound card. Good news is that they are cheap.

    Just to be sure, it is the last driver I could find at Dell

    http://support.us.Dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&CS=04&l=en&s=BSD&ReleaseID=R190321&formatcnt=1&LIBID=0&FILEID=261430

    I suspect the integrated sound card is not full duplex or the available driver is unable to drive. The first is my best guess.

    So the bottom line is that you need a PCI Full Duplex sound card that works with 64-bit windows. The highest and digital sample rate 24 - bit is better, but I don't know it wouldn't be difficult to exceed the specifications on board. Rob - support element, Cascade Bicycle Club P.O. • MainStage retains "Copy Audio files" during save

    Hello

    MainStage guard do "Copy Audio files" then to save it. It copies the audio files temporarily in the concert file and removes them. I don't know why he started to do so. I tried to do a "save under" and set the options in different ways for the project to avoid this but these concerts have done the same thing: whenever I click Save starts copying files and can I have a coffee break.

    Any ideas how to get rid of this behavior?

    I saw a similar topic about the "save under"-it's "Save":

    MainStage 3.2.3 is copy audio when recording as files

    See you soon,.

    When I perform a "Save as", I get a bunch of boxes of digital resources to include or exclude from the backup. See the checkboxes in the gray box at the bottom of the screenshot below.  Leaving the "copy EX instruments in concert" box unchecked prevents MainStage to copy audio files (at least for me.)

    Good luck.
