No sound with Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 headset

Help I can't any sound whatsoever in my Microsoft LifwChat LX-3000 headset

OK, I have a headset Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000.  I plugged a Web Logitech c160m camera into a USB port on the back of my PC.  The helmet would not work in conjunction with the webcam as the webcam has a microphone installed in it.  Now I can't play any music with my headphones or watch any video with sound now.  It's so frustrating! What should I do to fix this?

  • Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 stops the sound from the speakers when connected

    Hello

I bought a USB Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 headset, and when it is plugged into my USB port, no sound is heard from the speakers.

When I disconect the speakers rund LX 3000 perfectly.

Someone knows how to fix this problem, please

I wanted to check if Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 has all the entries in this section and if it has settings to enable or disable speakers when it is installed.  It is obviously the installer to work this way by default--I know not how to change the value by default if there is no entry in the audio section.

Try to download updated drivers for your sound card - she is in the speakers and contolling the LifeChat for an upgrade can provide options that are not currently available and you should be able to control if both can work at the same time.  While you're there, download and reinstall the updated drivers LifeChat as well.

Here is a link to the Microsoft Support - I don't know if it will be free or not (I can't go past the area enter the product id field). https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=12368&st=1&wfxredirect=1.  If free (I'm not sure I want to pay for support) and then explain the problem and they may be able to tell an easy solution that we have lost.

Here is a link to the product documentation that can explain what is happening and why.  Maybe it's just the way they are designed to work. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/documentation/default.aspx?type=LifeChat&sku=JUG-00001.

  • Sound problems and micro Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000

    Hello

About a year ago and a half years, I bought the Lifechat LX-3000 headset. They worked great for a long time, but now it seems they are mess up :(
Two weeks, I was on my desktop Windows 7 Professional x 64 and I was getting complaints my microphone on Skype is gone completely silent and occasionally during these moments of silence, would that make a really loud cracking sound. Then I tested it in the tape and confirmed that there was a problem. He plugged out and back in and it was great to work for about 5 minutes, then he started again. I then plugged into an USB extension cable 2 meter to which he was previously connected and it worked great again for like 3 days.
3 days later, he did it again despite it was connected to the back of the PC. I then plugged on the front of the PC, and it worked great for like 4 days.
Today, I'm sitting here on my Windows laptop, 8 x 64 and the sound went away completely. I assumed initially that I had eliminated the USB so I plugged it on then back in and it worked very well. He then did again as three minutes later. Now, its been almost 20 minutes and it works well again.
Anyone has any ideas at all? They are in good condition because they are a year and a half, they never took to big drops, the best that I would do is lay on my bed.
    * EDIT - however, no matter how the music is now, always adjust. Initially I thought it was a problem of power, but now they work very well: o

  • LifeChat LX-3000 headset does not work with Windows 7 RC1

Previously, I used my LifeChat LX-3000 headset with my machine Windows 7 Beta and it worked fine.  I've recently updated to Windows 7 RC1 and now I can't not all sounds through them either.  The laptop speakers work very well and when I press the button "mute", the led turns on, but when I look at the volume of the headphone mixer is not present among the devices that I can change.  Anyone else running into this issue?  All the solutions you can think?

Looks like I found the answer in one click right on the speaker in the sys tray icon and selected "reading devices".  From there, I saw «Headphone Earphone» option  I clicked on it and then on the "Set default" button.  Now, it seems that it works very well.  It's just different how manipulated beta Headset USB.

  • sensitivity Microsoft lifechat lx-3000 too high (problem of noise cancellation)

I bought a Microsoft LifeChat lx-3000 microphone a few months before and never found out how to reduce the sensitivity of my microphone. In a conversation with my friends, they pretend to hear a lot of noise and it's almost quiet in my house. How can I solve the very high sensitivity to a sensitivity much more low where they can ONLY hear me when I talk?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my problem!

EDIT: Seems to be more of a noise canceling the problem rather than sensitivity, if that helps at all.

    Hello

    1. do you have the latest version of the software installed for the device?

    2. have you checked the problem on another computer?

    Hi Rixander,

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

2 have you checked the work of the headset correctly when it is connected to a different USB port and in another computer?

Try these methods and see if it helps.

    Method 1

Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2

This occurs when you have the speakers are set by default. We need to ensure that the default module.

Exercise the functions mentioned below to set the speakers as default:

    (a) go to Start and click on Panel.

    (b) click Sound, and then a new window will open.

    (c) in the new window click on the "Playback" tab and right-click in the window and click on Show disabled devices.

    (d) now check if the headset is listed there and right-click on it and choose activate.

    (e) highlight this helmet and click on "as default'.»»

    Method 2

Check with the volume settings and if it helps:

    (a) right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.

    (b) check on 'all devices evolving sound.

    (c) make sure that you have "disabled the default communication device".

    (d) place a mark on both speakers and headphones.
