  • HDMI v1.4 support up to 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz.

  You can find this information on page 7 in Chapter 1.

• Sound with the media problems

  My sound stopped working. I checked the drivers and they are all to date. I can't seem to understand the problem and the most annoying part is that all the system sounds like the start up, windows prompt sounds and basic as chest sounds games still work. No matter what noise of internet windows media player do not a sound. When I try to play a music file in windows media player, I get and error COOD11BA that says "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device. "It might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it can be used by another program, or it might is not working properly.

  You must install the driver with the most recent date if you are sure this is a driver that you are interested in.

• Satellite P100-238: stuttering graphics and sound with the game

  A few days ago, I bought a P100-238 both for business and holiday makers with leisure activities include mainly games, I thought this would be a great opportunity to take the next level and buy something powerful with Vista on board... IM starting to think ive made a big mistake. First impressions of the laptop were great (and vista although it is a little welfare State is very good).

  The problems started when I installed a few games (Please take into account, it is a system of 4 GB with 2 gig of ram and a Geforce 7900 gs graphics card, it should theoretically be ideal). The first few games I tried was wonderful... If you stopped, but as soon as you moved (in the game) about every 3 seconds the games would stutter to stop, then start again... every 3 seconds. Okay, I need the drivers, so I jumped on nvidia and tried installing different drivers to see none to work with laptops. In fact whenever I tried to install I got the message that or the other driver is up-to-date or that I'm «not equipped for vista» Anyway to cut a long story short, I discovered www.laptopvideo2go.com when I discovered that Nvidia does not support drivers for laptops (even once cut a long and painful story short) so I used it recommended modded INF files as well as various pilots until the later. Unfortunately I still had the same problem, someone recommended it can become again the sound driver so I tried that no different.

  After further investigation on various forums, it seems im not the only person who knows these probems. On these boards, I noticed that someone had the sound and graphics too jerky and sent it for repair to have the CPU, motherboard, ram etc replaced until they found the error on the HARD drive and once replacement he was fine.

  Using this info and finally think I had put inside of it I took my laptop to the store and he was replacing, ultimately reinstalling everything and lift a game and running... guess what... still the same.
  This is totally unacceptable.
  How do you market a product as games and entertainment laptop when she's obviously serious faults preventing these activities.

  Anyone here have the solution? Also, I should mention that this problem persists when the resolution and graphic details fell to a minimum in the game.

  It's not a hardware problem or a laptop, but Windows Vista!

  Some people have installed XP and it s running like in a dream!

  It seems that we have to wait for a first Microsoft Vista SP1 or certain patches.
  Maybe then the Vista will be more compatible with all these games on the market!

• Windows Movie Maker, a problem of sound with the "Split"?

  Well, that makes me extremely crazy because I'm unable to download videos on youtube. So I have this video which lasts 7 minutes. I decided to split the video into two (at halfway accurate). Then I inserted a photo in the middle of the video. The problem here is that after the image in the Middle, the second part of my video plays fine except for the sound (my voice). He decided to play my voice from the first part of the video response and bacsically everything for the second clip! I tried everything in my power to make it work. I even tried to cut the second part, while he was alone and recording, but guess what? He still played my voice of the first part of the video! It is making me upset moajorly. I also have the updated version if you were wondering. It is much too difficult to work with, especially since I'm used to the other older, so I think I'm missing a certain button or article or something. I don't even know. So my question is, how to split a video by half, add a picture and make sure that my voice is match with my mouth & video. Moreover, I do not have voice on it or add audio. Quite simply, I filmed a video of me talking.

  Since you use Movie Maker 6 and not Live Movie Maker, what follows
  tutorial composed originally for XP, Movie Maker, you should get started

  For the timeline, drag a second copy of the video to Audio / Music
  follow and drag it left or right to align on the Audio track.

  Then right-click / mute the Audio track.

  Now, you can split the video anywhere you want... CTRL + L... and delete
  a section... then insert a Photo and give it the same length as the
  segment you removed.

  Here's another method:

  Split your video clip on each side of the area where will be the stills.

  Now... drag the part cut on the audio / music. BTW... If you want to
  to add a second 5 again... Remove 5 seconds of the video clip. (info below
  splitting if you need it)

  Drag your fixed shots to the timeline and drop it off at the place where
  you have deleted the video.

  The Audio clip on the audio / music can be dragged to the right or left to
  adjust its position.

  Have you spent at the store and installed the 8.1 update yet?  It solves several problems of hundreds, including audio problems.  I'd like to get this update before do you anything else, or you will waste your time.

  That said, you can try this quickly.

  1. Right click on the lower left corner of the screen (or on the +X), then choose Prompt Admin (important: it takes the admin option).

  2. At the Admin command prompt, type net stop audiosrv and press ENTER.  This will stop the Audio Service.
  3. Now, type net start audiosrv and press Enter again.  This restarts the Audio Service.
  4. Try to replay audio.

  to stop all sounds.  but, if you want to stop a particular sound, you must apply stop() to soundchannel your sound (created when the play() method is applied to your sound).

  Then. Im trying to drag my videos, Photos and on my desk. For some reason any after you copy its reading of the video, but I don't get all the sounds?

  If I play the video in Photos, sound works fine... Any ideas?

  Do not hang out, but use the ➙ unmodified export Original for 1 video file menu option.  See if that you will get a playable file.

  * you have the latest version of Flash

  * your browser options are not defined, so that it can not play the sound to a web page

  * volume control in the playback of your console part is not cut, or that the sliders are not zero

  * your audio drivers are up to date (and not through MS Update, but from the website of the manufacturer of the PC/laptop)

  I recently replaced my gpu nvidia defunct with a similar model which has the advantage of a hdmi port, the previous gpu had a connector for the mobo probably for spdif pass thru? the current gpu has no such connector but should pass through audio via hdmi? The current state of the nvidia Control Panel is "your graphics card is almost compatible hdcp.

  Can anyone provide any indication as to the lack of audio with this GPU.

  Hey Scotty,

  A lot of the reference model 9800 GT video cards do not have the SPDIF connector.  If your card model has the SPDIF connector, it must be placed near the SLI connector and just in front of it.  This link will give you information on where to look. You might even have to remove the cover of the video card to see if it is hidden.

  If your card is not the SPDIF connector, so you have these options:

  Use a DVI connector with an audio cable

  Use the output optical or coaxial from the backplate of the I/O on your PC to your TV.
