  This problem just started today.  I have video but no sound with youtube.  I have no sound with any other programs.  I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash and restarted the computer.  Cleared cookes and temp. files.  Still no sound on youtube.  Someone at - it ideas?

  {Apolgies initially... this announcement became long enough...)

  I have a Qosmio G10 and share the problem a lot seem to have with the version of the software Win DVD Toshiba: I can't capture video either windows througn or using Media Center installed WinDVD software. I followed the advice of the users of the forum and have tried the two Showbiz DVD and a freshly downloaded version of WinDVD and have made some progress in what I can see now the captured image. However, I get no sound.

  I tried the following mounting: the Qosmio is attached to the VCR via an S-video cable. Attempt to acquire sound (and maybe that's where I'm wrong) I fell normal RCA cable with the red and white Sockets out of VCR and (via an adapter to convert in one take) on Microphone Jack on laptop. No sound, so I tried the helmet in place. Within the Showbiz DVD I tried several Audio Options with boths taken, including the options microphone and Line-In. No sound. Having failed here, I tried to capture the video using the monitor instead of S-video port. Once again, with the software, I could see captured image but no sound. I also made sure my line volume parameter has not been set to "Mute". (I tried to capture with s-video on my desktop successfully using a wiring, although the video card and the software is different).

  Any advice? Especially those of you who have had success with Showbiz or WinDVD with S-video installation? Am I right to assume that, on the Qosmio, Microphone Jack double: Line-In jack and the double Headphone Jack Line Out? I can play a DVD on laptop and port of exit of sounds and images on television. Is it possible that the map of its Qosmio is not able to port in the sound? Is it because I'm not going through the TV Tuner somehow? What is the relationship of the TV Tuner sound and installation of capture/entertainment Qosmio together? I tried this in both Windows and Media Center.

  Advice from colleagues Qosmio optical users appreciated.

  I like this laptop, but I am very displeased with Toshiba in what concerns the fact that the Qosmio is so heavily planted as an entertainment center and still has so many problems associated with these same functions (and recharge much moe on the 'resistance' of them). Beyond software WinDVD does not (and strangely different then the version apparently even available on the WinDVD site) I had trouble with TV Tuner, among other things.

  Once again, help is much appreciated.

• Problem of sound with video gallery swf imported

  My problem is this - I created a xml driven flash video gallery that I imported into catalyst. Playback is ok, but when I want to go on another page of my site, if a video is in progress, the noise of her does not stop (and as well as the video). So, I want to stop the video, when the user edits the page, or at least to stop the sound of the video, not to the State of video gallery. The swf file that I imported have only one image and the controls are created in AS 3.

  Interesting problem.

  Initially, I thought that this could be easily solved with action sequences on the imported SWF file.   Action sequences will control the visibility, play(), stop(), and go to the chassis, he keeps the audio that has already started to play in the imported SWF.

  I worked around this by

  1. place an empty block '0' in my Flash .fla with SoundMixer.stopAll (); in the ActionScript code - then reoutput the SWF
  2. Import the SWF file and then set an ActionSequence to go to Frame 0 and stop when I left the State where I wanted that my game SWF
  3. Also set an ActionSequence to go to frame 0 and play when I wanted my SWF to start playing again

  What you're missing is the codecs for your videos are in the file format.

  Try the VLC media player. It will easily play most file formats.

  Put the hard drive from the old computer in the new computer as a 2nd drive. Or turn the player
  in an external USB enclosure. Or the other must allow you to access the files.

  It's an idea.  A few months ago I downloaded Broadcom.com fresh Bluetooth drivers for my laptop Sony VAIO Windows 7 x 64.  Just in case, because I don't use Bluetooth at all so far.   There is a Guide to Broadcom Wireless Bluetooth in my folder Bluetooth in the start menu, maybe you have also.  You could also ask a Sony VAIO support forum, or even to buy the mouse USB cable is cheaper than you can get up to find a solution for your wireless mouse.  No kidding, without cable you'll need a battery.

  I have the satellite A100-147, its working well for the past couple of year.
  But in recent weeks has get problem in sound and video (broken sound and video).

  The sound is breaking and sometimes uable to listen + video and so delay breaking due to her with so much sound so slow EEG distortion etc...

  This remains even after the new Wind XP (format HARD drive) installation impossible to fix installed new drivers.

  The problem is that cable s-video doesn t transmits the audio but only video signal.
  If you want to get the sound on the TV, you must use additional RCA cable.

  I can't hear sound on the videos of You Tube with Adobe Flash Player (latest version). Audio on my laptop is good because I can listen to music from Media Player and other sources. The only problem with the audio is with videos from You Tube, my browser is Google Chrome and I use Norton AntiVirus. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  2 is the issue with Google Chrome?

  3. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
