  I would like to set up my phone to be able to transfer the messages in the Messages. I'm sure that I'm connected to all accounts that I'm supposed to be connected to. In the Messages on my iPhone settings, I go to text Message transmission, and my Macbook Pro is listed. When I turn on the slider for iPhone, it asks me to enter the code on my iPhone, but there is no code to enter.

  Am I missing something? I'm not able to find the text Message Forwarding since I updated my iPhone to iOS 10.0.1 6 and my MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end 2013) for MacOS Sierra 10.12.

• Trying to receive a code of validation on my cell phone, but I never text message.

  My Live account has been restricted for a reason any and I have a request to confirm my account with a validation code that will be sent to my phone in a text message.  After several tries, I ever text message.  The phone # seems good (but it doesn't have a 1 on long distance in front of it).  Is there another way to validate my account?

• How to unlock my account if I do not receive the text message code?

  Basically, I have tested my own e-mail servers and has problems to send a message, then the system propabally thought I was spamming.

  When it is said to send a text message to my phone to unlock, I never text message after asking the code several times. After a wait of 2 days.

• Remove the transmission of Messages/Text Message

  An old and damaged iPad (I own is more) still appears in settings/Messages/Text Message Forwarding >

  It is disabled (the green dot is hidden).

  How do I remove it from the list?

  You can try the settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This sets all your back to factory default settings. But that seems to be creating a lot of extra work for you just delete something that isn't really a problem.

  I just got an iPhone SE. I have the people (iMessage and SMS) message on my Macbook and my iPhone, but since I have this phone, text (NO iMessage) messages sync on my laptop and the phone. If I have any messages anyone of my laptop, it starts a new conversation on my phone and vice versa. (What's a sense? It looks like I'll have a long talk with myself, or someone is messaging me without the answer.)

  I know it has to do with the transmission of text Message, so I'll try to set up on my phone. There are two options on my phone: my macbook and my phone and the macbook option is checked (green).   Thank you for coming to us in Apple Support communities for support. I am pleased to provide you with resources to help get your SMS sending works again.

  To start, make sure that you have enabled the options mentioned in this article:

  Continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac

  On your iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Add a control to both your phone number and email address. Then go to settings > Messages > text Message Forwarding and activate the device or devices that you want to transfer the messages.

  Note that the list of devices here is for devices other than the one you are using. This means that if you see another iPhone listed in SMS forwarding, you're probably connected to your Apple ID on another iPhone. That would explain why you do not see the code they ask you on your iPhone.

  If you are still experiencing problems with sending/receiving SMS on both devices after confirmation that it can help reconnect the two devices for your Apple for message ID. To do this on your iPhone:

  Open one session with another Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  1. Tap Settings > Messages.
  2. Tap, send and receive.
  3. Enter your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

  On your MacBook Pro:

  1. Open messages
  2. In the menu bar to open your Messages > Preferences > accounts
  3. Choose your Apple ID on the left
  4. Click sign out

  Once you're disconnected in these two places, go ahead and sign at the same time in the same place, then configure your SMS transfer using the aforementioned article, or this one:

  Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. From your post, I see that you want to stop your Messages to be accessible on the lock screen. I completely understand wanting to keep your conversations private and to prevent their access without your access code. I'd be happy to help you to know what options you have!

  For added convenience, app Notifications have a setting that allows them to be seen and interacted with on your lock screen. It is a setting entirely optional and can be disabled for individual applications under settings > Notifications. Tap the application that you want to adjust (in your case, Messages) and toggle the "Show on lock screen" switch in the off position. You can still receive alert sounds when a message arrives through to be notified, you have received one, but it will not appear on your lock screen. To view, unlock your iPhone and go directly to the Messages app.

  For some people, the link between iPhone and Mac for Forwarding text (which works in both directions) can break.

  Things to check: -.

  (1) iPhone and Mac are still on the same LAN

  (2) that the iPhone displays the Mac which should get the sent items

  In case of doubt deletion the Mac in the list.

  Leave the little transfer of text then reset so that the Code number will appear again on the Mac.

  When I reply to a text message using the dictation (the option button of the microphone), the screen turns off after about 15-18 seconds.  When the screen turns off text message that I dictate to me is deleted and I have to start over.  I know that you can set the display to stay awake for 70 seconds instead of 15; However, I like it stay in 15 seconds normally but when dictate a message to stay so that I am always or at least allow me to wake up the watch by pressing and then continue to dictate where I left.

  Try to connect both devices under settings > messages and facetime.

  Then connect you.

  Try and see if the pop code upp.

  Otherwise disconnect messages and facetime to both devices and go to settings > General > reset > reset all settings.

  Don't delete data.

  Then connect, and then try again.

• I want to design an application that reads a text message and automatically responds by updating a database

  I'm designing an application that would require me to receive a text message with a user name and a code number which could be compared to some sets of similar codes in the database to find a match. If a match is found, automatic SMS generated code randomly will be sent to the client. The generated password automatically would be also stored in a database as soon as the SMS is sent. The client should then enter the password to authenticate the user ID.

  I have a question my default (standard) text message application shows 1 unread text message, but it does not exist. This happened after I had a failure to download a MMS message. I deleted the threads which includes mms, but who doesn't have a lot of help

  I made soft don't reset also, no help. Even tried to download another app sms and that don't default to no chance it is sitting.

  A little update.

  I might have found the solution now.

  In fact, I installed a third parity sms app to see if I could find out more about this issue. I installed Go SMS market. There, I found the 'ghost' message, a text Message from an unknown sender with a code 4503 error according to me. I removed it in there.

  Went in the settings - applications - set - messages and deleted all data.

  rebootet phone, is the application of sms by default back to the standard. And the notification ghost disappeared. I received sms more after that and now it seems OK.
