NO WIFI detected AT ALL

HY everybody,

Needles to say I like thousand others with MacBook wifi problems here. I went to the apple store they did not, they did the same worse(geniuses my ***). Now I don't have wifi at all.

Summary:

-updated yosemite10.08

-After that, no hardware detected. (so I got to the apple store)

-Now, I can't even select wifi (in gray)

-They keep telling me it's a hardware problem, but this morning I could go on wifi with safe mode.

what I've done so far:

SMC - Reset

-Reset PRAM.

-safe mode

So far, not good.

I tried to do a recovery mode, but because I can not log into the App Store, I can't go any further. I can connect to iTunes iMessage, FaceTime except AppStore.

Is that what someone has solved this problem, I would be so happy,.

Or someone recommend to buy a dongle until this problem is solved by apple?

Please help me

I can connect to iTunes iMessage, FaceTime

How can you do this if you have no Wi - Fi?

  • Not detected at all IDE drives

    OK, because of my most recent thread, I was forced to pull a 3.5 "IDE HDD in my office in an enclosure for backup. The backup went perfectly, no damage detected in all. Then, I pulled the IDE cable in the Office for the CD player because he got in the way of the installation of the HD. I pulled by plastic, not the Ribbon. He slipped effortlessly, and the installation of what I had done several times previously worked perfectly. Until I started, that is. The computer has done is the automatic test sequence, but I noticed that the CD players and HARD disk are missing from the list of installed devices. I have no other devices, so I went into the BIOS to be sure. Synthesis system said, all IDE drives were "not installed". All cables are firmly in place, has not changed in the BIOS except the boot sequence. I need to install Windows on this HARD drive, I can not do because the CD player is also out. Help, please!

    Wow I feel stupid. Ribbon IDE frayed.

  • Z370 cannot detect any wifi network to all the

    Hi, my ideapad z370 suddenly stopped detecting any wifi network. I know this isn't my wifi router that has the problem because my ipad can connect to wifi. any help? Thank you very much!

    Hi j1986,

    Welcome to the Forums.

    You can try the following:

    1. press Fn + F5 to activate the wireless card (make sure that the current status is set on "ON")

    2. relying on Fn + F5 is unable to turn the wireless status on, make sure that the physical wireless switch is on position ON.

    3. If the same problem, boot into the BIOS by pressing F2 at startup and make sure that the WLAN device is enabled.

    4. If you still cannot detect wifi networks, open Device Manager (press Windows key + R) and then:

    -Go to the ECS network

    -Right click on the wireless adapter and select uninstall

    -Right click on network adapters, then select Scan for hardware changes and check for availabel wifi networks

    5. If not, try to reposition the connectors wireless in the lower part of the PC (see page 42 of the HMM)

    Hope this helps

  • Satellite A200-09V - card Wifi detected but never connected

    Hi all!

    First of all, sorry for my English... so be cool with me!

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A200-09V so I change my router to a DLink with 802.11n. So I buy an internal wireless card but the card is correctly detected, but never whant to be 'connected '.

    The original card inside is an Intel 3945ABG.
    When I turn on my laptop, on the front of my laptop, I have a little orange light with a switch to cut the card.

    The card I buy is an Intel WiFi Link 5100 ABGN. But light, wathever I change the switch ON of OFF, again and always off the coast. Windows detects the card correctly and I install the right driver for intel, and in my equipment manager, the card is in the network card.

    But the map never want to get "online"... I can turn the card but I can not connect (so I do not see the wireless near me).

    I have the latest bios and driver... but it's like the laptop never 'talk' to the card and by the way, don't get pass the signal.

    But why XP detects the card but not get cards online? If the card was bundles, XP will never be able to "detect" the card and if XP correctly detects the card, it's as if the card is compatible with the motherboard? Isn't it?

    Thank you for helping be and I give you all the information you want...

    The network without WIRE Intel 3945ABG card only does support A, B or G standard and your router has N.

    So, you need to set the router to G standard or perhaps, you set up the router again to this standard and without security settings. It's the best way I think, and if it works, you can enable encryption and the security features more.

  • WiFi detection problem

    Hi all

    I'm trying to detect if the Wifi is available so that I can enjoy the high connection speed Wifi. After reading all the discussions on wifi, I came up with this code, but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone tell me what is wrong with him?

    Thank you for your help.

    full book = ServiceBook.getSB ();

    serviceRecords = serviceBook.findRecordsByCid ("WPTCP");

    for (int i = 0; i)< servicerecords.length;="" i++)="">
    ServiceRecord serviceRecord = serviceRecords [i];

    String recordName = serviceRecord.toString ();

    If (recordName.startsWith ("Wi - Fi")) {}
    EU wifi
    Returns true;
    }

    }

    Try replacing:

    recordName.startsWith ("Wi - Fi")

  • The TCP Listen.vi doesn't seem to detect reliably all the elements on the network.

    I use a network dedicated to four devices. When I run the TCP Listen.vi it does not always detect all four of the devices. Sometimes, he gets all of them and in the worst case, a single device.  The question I have is to detect if it's the vi or if there is that something screwed up with the network, or with devices.  I bet on the devices, but the development engineers always tell me it perfect stuff. From time to time, I have a hard time to believe for some reason any.

    Someone has ideas how to analyze where is the problem?  I am a newbie with TCP stupid mistakes are not only possible, but likely.

    Thank you

    Dave

    Nathand,

    I think you have already revealed the possible source of the problem. I think that I do not use this thing correctly based on your information.  I'll go back and rewrite things and see where I get.  And thanks for the tip of Wireshark. Never heard before.

    Thank you!

  • 15 - n268sa wifi detects not 5 GHz

    I bought the computer laptop 15-n268sa, but when I try to detect the 5 GHz networks, it does not appear. I could not find bluetooth, thought that this was a minimum requirement in the age, we are, however not complain on bluetooth technology, since it has been a failure from my side. I expect at least the wifi to detect the 5 GHz networks. That's my bad speed limit.

    Hello

    He has only "802.11b/g/n (1 x 1)" as shown:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04072736

    That's why he can't 'see' 5 GHz network and the possibility of change, it is VERY thin.

    Kind regards.

  • Computer Windows XP detects not * all * critical updates or high priority

    Hello

    I am and have been, problems with a computer Windows XP here at work that does not detect critical updates either Windows Update or Microsoft Update.  In fact, the only update that is currently available to me is one for Silverlight.  I also checked that no update is currently hidden.  In addition, when checking "Add/Remove Programs" when you select the check box 'Show updates', that an update installed is listed: Security Update for Windows XP (KB923786).

    I should also mention that I don't get any errors whatsoever in the analysis of updates; simply, the updates are not listed as being available for me to install.  It's almost as if he thinks that I have already installed.

    This computer running Windows XP SP3 and Internet Explorer 6 installed (Internet Explorer 7 or 8 is not an update available) I have not tried to install IE7 manually although I can try soon (if you think it can solve my problem).

    Here's what I've tried:
    I tried to reinstall the Windows Update Agent using the command: windowsupdateagent30 - x 86 .exe /wuforce
    I tried to reset the Windows Update components using the tool 'Fix It' of this article (I did not all the steps manually): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

    This is the last release of my file WindowsUpdate.log last time I tried to search for updates:

    As I suspected, the computer has a (very early) beta of SP3 installed. Uninstall, reboot twice, and then install Windows XP SP3 Final [1] & restart twice again.

    WinXP SP3 - read all the prerequisites for a successful installation
    http://msmvps.com/blogs/harrywaldron/archive/2008/05/08/Windows-XP-SP3-read-all-prerequisites-for-a-successful-installation.aspx

    Then go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and scan | Install all updates critical security available (only); Follow all the instructions. Subsequently, another CUSTOM scan to make sure that you have not missed any.

    Tip: Do NOT install IE8 via Windows Update! Just 'hide' for now, please. (Believe me).

  • I have an Aspire S - 7 392. I'm on Windows 10. My Wifi is falling all the time. I get the following

    Messages:

    a default gateway is not available or reseset or wireless capability Wifi adapter is disabled.  All trying to decide what to do with my Wifi starts to operate.  It is not my ISP that I use 2 other applications without any problem?

    I decided that my driver of intel adater was obsolete.  I've updated and I will be Ms. If this eliminates the problem.

  • Connectivity USB not detected at all on 1132 MFP

    Hello, I'm trying to understand this... the 1132 MFP turns on and works as a copier but it is not at all detected

    via a USB connection. Plug and unplug the USB cable do not produce any reaction from the PC either.

    I have replaced several USB cables, change of the USB ports on my computer nothing happens.

    Everyone is in a similar situation?

    I think the USB module is turned on the printer, but any feedback is much appreciated!

    Thank you

    Hi bleduri,

    I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  What is the exact model of the (M1132 MFP Laserjet, Deskjet) printer?  Given that the PC does not respond when you insert the USB it is possible that the PC port or printer is defective, but it is also possible the problem is with conflicts of USB or software related issues.  Please follow the steps in the following link to isolate if hardware is defective, other or software device conflicts are listed as being the issue. I hope this helps!

  • WiFi detected but cannot connect

    I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 and Windows 7 Starter. I've updated the BIOS, but now I can't connect to wifi plus. The various wifis are detected, they are not protected by word or whatever it is. But I can't connect them.

    The little wifi light on the front Crest is on. I pressed the FN + F5 and makes sure everything is on.

    What can I do?

    Hello and welcome,

    try to reset the router...

    cordially KalvinKlein

  • WiFi works on all computers except my laptop Windows 7

    I've had this laptop for a long time and only, he started having connection problems recently. He's trying to connect to my wifi at home as usual and it says it's connected but there is "no internet access." The signal strength is very good, and when I use diagnose, he said "your modem broadband has connectivity problems." I have tried turning the router market and which has not changed anything. I tried to make a new admin account and can not connect. I tried to disable the Windows Firewall and still unable to connect. (I have no other firewalls, at least none that I knowingly installed)

    A week ago, it does the same thing. I just left it, and later in the day, he was able to connect. Then last night he stopped again, but this time it was 12 hours and still didn't come back.

    It isn't a new network, a new router, not a new laptop computer. It's the same system that I use for more than 2 years. The only thing I know that is changed is a month ago I called Bright House (because a different portable computer, a Windows 8 a cannot connect so that others might) and they reset things. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago, when my laptop Windows 7 suddenly stopped connecting. As I said, it was working fine yesterday and the House of Bright reset has been more than a month. So I don't even know if that is related.

    What I'm more suspicious is that my wifi is named BobWifi, but when I connect it says "connected to BobWifi 2." I don't know whence came the 2. All other computers that connect say "BobWifi" not "BobWifi 2". But he still lists the SSID as BobWifi, so maybe that's not the problem, I don't know.

    I came across this thread and it seems that this guy had the same problem. But in his case it was McAfee it spoil, and I don't even have McAfee.

    I tried everything I can think and have gotten nowhere. Why cannot connect this laptop?

    Hello

    Thank you for the information.

    It seems that the problem is with a driver for Broadcom 802.11 g, so please uninstall and reinstall by following the steps in my previous answer.

    Go to the Hp website and select the operating system that is appropriate to the type of system (32-bit or 64-bit) and check if that helps.

    To reinstall the driver Broadcom 802. 11 g, please visit the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv5-entertainment-notebook-PC-series/3744212/model/3860524/drivers

    I hope this helps. Please follow the suggestion above and let us know the results.
