  • HP configuration wizard does not detect my wireless network.

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C4580 multifunction device for a few years, works as a printer/scanner wireless for the household. In the House, we have an iMac, a Macbook Air and two computers HP laptop.

Last weekend I bought a MacBook Pro in lieu of the iMac and a router Airport Extreme Base Station to replace my ISP provided. Since then, I can't have the printer hooked up again.

All the wireless devices in the House for example iPad, iPhones etc connect the new router without problem so I'm glad that the wireless signal is OK.

I downloaded the latest HP Setup application and it ran with the printer connected by USB to install on the MacBook. However, even if the USB device is detected when I try to configure it to the wireless, the installation software does not detect my wireless network.

    I tried the following: -.

    -Rebooted router

-Reset default printer is turned off, unplug the unit and unplugged the cable, left for 30 seconds then reconnected again.

    -Created a new comments system.

-The router is configured to run g and n network.

-The network names have any unusual characters.

-Tried to enter the name manually.

    USB printing is fine.

Is there something about the installation wizard that can not locate networks?

OK, on the front of the printer, go to wireless menu and restore the default settings.

When you start the HP software to connect the wireless printer, make sure that the USB cable is NOT connected to the printer.  Only connect when the software tells you to do.

Be careful with the comments network, if your computer or printer connect you will not be able to print.

    Hello

The operating system recognizes the WLan card in Device Manager?
I found information that the wireless card is an option on this unit.
This means that there could be no wireless network card. But you suggested that you tried to install another card. Have you used one compatible?

Moreover if you have installed the WLan card must be the 2 cables; White hand and the Brown cable to the

Then, if everything has been installed correctly you can install WLan drivers.
To detect the wireless network card, you need to activate the switch on the front side of the laptop, and then FN + F8.

    Hello

It seems that the laptop would support the Wlan Atheros 802.11agn card.
Usually the Atheros Wlan card must appear in Device Manager as on the menu network cards.
If it s not appear do not then I recommend that you install the WLAN driver which can be downloaded here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads

Choose the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter Windows 7 (32/64) 9.2.0.419.0 or newer
I hope this helps to detect the WiFi chip!

    Hello:

Looking for the hardware revision of the wireless card that your laptop is a newer version of the driver than 2014.

This package contains the installation package driver for the controller wireless LAN Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE in the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    File name: sp72932.exe

Your laptop is not supported by HP for W8.1.

However, you should be able to use the W8.1 drivers and software ac000-15 t on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your wireless adapter does not work correctly. Just to clarify, can you tell me if you have deleted the Windows update that you believe has problem?

you see the card wireless as an unknown device in Device Manager? If this is not the case, perhaps that the card was not properly installed after replacing the motherboard.

  • WiFi not detected on T500 card

    Hello

    March 17, 2009, I received 3 nine T500 and I let the automatic installation (VISTA Business SP1).

BIOS: no WiFi detected. I forced turning.

Device Manager: No Wifi (switch is 'ON')

Knowing the type of plate (533AN-MMW, WiFi Link 5300 INTEL) I went to Install hardware, adapter appears in the Manager for devices with an exclamation point. Even after installing the latest drivers from Intel or Lenovo.

    No solution so far.

I had to reinstall old T500 (Lenovo has sent a series of installation CD)

WiFi worked before but after I installed the SP1 of VISTA, exactly the same problem as above is displayed.

    Is it because of SP1?

    An ideal fix?

    Thank you for your help.

    Fixed a problem!

It seems that VISTA SP1 installing the hard drive does not install drivers fot the WiFi card.

First be sure to turn on WiFi in the BIOS and SECURITY NETWORK.

After installing the package 7vwv23ww website of INTEL for Intel WiFi link 5300AGN Board was discovered by the system.

  • HP Pavilion p6520y (win7) built-in wireless adapter will not detect ANY wireless network.

HP Pavilion p6520y Desktop on Windows 7 Home Premium

Error MESSAGE: "DO NOT CONNECTED - NO CONNECTION IS AVAILABLE" (from the tray icon of wireless with X red network connection).

No changes to the system, in fact, it's brand new. I just want to use my built-in 802.11n Wireless LAN Card to connect to a network including all other PCs (laptops and desktop computers) can see.

I tried a lot of things: toggle, adapter, adapter to uninstall/install, driver update (RT3090), PC restore/recovery, reset the router, change the configuration of the card (e.g., power management), all no. AVAIL.

There is a port of type mini co - ax at the back of the tower for an ANTENNA which came with the PC. However, I think that the internal card could still detect a signal from 20 ft away without antenna. Isn't it?

    PROBLEM SOLVED:

Of course, the last thing I mentioned was the cause. I have set up the office within inches of the wireless router and a signal (albeit low) was detected.

So I guess the fixing of an antenna (which should have with my PC) will improve the signal reception when the office is further away (say 20 ft, or more). already checked radio shack with no luck.

In any case, at least, I know what the problem is. Hope this helps someone in a similar scenario... See you soon...

As I am new to using the WiFi, can someone help me please?

Our office has a Wifi environment. Passed on the WiFi system on the left side of the computer.

    Hello

as a first step, you should check if your Satellite Pro 4600 has a built in Wifi card. Here, you have to look in the device manager - network and search for a Wifi card because some of the 4600 PS were only sold with a praparation of Wifi!

There you can also see if any problems with the place a hard ware.

Then check your network settings for the Wifi card. Go to your network administrator and ask your network settings.
