"Non-collant" visited site color in Windows 7

On my laptop Win 7, FF5 does not maintain the color of the links 'visited' site after viewing the site (e.g., Craigslist postings); it flashes the 'visited' color (I use #770000) when you click the link, but refers to the 'visited' color (blue). Works normally on my Win XP desktop. No significant difference in the subject: configs. How can I get a sticky color "visited" in Windows 7?

I think the problem is that many sites use background colors to create buttons, so you lose when you override the colors of the page.

Perhaps you could use an add-on to refine the colors instead of the parameter of type all or nothing Firefox. I found a few extensions that say they can change the colors of the page, but I've not tried it myself:

For a truly personalized approach of colors, links, there are two ways of general use to apply your own style rules to specific sites: the stylish extension and a file userContent.css. You must define a background color preferred text and for links visited and unvisited so that you're sure to be able to read the text.

    Hello

It seems that a parameter has been changed on your new tab page. These changes are usually caused by bars of third-party tools or modules. I understand that you would like to know how to reset it. No problem, please follow the steps below:

    1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
    2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise! to keep the comments: config page.
    3. Type browser.newtab.url in the search box to find it on the list.
    4. Double-click on browser.newtab.url and type on: newtab in the window that opens.

Restart Firefox and open a new tab to ensure that the change has been made. If there is no problem with the plugins please see also: troubleshooting questions with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems

Please post back with your results, we are happy to help you.

    Hello

IE - Tools - Internet Options - tabs settings general tab - when a new tab is opened, Open - set
to the new tab page - APPLY / OK if already and move to something else, as if you planned
to leave it like that and then go back and set again.

    I hope this helps.

Family blocked Security Site is shown repeatedly in the most visited site on the weekly activity report

I'm not able to get on the site using the connection to childhood.  But reports say the blocked site looked at 300 - 500 times.  Even if these are attempts (are they?) this should be reported elsewhere (I thought they were already), I want to see my children are actually using on the activity report. PS I'm not positive on the version of windows.

  • Incorporate BC web results app on the third non - BC Web site

Hi, I've had a good look and can't find anything that looks like my request.

I wonder if it is possible to have BC web app results viewing on a site of third-party non - BC to emebedding of the code, whether via iframe or any other method. Basically I have a database of BC with a bunch of equipment ads that users can search on my site, but to help promote my website through my industry partners (which are non - BC websites) I would like to include some sort of banner / advertising pulling a random list of my BC database and displaying on their website. This would create a dynamic web ad for me because every time a user visits site of an industrial partner they will see a different list of my database instead of a static ad that I should provide every time I tried to change, and the admin for the industry Web site will have to be updated manually every time.

Is it possible one way or another?

    Hi kommamedia,

You could create an Adrotator in British Colombia, with only 1 point of html.

    In the article code drop the webapp as random: {module_webapps id = "xxxxx" filter = "random"}

Insert the adrotator on a blank page without a template.

You can then display the list item random webapp via an iframe to any site:

This directly will not work as advertising banner though, as all the links are executed inside the iframe.

  • How can I control selection of the most visited sites?

At present, the operation of the 'MORE VISIT' adds almost all sites to the list. I can even visit a site only once, but it remains a most visited site. Also, I noticed that some sites that I visit regularly for example. "Al Jazeera English" is not added to the list.

So how is the selection as ' most visited decided?
I hope only that the sites I make visit to stay on the list, otherwise the VISIT MORE is just a short run list of last visited websites.

You don't control it. This is a report of your consumption in the last 7 days.
Compare to the list, you see if you the following:

    1. 'Ctrl + Shift + H' (bookmarks > show all history)
    2. Select "last 7 days" in the left panel
    3. Click on the 'Number of visit' column in order to sort descending (high top number)

If you do not visit count, just right-click on any column or click on the list of the library and check mark display menu 'Number of visit'
