None appear Internet connections on my computer

Hi, I'm new to the Forum and I would like to help with my Internet on my Windows 7. I'm trying to find a way to get rid of this big X on the sign of the internet. I've tried diagnosing, reboot, troubleshooting, everything. No luck. The internet is very good, because I'm on another computer with this issue, but not on my on my other computer to Windows. He DID appear once, but it was just limited access and it wouldn't let me not connect again, tried to restart, but then he just disappeared and came back with a red X. Can someone help me understand this? Thank you.

BTW, I check every 5 minutes on the fourms. This happened for a week now.

It's weirder?

Have you tried to boot into "safe mode" with networking "to see what happens next?

And then try a 'clean boot' to see if it works in that? Keep not in the boot, for the trial now just.

Why my printer say my appears not connected to my computer

    Hello @momodeda!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I don't know why the computer does not show the printer offline, but I would be happy to provide help to try and get communicating them again!

The first thing I would suggest is to power cycle all the devices.  Remove the power to the printer, shut down the computer and remove the power to the router.  Wait 20 seconds, then reconnect the router.  Wait for the lights on the router to return.

Plug the printer in and turn on the computer.  Once all devices are back on, try printing again.

If this does not work then I would recommend uninstalling the HP software.  Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.

To uninstall the HP software, click here: uninstall the HP software

To perform a disk cleanup, click here: perform a disk cleanup

To download the HP software, click here: HP Officejet full feature and driver software

If please, after back and let me know how it goes!

    Hello

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Perform the check and the boot if the problem persists.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: Follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

    Hope that helps.
  • continues to fall sharply the internet connection for the computer but the xbox is not yet

If the computer is on and I walk for an hour or two, when I come back, the internet connection went only to the computer.

Xbox live still works fine.  So, I have to unplug the router, then plug back in and then try again to connect.  Usually it works fine then.

But he's so old when you do this several times a day. Help!.  Does anyone know what is the problem?  I don't know what else to try.

    Thank you!

As you mentioned that your XBOX works perfectly well and you face the problem only on your computer, this means that your Linksys also works very well, it has something to do with the computer itself. Also after some time you made the day before computers and when you resume your computer, that in view of the time, you dosent computer to communicate with your router and that is why you are not able to go online from your computer.

Here are a few parameters that you can try on your computer, I think that might solve the problem...

Win XP: Click the Start button > go to RUN > type in "ncpa.cpl" - hit OK > right-click on icon "' connection to the Local network'" and select properties-here click on "Set" jaspal-click on a button on the "Advanced" tab-In 'property' box, point, highlight link speed and duplex/network/type or Media type connection - and here (network connections)
the 'Value' box select 10 MB/s half duplex / 10 half mode base T/10 basic and click OK.

Vista: Click the Start button > Panel > network and Sharing Center-click view the status of the Local Area Connection - click on continue click on the properties below-click on a button on the button Configure click on the tab 'Advanced' - in the area of 'Property' highlight link speed and duplex/connection network/type or type of media - and in the 'value' box select 10 MB/s half duplex / 10 half mode base T/10 basic and click on OK.

If it dosent always works, so I think you need to update the drivers for your NIC, once you update, it will not solve the problem.

  • get internet connection through another computer...

    Hello

I would go straight to the point :)

I have a desktop running windows vista. I have a normal internet connection through a router that connects to the internet on this desktop computer.

now, I also have a laptop with windows xp and here is what I do. my laptop's wireless was always bothers me, sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't work out... so I saw that there is an Ethernet card installed in the laptop with an Ethernet port.

    My question is this:

I have a lot of Ethernet cables at home and I was wondering if there is a way to get internet to my laptop via the Ethernet port on my desktop, but without needing the desktop computer to be running, cause I only use my laptop these days and my router is too far to connect from my room. I hope you understand my problem. In theory, I think it's possible to do, but I'm not sure how, so please help me on this one. my laptop also has firewire, but I prefer ethernet for some reason any.

    Thank you

    Hello

Sorry, but you cannot get a connection via another computer if the computer is off.

I'm not sure that I understand completely the topology.  However, if the office is connected by cable to a router for Internet connection, you can solve the problem by buying a simple network switch.

You take the cable from the desktop and connect to the switch. Then you plug the desktop and laptop computer at the switch.

That this switch network does, it divides a cable to feed many computers.

Example of a switch that can be connected with a cable to a router and feed 5 computers.

    Try this process.

    WinSock and TCP/IP

When parasites get installed on your computer, they might create hooks in the system computer activities related to the program "Junk" files  When you get rid of the 'Junk' hooks could remain in the system, in the absence of target files (they cleaned) problems are created in the network and Internet related activities.

If after uninstalling the "Junk", the Internet connection does not work as it should, you will need to restart the operating system parts which get trashed by the process.

    WinSock and TCP/IP update.

Type Cmd in the search text box.

Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a command as administrator prompt.  Allow the elevation.

Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt and press the Enter key.

Do the same process to refresh the TCP/IP just replace the command typed with.

And the sam to do this.

    ipconfig/flushdns

  • share my internet connection with another computer using a router

My question is if I give you my wep key to another computer in my house so that it can access the internet will be my files or no matter what content of my computer stays private, I need to share my internet connection without sharing something else?. Thanks JF

In general, it is safe to do so - just a person granting access to your network will not give them access to your files on your computer unless you are already sharing files with another computer on your network.  In this case, you want to check your sharing settings to make sure that the shared files are not available for all users of the network.  The thing I'd be worried, is whether or not the person you share with is "don't own"-no virus, malware, etc. on their computer, given that some of these programs can spread via a shared network connection.

  • Internet connection problem 1 computer cable 5

I have a network set in place (cable) on 5 computers, of which 4 are online, Windows XP Pro installed all software even.   We have a few laptops that connect to the network and go online (wireless) without problem.  The 5th wired computer connects to the network fine, communicates with other computers through LanChat, but does not connect online.  Thanks in advance for any help!

I checked all the IP of all computers.  Not seem to have the same IP address, all back in the order of. 192-. -.1.64 to 192.-.-.1.70.  No conflict in the properties of the system with the card.

All default gateways & subnet masks are identical, but I guess this isn't a problem that other computers work fine.

Run ipconfig/all on the computer does not, I have the following information on the connection to the local network Ethernet adapter:

Connection specific dns Suffex: invalid field

Description: Intel pro 1000 MT network Connection

    Physical address: 00-81

    Active Yes DHCP

    autoconfiguration enabled yes

    IP address: 192-.-.1.70

    subnet mask-

    default gateway-

DHCP server - even as a gateway

    Servers DNS-192.-.3.1

    192 -.3.7

I checked two of the systems that are online and found the only divergence to be both servers DNS are the same) which is 192 -.1.254 could the problem in that lie?  How do I configure that?

  • Lose my ethernet internet connection when the computer goes into mode 'sleep '.

    I have a desktop with Windows Vista.  I have my internet through a cable company.  I've never had problems of connectivity for 2 years and then out of no where he would pass the signal after mode 'sleep'.  I had the cable company come out and check on all equipment and it's good that now, I'm still clueless and confused.  The connection icon have an exclamation point in a yellow triangle and say "limited connectivity" and «identify...» "and then I click on Local area connection status and make a diagnostic test that will get me connected to"network 2 "until it goes into sleep mode and then the process repeats.  It's boring say the least.  When I login and go to the LAKE State he says;

    IPv4 connectivity: Internet

    IPv6 connectivity: limited

    Media state: enabled

    Duration:

    Speed: 100.0 Mbps

He said that the issue is resolved after each diagnostic test, but then it happens again.  I need some help pleaseeee!

    > I need some help pleaseeee!

But you're in the wrong group! It is a problem with your network driver
or your Windows installation. You have this repost to a suitable for Windows Vista
Forum. It is possible that a newer driver from the network has a problem with sleep
mode, you should try another pilot (older or newer).
From your description, there is a problem to renew the lease of your
DHCP server (which must be running on your router), it does not use the
IP address assigned earlier or he does not do / IP address (which
should be the same) we get the router. It is also possible that the
problem is with the router or a new firmware on this subject. You should study
These two avenues, including a replacement of the router and firmware.
Another very simple solution is to configure your PC for a static IP number and
leave it like that. In the forum, I mentioned, people will be able to talk to you
through this option if you don't know how to do this.

  • Computer laptop Windows 8 does not properly connect to 8.1 Win mobile wifi hotspot - connection indicated as 'Limited' (no internet connection)

    Hello

None of our laptops Win 8 appear to be able to connect to a wifi hotspot (internet sharing enabled, and apart from the wifi on the handset) provided by our Win mobile (Nokia Lumia 635) 8.1, there seems to be a connection between the phone and the laptop, but it is presented as 'Limited' (no internet connection).

Same phones can provide the internet connection through the internet even setting for laptops Windows 7 without any problem of sharing.

What additional settings are there to win 8 laptops that require an adjustment?

  • Computer internet connection drop (only configuring a connection)

Good evening.  I am running Win7.  I have a modem/router Netgear connected with BT broadband and Ethernet connection between my computer and the router.

When I switch off my computer for the night and resume the next day, the computer says that I have no network connection.  My wife's cell phone and the son can always access the internet via the wireless connection, and in all other respects, the network is functional.

In order to restore the internet connection from my computer after power off, I have to reset the router.  Once this is done, the computer takes up his internet connection and network with all its cable systems and wireless connections continue to work perfectly.  In my view, that it is a software problem with the adapter to computer network, but beyond my ability to resolve.  Grateful for any help you can give.

Go to Device Manager and uninstall your network card.  Restart the computer and it will reinstall it.

If that does not resolve the problem, I suspect that your router has a problem.  I notice that you tell us that your router wireless works well, but your (and only you) wired is not.

You can also try to change the cable, but it rarely makes a difference.  Try also using a different router port.

Replacement is not big an investment and typically brings benefits, if you buy well.  A high price on a new router doesn't mean better.  Some of the costs down those are just as good.  The Dlink DIR L 605 is an example of a great router at a reasonable price.

  • Internet connection with a wired network card Gigabit speed limit

Can you reach 150 speed Mbps Internet connection on a computer running Win XP SP3 and IE8 with the help of the Gigabit wired network adapter?
What kind of drivers are required in such a case?
Currently, I have 150 Mbps of connection, and what I get according to the speed tests is of the order of 60 Mbps with pings of 30 to 60 ms.
My troubled wired adapter is TP-LINK Model: TG-3269-based Realtek RTL-8169SC chipset and its driver: rtnicxp.sys, v.5.649.0615.2006 (WinDDK) provided by Realtek

The fact that your Ethernet card is theoretically capable of 1000 Mbps does not mean that everything in the path between your computer and the fiber cable (which is what your ISP based his spec 'speed' on) is capable of the same way.

    For example:

    • What type of cable you are using between the computer and the modem/router... and how long is it?  You did the cable yourself or did you buy it with the connectors already attached?  You must at least Cat 5 cable and attach the connectors yourself is not recommended, unless you have a good amount of experience doing.
    • What brand/model/version of your modem/router?  It has the latest firmware installed?

You have a second computer that also has a Gigabit network?  If so, check the transfer speed of A computer through the router to computer B (i.e. What is the transfer speed of your LAN, completely apart from the speed of transfer between you and your ISP).  Use a stopwatch and a large file or use a utility such as LAN Speed Test.

What TG-3269 version do you have?  The current one is V3.

Assuming you have v.3, you appear not to have the latest version of the driver (though I doubt that's the problem).  The package labeled TG-3269_XP_beta a 5.719.0325.2009 XP driver version.  http://www.TP-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TG-3269&version=v3#tbl_a
Finally, you may want to think about your connection setting, what is most important for XP and later versions of Windows: http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and http://www.psc.edu/index.php/networking/641-tcp-tune
